This story requires proper analysis. First Things first. It's obvious that the internet isn't particularly a believable or trustworthy place. It's up to each of us to use rational and informed thinking to decide what's reasonable and what's not. This piece mentions the following about the noxious substance " mixed a deadly, colorless, tasteless, odorless substance with my lotion, smeared it gently on my breast, rubbed it on my vagina, put some on my lips: I coated every part of my body I knew he enjoyed putting his mouth and tongue on, and watched him swallow every bit of his own saliva, mixed with the substance" First, there are a limited number of poisonous substances that would act so quickly to lead to his death as she said it occurred "I poisoned my first husband, and watched him die in our bedroom, painfully" The above gives the impression that this happened within the very same lovemaking session. The skin (dermis, epidermis) absorbs substances depending on their concentration and formulation. This principle is why skin ointments are effective for certain skin conditions, and why nicotine patches are recommended for addicts looking to quit smoking. It also applies to a host of drugs administered through the skin/the transdermal route. And this is just for the skin. There are other body surfaces mentioned here. The LIPS, the nipples, and the vagina. These surfaces have several things in common. Mucosal and submucosa. Drug absorption through the mucosal surfaces is an even more reliable route than the skin, this is brought to bear in certain medications like nitroglycerine for heart conditions, and a range of other drugs including several erectile dysfunction medications. It is a dependable route. Any women in labour who have been asked to keep medications under their tongue or in the mouth and not swallow them, understand how effective mucosal drug absorption is. The same mucosal principle applies to the vagina, which has even more blood vessels, making absorption through that route equally or more effective. The nipples also absorb medications. Any women who've breastfed and experienced cracked nipples would appreciate the relief that comes from using certain analgesic ointments applied directly to the nipples when not producing breastmilk (within the treatment duration.) As a matter of fact, ongoing research aims to produce medications for administration via the nipples into the milk ducts for certain conditions. Then there's the most important part of these explanations. You may notice that in the above examples, the drug passed directly into the woman's systemic circulation? Drugs that do this are effective within seconds to minutes. Which is why in emergencies nobody offers tablets. Strictly injections and other systemic modes of drug delivery. However the man in question is said to have swallowed the poison mixed with his saliva. This means that the drug would have to be ingested and then metabolized and absorbed by his organs BEFORE the effects are felt. This is even when we may assume that a small amount got into his system via some mouth injuries and his oral mucosa. In conclusion, this is a contrived story, intended to titilate the audience. From the above, it would be EXTREMELY UNLIKELY for the woman to survive even long enough for the man to ingest enough of the poison to have any effect. |
deeonlyme:Oh, and I'd encourage you to ignore my posts. Do the needful and I will not be within 10 feet of your threads. The interested parties come on here, read these posts and make their decisions based on them. That's exactly the point. |
It's ironic that it's just the shady dealers and their lackeys who have complained bitterly about my 'service to human ity'. The very people who you've placed these adverts here for simply applaud being provided with the relevant information. I hope you sell all the vehicles you possibly can, but as long as you decline to disclose information about your merchandise, I will continue to assist where and when I can. |
deeonlyme: ![]() Unfortunately for you this is a public forum. The moderators have decided to turn a blind eye to people like you failing to disclose the history of your accidented and repaired vehicles, so I just assist the interested parties where I can. You've totally misunderstood my intentions, which says something about YOUR intentions. If you did actually read any of those other threads, you'd see that I've never discouraged those vehicles from being sold. I merely encourage the sellers to do their due diligence and disclose the full history of their vehicles. I in turn have some advice for you 1. Man up and do the right thing by letting interested parties in your merchandise know it's true history...or someone will. People with even worse damage to vehicles than yours have disclosed the state before and after repairs. 2. As long as your posts are on this public forum, 'your' business, is mine, and everyone else's business. Which you know, as that's why you've even made the advert here. 3. If being grown means failing to point out shady practices when I see them...then may I remain a Benjamin Button. |
domack99:No, actually. I didn't know that. I do know it's better to use clear figures and terms, for clarity sake and to avoid confusion. |
AirunukhoenOare:
|
domack99:This mileage though... We'll assume you made a mistake. Because in km the current mileage is at least 268,000. Had my suspicions about the moisture around the floors, but I'm glad I was wrong.
|
diportivo: ![]() Well this one had very negligible damage.
|
The infamous trident. |
Interested parties should note the vehicle history and the last official accurate mileage. |
Well, I can certainly be of some assistance.
|
This appears to be the same vehicle as in https://www.nairaland.com/4063956/2008-toyota-rav4-sport-tokunbo Please respond to the inquiry. |
RoyalRufai:It would be better to have the information here, for any interested parties. Thank you. |
I think you should make this information available on the advert for other interested parties. Thanks |
gwmlogistic:Like I said, you can continue to hide the VIN. Your time will certainly come. |
Just saying. |
In addition, is there some kind of loss you incur if you provide the VIN? I fail to see how providing the VIN would make you lose sales or clientele. Unless of course There are things you need hidden that the VIN would expose. Any honest salesman provides all the information needed to effect a sale and encourage sales. |
gwmlogistic:Oh, you're not providing anything for me. That's where you're wrong. It's for the rest of this forum. If you intend to hide something about your vehicle, then sure, go ahead. Your time will come. |
gwmlogistic:It's really simple, if there are any issues with your vehicle, disclose them. Don't misrepresent or hide facts about a vehicle or its history just to make a sale. I'm not accusing you of anything, just so we're clear. But have you checked pretty much every other auto sale forum or website? VIN disclosures are the standard. It's here that it's clearly the exception. If you have nothing to hide, post the VIN. Or you think that somehow your car can be damaged or adversely affected if you post the VIN here? |
deeonlyme:Hello Thank you, but you didn't respond to the question about the accidented status. |
Hello there. |
You haven't found anyone willing to pay 260,000 for this vehicle in 2 years? |
computerglobal:Part of the information that needs to be provided. The VIN can clarify that. |
Dprince1159: ![]() |
tygar:Perhaps you should spend just a little bit of time on Google and educate yourself on the issues. Then you wouldn't make these rather Ill informed remarks. |
babestella:You should do basic investigation for a moniker advertising vehicles for sale here. These pastor*****1 monikers are all fraudulent. |
I'm sure other people here would want to have the same information. I think you should post it here with your advert. There's really nothing to lose with full disclosure. Thank you. |
jeffdaniel:I see. Well I hope you fully disclosed the accidented history of this car, and the true mileage to this buyer. |
deeonlyme:Hello, nice car. Was this in an accident and repaired? Could you post the VIN and a photo of the odometer displaying the current mileage? Thank you. |
Kingsoul1:I was about to respond with a post about rudeness, among other basic life lessons, then I looked through your posts and I realized that you're attempting to apply to a federal university via JAMB DE with forged OND results, though you've claimed it's for a 'friend', and that apparently you're writing JAMB for the 4th time after leaving secondary school in 2015. I completely understand your frustration bro. I will refrain from replying you and worsening your already bleak life situation. I hope things get better for you. Soon too. |
