Politics / Re: Japa: The Future Of Our Youths Not In Europe But In Nigeria – Adesina by InvertedHammer: 11:59pm On Mar 06 |
/ It doesn't help hearing that a caregiver died in UK only to realize that she was a lawyer in Nigeria. Imagine graduating from a university with a law degree, going to Nigerian law school, passing and then only to end up as a caregiver in UK because Nigeria holds no hope for the future. Who will rescue Nigeria since japa seems to be the only hope and aspiration programmed into the brains of the masses? / 1 Like |
Business / Re: Access Bank Funded N50B Contract Awarded To Wigwe's Wife By Abia Government by InvertedHammer: 8:42pm On Mar 06 |
/ What's the big deal? N50bn unsecured loans to execute a contract? If she'd given N100m of that money to the people as charity or giveaways, they would have canonized her. The Daddy G.Os and philanthropists you people hail on a daily basis are doing worse. Why the selective outrage? Why would anyone expect a billionaire in Nigeria to engage in ethical practices in the unlawful entity known as Nigeria? / |

Anambra1stSonTV: / The ones Obiano borrowed during his time, what did he do with it? He left Anambra in shambles and ran back to Texas. The funds that FG borrowed, what did they do with it? I noticed that Awka is looking so much like Dubai as promised by Soludo. Extend my warmest regards to him. Soludo is not the problem, paid sycophants like you are the bane of our society. / 2 Likes |

Politics / Re: Gov Soludo Transformation Of Fegge Onitsha (photos) by InvertedHammer: 1:43pm On Mar 06 |
/ Willie Obiano wasted a lot of funds on his “Willie is working” propaganda. People expected so much from Soludo but instead he towed the path of his predecessor with the silly “Solution “ campaign. However, Gov. Otti is getting a lot of free advertisements, campaign and encomium online and offline with his good works in Abia State. People have eyes. I used to wonder why SE governors don’t patronize Julius Berger to build quality roads that last. Gov Otti has proved that it is doable. / |

/ Paid vuvuzelas are looking for any glimmer of hope to celebrate their delusion. Just few days of minor appreciation in Naira, they will go to town singing. The truth is very glaring--Nigerian economy has been run to the ground by a team of opportunists and ignorant political appointees of Tinubu. Naira cannot be saved by wishful thinking. / 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Warehouse Looting: Hungry People Can't Remove Doors, Windows - Mariya Mahmoud by InvertedHammer: 5:47am On Mar 05 |
/ If 200 Nigerian youths rush into a politician's house, do you think there is enough security to stop them? The reason that the politicians take the people for granted is because they understand that the people are mostly cowards who'd rather die for nothing than fight back. / 2 Likes |

/ Biden needs to go. His scandals make Trump look like a saint. I am glad that blacks have started seeing through the Democratic shenanigans. They are still using the same tactics of emotions over logic to woo blacks just like in Nigeria where everyone is hyperbolically emotional--bring religion and tribalism into a discussion and logic flies out of the window. / 7 Likes 1 Share |

Foreign Affairs / Re: Haiti: 300000 flee capital As Armed Gangs Storm Prison, Free Hundreds Of Inmates by InvertedHammer: 12:40am On Mar 04 |
/ Black people are easily manipulated and divided. Religion did it. Politics is doing it. Even in heaven in afterlife, their section will be riddled with strife and agitations over issues that could be settled diplomatically. It doesn't help that everyone wants to be the Lord. Africa alone has 54 nations. Add others, it will be around 60 black nations in the world give or take. Someone listing progressive ones was only able to name 3 or 4 representing only 6%. Oh well... / |

Most of them when educated, are trained in ways to defend the actions of their Oyibo masters and covertly maintain status quo pre independence. Politics / Re: CBN’s 22.5% Interest Rate Will Worsen Economic Situation – Peter Obi by InvertedHammer: 11:50am On Feb 29 |
/ They don't understand that tightening the interest rate is done when the economy is so good that there is too much money supply in the system leading to runaway inflation. Growth cannot be spurred in a distressed economy by closing the window of borrowing to producers. They should be looking for solution for stagflation (stagnant economy + inflation) and not just inflation. If only some people can get their brains away from textbooks and apply common sense in a homegrown economics, Nigeria will be great. / 2 Likes |
