/ Hillary Clinton had more popular votes but Trump won in 2016. It is not by crowd. US Presidential election winner is determined by electoral colleges. I support Trump especially considering that the only policy Biden/Kamala and Democrats push is LGBTQ+ in Africa. The lifestyle became very popular and promoted under Obama and Biden. Their rights now supercede racial equality. They lumped all of them together under DEI--now that's being clever by half. Kenyan President had to school Obama publicly that LGBTQ+ is the least of their worries in Kenya: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0u9Bd7O7RU&pp=ygUfUHJlc2lkZm50IG9mIGtlbnlhIHNjaG9vbCBvYmFtYQ%3D%3D / |
/ From corruption to murder. Justice Agumogobia's name always show up in bad news. Karma? Imagine engaging in corruption to train and provide for your children only for their lives to be snuffed out in adulthood. Wasted investment? How many single women living alone will be snuffed out before all these militant feminists realize that Nigeria is a patriarchal society? Hate it or love it, the presence of a man in a household is an uncelebrated deterrent. Of course they can hire outsiders as househelp. But with recent events of domestic staff turning demons, the prophecy will be self-fulfilling. / |
/ He is developing Nigeria the same way he developed Lagos through stomach infrastructure and propaganda. Why blame Tinubu? He and his handlers told Nigerians exactly how he would "rule" Nigeria and as usual, Nigerians turned it into comedy. Did he make any policy statements all the time he supposedly campaigned for the Presidency? Deal with it fellas! Enjoy your predicaments. / |
/ People think that only hunger can get them in Nigeria. That's why you see those getting "temporary" patronage from the government always quick to defend this inept government. But Nigeria always has ways of happening to people in the most unexpected ways. It is only a matter of time. / |
/ If court judgment is effective, let them use it to restrict Boko Haram or unknown gunmen. The only power than government has over her people is the people's capacity to obey laws. When Kenyans stood against the machination of legislatures and judiciary, a new order was enthroned. Oba of Lagos couldn't believe that kids would swim in his pool, shit on his chair and steal his staff. Jagaban disappeared for a few days while it lasted. Revolution is the biggest threat to oppressors or manipulators. Nigerian politicians are lucky that Nigerian youths are too focused on BBN to have clear thought process. / |
/ It is idiotic to obey midnight law from a government that doesn't obey her own laws. The only reason the government is panicking is because they know that they are easily outnumbered if the people mumu done do. If the people decide that enough is enough and do a bum rush to Aso Rock or National Assembly, who can stop them? / |
/ LOL. Only in Nigeria. Where I live, if they dare cross the next street, opps will send them to their makers. Who you want threaten when everyone has guns? / |
/ This is a proof that they are intentionally allowing Boko Haram and ISWAP to wreck havocs in the North. They refused to deploy these military equipment to the hot zones in the North. / |
Beremx:/ Even if they buy at N40k, will it last them for the next 3 years? / |
/ APC government said that they removed subsidy but subsidy payment has quadrupled from Buhari's time. So what exactly is the folks at Daily Trust talking about? / |
/ If only they mobilized all the military and police they plan to use for anti-protest to the North... Boko Haram and ISWAP would have been history. But it may seem that BH and ISWAP are the geese that lay the golden eggs. They are needed to keep private bank accounts of politicians (aka sponsors) fat. / |
/ Apology not necessary after all there were rehearsals before the event and the organizers are fully aware of the subject. Remarkably, that's the lifestyle that Kamala Harris promoted in Uganda and Ghana when she visited Africa last year. Both countries shut her down. What nobody seems to understand is why economic cooperation and assistance by USA is tied to these special breed of humans in LGBTQ+ community. This playbook is only applicable to Africans. It makes one wonder---what exactly is the agenda? / |
/ It is funny seeing people shouting Law and Order while wasting respect on useless governors that means no well for their people. I don't get where this unnecessary respect for looters and kleptomaniacs came from. / |
Gerrard59:/ North Koreans have been under dictatorship for decades. They accept their fate. But it is bitches and whiners like you that come online to complain. Time to act, you recoil like cowards and invent excuses to remain docile. Nobody is forcing you to protest. The plea is if you must remain docile, do it in peace, enjoy your suffering and stop constituting nuisance with incessant complaints about hardship. No knight in shining armour is coming to free you. / |
/ Well.... A lot of the corporations have their executives listed on their filing papers and/or websites. That doesn't mean that they are the owners. / |
/ Nobody is blaming Jesus for not saving them. But if it were other religious adherents, the "What God Cannot Do Crew" would jump on the tragic news to curse their God. Then Righteousness will tell us that it is the end of times. / |
Zwooks:/ Since you know the answer, why not plant, harvest and sell at N1000 per tuber? / |
Chucks13:/ That's why I suggest "No protest" It is easier to jump off 3rd mainland bridge or die crossing the desert. I am sure 40 days prayers and fasting will force Jesus to come down and take over the reign of Nigeria. I am with you. It is better and safer to remain docile--graveyard peace is bae. / |
/ Returning home is hustling backwards. The quality of life is abysmal. The things we take for granted become luxury--healthcare, electricity, infrastructure, security, etc. Infact, you are on your own. Who wants to do that? Visit? Yes. Investments? Hell No! Exchange rates will bankrupt the heroes. / |
/ N41 Trillion? That's equivalent to N21 Trillion last year. What was it last year for proper comparison and analysis to ascertain if any progress was made? / |
/ It is very simple. Don't protest... but don't ever disturb us about how life is difficult in the country. Whether fuel sells for N1000/ltr or a bag of rice is N100k, just exercise some patience. During second term campaign, they will promise you that it will come down to N25/ltr and N3k ber bag respectively. As usual, you will dance and make merry on false promises ...and the cycle continues.Enjoy your suffering and hardship in peace. / |
Salewa97:/ A journey in the wrong direction will lead to the wrong destination. It is not a question of time. / |
/ Ordinary Student Union politics and all of them are already "Distinguished Senators". / |
officialwdhtv:/ Doc: I respect you as a person. You come from a respectful and well-to-do family. But this story doesn't add up. If the story is true, you won't bring it online as a content. Just saying... But go ahead, get more followers. / |
/ I don't understand the protest. We are a religious nation. They should continue fasting and praying. Who knows? Jesus Christ and the angels will come and fix Nigeria. I think Mohammed won't want to be left out also. Pray without ceasing. / |
/ That's for those who think Tinubu won't win again in 2027 because of common hardship, hunger and poverty. Na una dey underestimate our people. They will vote him back in and go back to wailing pro max ![]() I love Nigerians. / |
AmalaAtiEwedu:/ I love it when Nigerians discuss American politics. They know who will make the best President. We are talking about people who consistently choose the best political candidates for themselves. The same people that pick a candidate based on 2 cups of rice, N2k or a bottle of kerosene. Now we know why Nigeria is the best country in the world. ![]() I think it should be a crime punishable by incarceration (for a period not less than 12 months) for any Nigerian living in Nigeria to share any opinions about politics in foreign countries. / |
Fineman2:/ Let the game begin. They will definitely dig up her dirt too--career and relationships especially with Willie Brown. She better be ready to throw banters with Trump because it is going to get dirty. / |
CyrusVI:/ Captain Traore of Burkina Faso doesn't move with such a large convoy and he is still alive. In 2022, Brunei has a GDP per capita of $58,700 while Tanzania has a GDP per capita of $2,600. While you compare and contrast, be sure to do so in the right context. /
|
designking:/ IAMHim1 will beg to differ. He is still reading a textbook written by a professor in Oxford University. I am sure when he is through, he will come out with a rejoinder that subsidy scam is the best thing that has ever happened to Nigeria. / |
IAmHim1:/ Finally someone who understands what's at stake👍🏼 They are tackling the symptoms but not the disease. / |
malali:/ Now do us a favour and list the competition for Dangote Refinery in Nigeria. The secrecy surrounding subsidy payment is a pointer to why Dangote Refinery is being gradually frustrated out of operation. Nigeria is not in short supply of paid pens who justify every atrocities by every regime since 1960. Ever wonder why the country is stuck on a treadmill of motion without movement? I am sure that you have never read the fine prints of open market economy. It did more harm than good to developing nations especially the ones in the 3rd World category. The competition should be among PH, Kaduna, Warri and Dangote refineries. Importers who line their pockets with subsidy scam funds are not healthy competitors. / |
