Hello everyone, I'm 20weeks gone and I'm officially registering as #teamNovember, I've nt had any MS so far, in fact I eat anything palatable, even b4 I started showing dh was doubting my pregnancy saying I connived with d doctor to extort money from him! Funny!! As a ftm, and considering my age, (a little over 20) I'm surprisingly ready for delivery, I dnt knw where d energy is coming from, I'm nt scared one bit. I already have a workout plan of how everything will go, I will practically give birth myself, lol, because I already have those nurses in mind, I won't allow them to push me around.
Let me share some of my plans:
I'm going to be on my feet and start walking immediately I feel contraction or see mucus plug
No going to d hospital no matter how strong d contraction is except if my water breaks early, or if I'm 5mins apart, reason is I feel dat wen dey start inserting hand every hour it causes more pain.
No doctor is going to keep me on d bed, wen it's time to push I pray baba God give me d strength to be on my feet, gravity can help.
My MIL, mum and husband are just making jest of me saying wen labour comes I won't even remember all these. Last week dey forced me to one iya alagbo (traditional) house, dat one was just pressing my stomach anyhow, if u see how I vex for dem saying d mama want to dent my baby's head.
Mama zaynie I go register ooo, just cool ur mind.

No Sunday went without my milo + milk on the rocks....about 2L of it....every Sunday.
I had a 3.1kg baby ( not big at all) with tear + episiotomy.
That was my 2nd child but the first one via my jajaina.
Countless women have had bigger babies with no single tear.
I used to be so scared of tear o! Running round this thread shouting "my yansh o!" Lol!
It came and healed in a week.
Even when I was cut, it was sharp and brief.
I honestly believe he wouldnt have cut me if I had been calm earlier on in the labour room cos he hesitated with the scissors but calm and I parted ways the minute I was on 7cm , by the time I was 10cm for up to 2hours?! I murdered calm .

Find calm and maybe you can escape the scissors.

Me I even thought it was surgical knife.

Scissors that may be blunt o and they have to use it several times.

Mitchy. I felt the tear has to do with the tightness of the hoohaa entrance.
I am also so scared.
Finger penetration is a big deal belente rod.... o Then now head of baby? If it's pelvis. I have a wide one but the entrance to hoohaa is very tiny

Mamas please shed more light.
Sebi it's entrance that they tear na.... Abi is it pelvic that determine the tear?

That's the spirit dear. There are so many women praying to spit like you as long as they can have a baby. Dont let anything make you feel ashamed of yourself. I started spitting from 7weeks or so. I'm 36weeks and still spitting. I also have that annoying mucous that comes to my throat. I always keep disposable cup beside my bed for the spit. But ive learnt to deal with it. Who i wan complain give? Its not easy to grow a human in your body for 9 months.
So if the spitting like, make e continue till i deliver, na im sabi.

The eba one works for me always.
Very small eba n one at a time.

2nd trimester is sweet o.
Only that it depends on when your body adjusts.
Mine adjestested in 17th week.
Right now, am so strong ehn, even dh is scared for Me.

The only complaint I have is dat mucus drop into my throat from my nostrils so am always spitting it out.

Infact I cried this afternoon when I told dh we should go to the movies.
Oga said I would embarrass him there.
That I will be pouring spit in public or using tissue..

The words pierced through my heart like a double edged sword.
It's so hurtful.
After ttc. And he is already saying am irritating him.
God

Won't let him see me cry sha... It's painful.
I am thinking of going to d hospital to help with the constant mucous but as it is now. Will carry my thing with pride n spit as I like.
Anybody that can't cope should swerve. Am not going to be bothered.
My body is growing a life n am proud n happy.

Chio. Just 20weeks plus and my lo is showing me signs of Daddies little girl or boy.
When dh is beside me snooring thats when I start feeling constant kicks. Hian.
Abi na the noise..... It more when he places a hand or leg on any part of my body.
Most times, I just carry my belly run make I for rest. Lol.

Someone quoted something about being d 6th month when Elizabeth saw Mary n the child in her jumped for joy.

Devil comes between ttc couples during fertile period... Let's try to avoid every form of annoyance.
Ttc taught me that even the slightest misunderstanding can make my dh hostile for weeks.
I learnt how to quickly quench a quarrel.
So quick that it shocks him, I just playfully say see how u look wen angry n it ends.
Ttc also taught me that we must not follow the calendar or expect everything to be as it is in d books.
Ttc also taught me to follow my instinct n carry hubby along
Ttc taught me that we are two in this thing n we have to do it together. So I try to explain things to dh n talk things over with him.

Some things I did.
I hugged a colleague who got married same time as me immediately she resumed from maternity and didn't know when I loudly said "ah, let me tap blessings o, so I van go for maternity leave too" I heard Amen from like six people that's when I knew what I said. This was in January.

I carried a little girl in January too and she pied on me. And I said Amen o and even dashed her money for peeing on me...lol.

I make it s point of duty to buy gift for kids around. New babies. Birthday celebrations and colleagues kids. Intact there was a day I went to the market n walked from Martins Street in balogun to the inner part of dosumu (Docemo) to buy gift for kids.... This was during Christmas shopping. I was exhausted and that was d day I knew the dosumu intoto.
That day I bought a toy for my baby and always play with it.... This type u press n hear d whistling sound (not up to 200#). Even hubby started pressing it for me if I don't in two days. He was laughing at me when I told him it was for baby, but when he saw I didn't care about his laughs. He joined.

Am just saying this to encourage us.

God in his infinite mercies would give us babies in Jesus name. Amen

I uses to weight 70kg o was saying am overweight as bmi suggests 65kg.

I later saw 72,75,77,82,87,90,then 98kg.

Wat can I do to be 70kg again?

I can't imagine the joy when I will be even 77kg again.
Healthy, shapy n happy.

@iomoge, I've been in your shoes for two days now. Just like me, I think you are experiencing a red degeneration of fibroid. The pain is out of the world haven't slept well in 2 days now.
Hopefully the pain will go away soon. I was prescribed sabutamol and nifedipine. I also took paracetamol injection and tablets.

If it's thus painful, I just wonder what labour will be like

God help us.
Mine is even moving upandan and making sounds.
Crazy sh... It.
Last scan showed a covering. Doctor then said it's not having enough blood supply as baby is taking all it should have...
Can't wait for this to be over.

Give your self the minimum 6months but u can start kpekus as soon as you are ready.
I would also advise u treat the root cause of this gestational diabetes before trying again.
I don't know if there is something you can do.
Or if u need to lose weight or something.

Maybe u can read up.
Cos I believe that's why baby was removed earlier.
If u can share here or speak to someone privately.

U need to deal with the root cause during this wait.

May the Lord console hubby and give u two strength for one another.
Children are coming.

Pendulucated fibrriod is a biacth.
The one in me is restless n going all over.
Right now it's beneath my ribs n making sounds.

I am in pains.
High on diflofenac still it persists.
Taking injection still.
It's growing rapidly.

Has doubled in size n to say I found out I had it in January n that was my lmp.

Dunno Wat to do again
