Av been here since April. Its like I shd pull my hair out. Go with your instincts, cos in may, I went into preterm labour with an infection gone unnoticed. had like 5 docs on my case, even from NICU! No sign, nothing! Just one day mad fever then labour pains! Imagine it happened of I was still in 9ja.

Then the remaining months have been booooooring! Highlight of my weeks is antenatal. Lol

So if she's staying 5mths, she must have her reasons

I had heart burn too and was given gestid, but I was not feeling the taste and I did alot of research on home remedies for heart burn. I stayed away from peppery foods, I ate in small portions, I drank like a small tea cup of warm milk before I started eating, I drank one table spoon of apple cider vinegar + one table spoon of honey mixed with warm water like tea to help my heart burn and indigestion. I think the milk will help with your ulcer too. I use to have it in secondary school and milk was my saving grace. Don't worry soon you will begin to feel better an in my 11th wk and I can say there are good days and bad days just pray for strength and we shall all carry to full term IJN.

okeoghene4real:
Thanks so much. Will be forcing myself to eat from henceforth. Did u experience stomach ulcer and heartburn? My dr recommend Cinetidine tablets for the ulcer but anytime I take d medication, the vomiting intensify. Have stopped using it

My dear I know this feeling oh am also 10 wks plus and my own tiredness us very extreme, sometimes when I am doing my morning devotion I get short of breath, I have to calm down and gain myself back. I complained to my Dr and was told the tiredness can be associated with not eating well. Every time you feel tired try and eat something or drink tea. I have learnt to fight the no appetite thing cause it not helping try and eat something. My Dr said not eating can also make the throwing up to be more cause the acids in the stomach are reacting to no food. Try eat no matter how little if you don't feel better see your Dr.

okeoghene4real:
Good day mamas in the house. Am 10 weeks gone. For the past one week have been experiencing general body weakness couple with loss of appetite. Having been throwing up too.
Is this normal or should I seek medical attention immediately?

I am in PH and it's a private fertility specialist hospital I did my IVF procedure there. I have asked questions, He says it's just their standard/backup procedure. I asked if it was compulsory and he said no but just a back up. I just haven't decided if I want to go on with it or not that's why I am seeking opinions.

Hello house, I have been a silent reader for a very long time, I am 10wks pregnant with triplets. My Dr wants to do a cervical cerclage when I hit the 12 wks mark. Even though I have done a lot of research on this issue is there anyone who has experienced this and what was the reason for the procedure. I have never been pregnant and my hubby and I have been TTC for a while. Pls any explanation or guidance will help thank you.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by iolite88(f): 7:34am On Jun 14, 2015
This your budget is extremely tight and a bit too risky, even without Epidural it's going to be difficult for you to get a hospital in this range. Maybe with plenty of research you can pull it off but you have very little time for that considering you are 34wks. My advice is (1) see if you can increase your funds (2) look for a hospital with a payment plan, I know some people who finished paying their bills spread over 6months after they returned to Naija (3) Please don't be tempted to use Medical Aid just look for an alternative. Good luck.

TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 2 by iolite88(f): 10:06am On May 27, 2015
I don't think you not having a job is a problem, if you are applying for birthing purposes just ensure your husband's statement and your own can cover all your cost. If you are asked about work I don't think there is a crime if you stopped working because of your pregnancy rather than you were let go. As for your name if you have an official change of name thy will ask you what you new legal name is. This happened to me when hubby and I applied. The name on my passport was still my maiden name they collected my husband's passport for his visa that day and gave me 5days to go and change my passport to my new legal name which can only be done in Immigration office Abuja. Also a couple before us were asked why they came from Lagos to do visa application in Abuja and from all indications the guy refused them saying they should reapply in Lagos. So you need to prepare an answer for that.
