I hv used about 4 different modems within 2yrs and am fade up wt all ths modems,.my first universal modem just hit a wall while it was plugged in my laptop and then it broked.the second one was a universal one again bt a different manufacturer,i didnt used it up to 2months wen it started disconnecting each time i plugged it in. To cut all the story short,i nw wnt to buy another modem bt wld like u guys to advice me on the best modem to buy.
Should i buy any of the network providers modem and unlock it? And whch type of modem shuld i buy that wl satisfy me? Glo or mtn fastlink? I knw they mostly use hauwei and whch type do u think is the best among the E-series of the hauwei modem.

Get a Glo modem, Its 500bucks cheaper than its rival, emptyhen. Get it unlocked, i've heard of issues with unlocked mtn modems no being able to accept glo sim, but the case is different in the case of Glo modem cos that is what am using, unlocked to all networks _{ofcourse except cdma . . .}

. . . an E72 would do just fine for you as a lady. I've used it, lost it, got it again and am ready to get anytime again. If you need more info on it just google it up. Though its not that flashy but serves way more than it looks.

Got these on a 160GB SSD and am seriously looking for some higher drive.

which modem is glo selling for N5000 (Model of hauwei).This glo modem, is it a 3.6mbs or a 7.2mb. Well that is not actually my stress. I really want to know if this glo modem can be unlocked to use any other networks.
Please if there is someone that has bought it with the said ammount, I desperately want to know if anyone has unlocked a glo modem and used it successfully with other networks.

i bought the glo modem on saturday last week and its the Huawei E156G they're giving out for 5100 (100 for the sim). I've unlocked the modem and its working it MTN, i've not tried any other network apart from the glo and mtn but i know its going to work.

Just get your IMEI to calculate the unlock code and insert it when you put another sim in the modem and that should be all, apart from creating a new profile for every different sim you might want to use on it.

Once those are gone, you're good to go. For now am contemplating paying for mtn bundle cos i've not gotten 3G on glo's sim since but get that steady on mtn's. Just incase there's any more info you guys might need from some1 who has the modem, just drop it on here and i'll be sure to get back to you guys.

But Oga lynxnoon wait oo, shey e go better make person go market buy 7.2mbps universal modem dan to go line-up for their office with driver's license and other kini kini to buy a 3.6mbps modem for 5k !!! I believe say the 7.2mbps for matter no go pass 7k5, me i wan let my phone rest abeg. . .

well the main difference is portability. . . . . e.g when NEPA do their usual thing u can only browse as long as your phone batry can last
Another thing is(. . . and this from experience) phone generally becomes weak and not as durable like b4 (though also seriously depends on how much u stress the phone. . .lol)
Again. . . .there will only be a diference if d phone has a higher modem capability e.g say hsdpa of 7.2mbps or 10mbps compare to a normal modem of 3.6mbps

Glo 5k, i for just dem tempted to get am if to say d thing try small reach 7.2. But guys make we check this thing well, una sure say na d same modem version wey dem dey sell for 8k5 dem begin sell for 5k abi something lower? Trust me guys, that adenuga never recover money wey him throway for him pikin weddin finish oo, less talk of to dash us -3k5 over internet modem even though their counterpart dey bring their prize kom down . . .

I'll be glad to see someone upload the ''Ngames''(that allow you play ngage games on s60v3) for some of us to download . . .
