Pls what's that home remedy for cough? My 3 month old baby has serious cough nd I'm not sure the drugs they gave us at the hospital is working... the way he coughs scares me, like it chokes him... please

We n cough...lol

Used to do palm oil and sugar. It worked.

Right now its pure ori in a spoon with a pinch of salt.
Put over the fire to melt n probably fry.

Pour into another spoon(plastic)... cool it and give baby to drink.
Its effect is immediate. Like instant
When d cough comes again... i do another dose.
B4 nightfal we can do 5 times. But be sure we wont sleep with cough.

My baby boy has indigestion. He cries a lot at night and he doesn't sleep till day break.

I gave him food (breastfeed) in the morning which he vomitted everything after like two hours, some even came out from his nose. I quickly cleaned him up cos hubby too was scared ( we are first time parent)

Fast forward to the afternoon, I fed him again cos he was crying , immediately he burp, he vomittee everything again.

We noticed he will sleep a little, wake up cry , sleep back, wake up, cry and all that which was very unusual.

We had to take him to the hospital in the evening. The doctor we met examined him after I told her what brought us to the clinic. She touched his tommy and she said my baby is over fed and probably he doesn't burp before he is put to sleep.

She wrote some drugs and my hubby went to get them ......my baby as crying again and I decided to feed him , immediately he burp he vomitted again .

My questions:

Do anyone has that experience
How many hours interval should I breast feed him because I guess whenever he is crying, I would just feed him.

Please don't pass by......help a first time mum.

Well Gripe water to tge rescue.
Gave her 10mil as she was above 6months

Gripe water like every 6 hours or less... same day she was fine after offloading all in her tommy.
Also gave her plenty water 2 drink n it helped too.

That d fire shouldn't be too high so the carrot is absorbed by d oil slowly. It will also aviod burning d carrot.

HOW TO MAKE CARROT OIL
1. Wash and peel the skin of carrots
2. grate it
3. put the grated carrot in a pot.
5. pour in any oil of choice (coconut/olive oil)
6. put the preparation ton low it for 50 minutes to an hour.
7. When the infusion process is completed, pour the carrot oil mixture through a strainer or filter to separate the oil from the carrots.
8. store in the container. The oil can last for up to 6-8 months or more.

HOW TO MAKE COCONUT OIL
1. Break the coconut
2. Drain out the water and bring out the meat
3. Grate the coconut to make it easier to blend.
4. Blend the coconut to be extremely smooth.
5. Squeeze out the shaft in the strainer
6. add some water to the shafts until the shaft is clear from the coconut milk.
7. pour the coconut water in a transparent bucket or container. cover it and leave it for 48 hours.
8. After 48 hours, open the bowl, it will be realized that the oil has solidified. It would be at the top of the coconut milk. ordinary water would be at the bottom.
9. scope out the thick oil into a pot on a low heat and stir for 20 or more minutes depending on the quantity, until the shaft turns brown.
10. filter the oil and put in a jar.

@jazzyjazz abt d interview thing, I also went for one when my baby was barely 3months old, it was hurrible as I have never failed an interview bf..It was like the interviews done at Shell. Although am still applying cos I need to practice what I studied.

Lil advice, in case d issue of y u want to leave your baby and work. Tell them u need to put your brain into use and u never like been idle. Let them c u as a hard-working person... Never mention state of d economy. And y u left your former place, tell them it's cos u needed to do something more challenging, that u were no longer learning anything new so u needed job change and also for greener pasture.

My dear you can restock molfix oo, never actually queried it until now. My kids never ever had diaper rash, infact I use vaseline for their bum and it's with this same molfix, in the past one month now it's been crazy, and it's even raining season so no reason for rash if not for the diaper cause.
