Seems like youv had experience with building in benin lol Can you share with us?

The reason i am asking this is - Lagos house will require a large capital to build even the land is large about 3M upwards. If you put in that 3M in building in benin it wil go a long way .
Sir, the main reason I stated that you have potential of achieving both.

Guy please help me analyse this -

I have a land in Benin i bought some years ago (I have my siblings in benin) but i work and live in Lagos. I have the option to do either two things below

1. Buy a land in Lagos - Close to the new dangote refinery and wait for development in 5-6 years then resale or build in future. OR
2. Use the money to start building a house on the already own land i have in benin - then rent the house out.

Which do you think i should start first as a project . I dont have huge income - i am just a working class guy . please what do you guys think?
Hello Sir, I can tell you convincingly that you can achieve both, start to do something on the land you have in Benin and at the same time get another plot of land in Ibeju-Lekki.

Presently in Ibeju-Lekki, we have some reliable companies that allows flexible payment plans or selling on affordable promo price.
If you don't mind Sir, we can discuss better via whatsapp or we should continue on here.

I consult for reliable and reputable real estate companies and I can usher you toward getting value for your money in Ibeju-Lekki and give professional recommendations on how best to make use of available resources.

Properties › Who Benefited Most From Buying Land? by INTEGRITYA1(op): 4:59pm On Dec 19, 2017
I've been thinking about this particular question for some time now, at this stage I intend to seek practical opinions from all and sundry, most especially those who have benefited from investing in landed properties.

Buying and selling of landed properties in most cases do involve three (3) different parties
* The seller
* The buyer
* Agent/Consultant/Intermidiary/ or whatever you might call the broker.

For any successful deal all parties involved has there own share of the deal, like the seller take the proceed of the said property, while the agent is been paid commission and the buyer taken the full possession and ownership of the said Property.

To me I think buyer is the most beneficiary of the whole deal even though it's a win win situation to all involved parties.

Buyers benefits:
Land can be used to build residential apartment, while doing that will save someone from paying exorbitant amount as rent on yearly basis.

Living in your own apartment safe someone from frustration in the hands of some tough landlord or caretakers

Land can also be used for commercial activities through which the owner will continue to earn lifetime income.

Land by nature always appreciated and increase in value, so buying land in some strategic and prime areas is the most safe and secured investment. The benefit here can not be quantify in the long run.

Advantages that comes with buying land can not be exhausted; only that while buying we should be careful to avoid the fraudsters.

What really prompted my curiosity about who benefited most from buying land; as a real estate consultant, it do surprise me when ever I'm in talk with some potential individuals and how some do feel reluctant towards investing in landed properties.

So, let hear your view about who benefited most from buying genuine land.

Foreign reserve, is not liquid cash u can steal or spend ....Foreign reserve of all countries in the world fluctuate,they used to back up the local currency
I agreed that foreign reserves serve as back up to local currency as you said.

But can still be mismanaged, have you take time to study the trend of Nigeria foreign Reserve from Obasanjo regime till date, when Obasanjo took over our foreign Reserve was around $3b and rose to about $34b when he left and Yar Adua pick it from there to about $64b, so when Jonathan came on board, our foreign reserve fall below $25b as at when he left, so what happened to our common wealth during Jonathan regime?

@Op, I'm not in support of either Jonathan or Amechi, but we need more clarification regards your post and Amachi claim, there is different between "Excess Crude Account" and "Foreign Reserve"
But what I'm sure of was both were depleted during Jonathan regime, according to CBN data and information.

Good afternoon everyone,my name is precious,I graduated from university of ibadan three years ago,I am still looking for job,instead of sitting at home doing nothing i decided to go into the real estate agency after someone introduced me to it and so far so good I am making small money to at least take care of myself,but the issue is i now plan to put my services online but the question is can I upload pictures of houses for rent online even when I am not the direct agent??i mean source for house for rent and post the information online to get clients though I am not the direct agent that the landlord gave the house to,please help me out...thanks
If I understand you better, though you're not the direct agent to those house but you intend uploading them online for wider viewers in order to attract potential clients

I think there should not be issue in posting it online, what you should consider it; if a client should come through your efforts; will those you're dealing with compensate you accordingly in term of paying your commission? Once that is settled, you can go ahead.

Also, if you don't mind let chat further on how to explore more opportunities presented to us by real estate in 21st century.
