Lol. Thanks bro.. I vividly could remember the immigration scam , collecting thousands of Naira from unemployed graduate , planned a recruitment exercise in a stadium that resulted to death of some graduates whose parents have spent a whole lot on them before they could attain that level...

But guess what ? No government recruitment attract buying of forms nowdays it's absolutely free though I'd still want the government to improve on transparency and admission of the candidates should be on merits but we have atleast improved on that aspect.

Still some ignorant ones with so much hatred want to take us back to Egypt !!! It will never work .

I had a friend in 2016 and he always complains that I relocated all the way from PH to come and be intimidating him and his family.

Taraba is not that far from Calabar, you'd use the new camp , but those going from west should be prepared cos its very very far .Camp is not that bad though no light when I was there .. Enjoyment almost everyday and fun camping activities, but bad food , you'd get cheap with loads of meat at mami market.. but as for posting ... Hmmmm the place isn't that developed with little or no institution to accommodate the numbers of core members.

So you can guess where you'd be posted.. and there's a town close to Cameroon called Gembu with "jos-like" weather, far from Taraba, if you are posted there prepare for another journey to Calabar.

I camped there before I redeployed .. Good luck

Dakkada... Akwa-ibom is a relatively nice environment, you'd enjoy your stay, though you might not enjoy your camp like others with that deeper life woman who's fond of cutting short enjoyment. Please lobby to be posted to places like Uyo, Eket , ikot-Ekpene, Akak and so on. You'd get opportunities to complement your income if you ain't lazy. But I must tell you , Akwa-ibom is expensive expectially UYO and EKET. Good luck

They are simply asking for certification and not registration !!!

It is always advised that all graduates are to get Certified by the body that govern their course of studies during nysc or immediately after nysc.

During my nysc I saw plenty guys n girls get their ican,chaterred everything and what have you.....but we Engineers were unable to ,cos portal for nse was closed,and we can't get COREN without nse, except we are ready to be schooled again before we get COREN....


So......for those within the age bracket,I advice you all to go and get certified.....it's cheap,don't wait till when you need it before you start running Helter skeltet to get one....

with your NSE , recent graduates can never meet those requirements..

Recent graduates in Engineering can only be graduate member of NSE ..

omo COREN no be moi-moi ooo, though it is only compulsory for Army corp of Mechanical and Electrical engineers. But i think NSE will cover up, but unfortunately they have cloed their portal for registration for 2018.

But seriously, Academically LAUTECH students are so dump. And to make things worst the school is always on strike which makes the student brain dead. As I type now the school is closed down and in serious crisis. About majority of the girls been used for rituals, visit the school and see number of lexus, Toyota and Benz cars then you will know it's true. My problem with the school is they groom more yahoo boys and prostitute better than academic performance. How did I know ?

No school is free from all you wrote up there , reason why it's commonly happening in state University setting is fees being paid. Some are pushed to the extreme and do not want to drop out while in federal universities you know the lil they pay though it doesn't justify criminality.

Secondly, if they are considering certificate from 2009 till date , people who graduated between 2009 to 2011 from public university!! How many are below 30 ??

And graduates from 2013 till now expectially Engineers how many can boast of being COREN certified ??
When the requirements is like a herculean task.

For Engineers please read the requirements carefully and see where you are best fitted , COREN wasn't mentioned for some corps. But what do I know ? I may be wrong it's just my view.
