The last time I checked, they don't need mosque to pray to Allah..as they can pray anywhere because Allah is everywhere and besides, building mosque doesn't guarantee safety from Boko Haram and bandits so this defense is lame.

The same government paying ransom to free kidnapped girls and boys in the north is the one proposing a ban on ransom payment, even this same senator proposing this useless bill will not hesitate to pay ransom should his son or daughter be kidnapped today.

I know they copied this idea from other countries without taking into account our peculiarities. Abeg, that bill should be thrown out of the door.

I mean some people in the South may be so happy. Now you can see that taraba is attacked and people are losing their homes, but if a group comes out in the east to defend themselves so that what is happening in taraba does not occur, some people from the South may start criticising them. I am not in support of doing things recklessly in the east or doing stuff without consulting or respecting the elders in the east. But the joy some people derive when the news is bitter in the east is terrible.

I see what you are saying but I think it is a general issue in Nigeria. I have seen those in the SE expressing happiness at what is happening in the North, A pastor in the south once led his congregation to pray for the death of Buhari.
