I was employed as a security guard at a leather factory through a private security company 4months ago but this company never pays me as they said the factory owner did not pay them . But recently I learnt that the factory owner had been paying them.

I went to the office on Friday to confront them about the issue n also told them I will resign. They asked me to wait till today Monday so they'll forward my issue to their head office to get sorted out.

So I went to the office today, they told me I'll only get one month salary today till when they finally sorted it out then they'll pay me the remaining 3months at the same time.

I said, okay no problem. but the thing that pains me so much is that these heartless entities deducted 6k out of 10k salary n left me took home only 4k. They deducted Five thousand naira for uniform which were never given to us n one thousand naira for audio application form fee respectively.

I returned home dejected, despair n feeling defeated with so many things running on my head. It's really paining me right now feeling like to go n burn their office n kill them all or arrange to kidnap them.

Another thing that I discovered is that the factory owner pay my company 20k but they'll pay me 10k. but one thing that always motivated me is that the factory owner usually buys me food n drinks, sometimes even tips me 500 naira. So I feel like I was just saving my salary I'll cash out later whenever they paid me but it end up in tears, anger n gnashing of teeth.

Ladies and gentlemen I want your candid advice on how to go about this issue please. Should I go ahead and sue them to pay me my remaining salary or ask the factory owner to avoid the company n pays me directly since he
likes me?

This is the true meaning of our govt has failed us
we have labor ministry or labor congress or whatever that should manage these kind of problems
court too far na , when they look into it and fine the company for pain and suffering then pay you + all the pain and late fees etc etc , that 50k will be looking like 50m , companies will stop this rubbish

A private school called me for an interview last week Monday. As a job hunter I'm always prepared for any interviews. So when I got there, It's was a 3 segments interview (written test, oral and micro teaching)

As a Bsc graduate in Accounting Education, I was given financial accounting, English language and current affairs for the written test interview. The account and English was WAEC standard questions. After the written test interview, the principal said he will call me for further interviews if i pass the test.

On Thursday morning, I received a call from the school inviting me for further interviews which is oral and micro teaching. When I got there, the principal was asking me loads of questions like why should I hire you? How many years experience do you have? How do you discipline a child? how can you make this school grow? Can we trust you with our female students? bla bla bla... After that we went to the classroom for the final segment which was micro teaching.


After everything, he employed me and we started discussing about the subject I will teach and the salary. The principal said I will be teaching Accounting, Economics and Marketing (ss1 - ss3), I said no problem.

What really got me angry was about the salary, he said he's willing to pay me 30k without negotiation.

As if that wasn't enough, he later said he can also call me anytime to teach any subject if the particular subject teacher isn't around. I was just laughing in my mind.

The principal was expecting me to resume today, he has been calling me since morning, I haven't picked his calls. I'm not a slave.

Mind you, this is a standard private school and my "least" expectation was 45k, Assuming he was willing to pay 45k, I would have resumed today.

Why are private schools so wicked? Is teaching job now a modern day slavery? I'm tired of this country.

1. when buying a new phone check the phone website to know if they have that phone in new or refurbished
in your case iphonexs max is not available new anywhere in the world , you can get refurbished or put together phones but new is impossible as its no longer manufactured

he dicked me around for days after collecting almost 2m
I contacted the security agents after days they called him and he adjusted accordingly

gave the job to someone else and container was out in 2 days
get the job from him asap and get your container out

I have been using the same agent now for almost 2 yrs and not a hiccup , only thing is I try to check prices here and there before finalizing with him , but thats it

Babajide will get whats coming to him, its karma,

The way to resolve this is to collect the job from Babajide and get someone to finish it , container has to be out asap
Jan 2nd is a long time , even counting grace period to get container out
he has spent the monies , no point complaining over spilled milk
The funny thing is they are good ppl that do the work, they really work.. for me Babajide was a stepping stone,
now I dont even have to be in naija for goods to be cleared , it happens like clockwork with a good person.

from what I get from the info is the car was bought from the auction in LA by a dealer and fixed hoping to sell, it didnt sell and dealer took it back to auction and current owner bought it. It wasnt fixed in naija.
however pls let the world know the history of the car , let it not look like ppl are spoiling your business.
they arent just giving prospective buyers information on the car. plus its a 2018

drivers drive

when your negligence is called out take it in good faith
good or bad , criticism is good and helps

however as a dealer you can get the unlimited vinchecks monthly

you cannot make 3-5m profit on one car and expect ppl not to call it out , its just wrong . its all still corruption one way or the other.

This is why local dealers in Nigeria dont give warranty

somebody will buy your car no doubt , what ppl are saying is dont mislead anyone, it is wrong

naija mechanics do what favors them , they do what they know , so dont blame the advise given

The car you driving has gone through R&D to be built, the testing and development is crazy when these companies build these cars, dont blame the weather , naija is not hotter than the UAE , so its not the heat or the traffic.
changing anything that does not enhance your vehicle is just a waste of money in the long run

you should buy the replacement radiator for your car
use coolant for honda cars not water ,..............coolant
do not remove anything
replace what is broken in the car and enjoy your life
remember you pay to play , so you buy cheap knock off you get exactly that
its better to buy a used replacement than buying a knock off
and even if your car has 3-20 cells and the fans are always on from now till forever , it will just be a band aid till u get a broken engine
remember when the car is overworking , i.e fan always on, no thermostat etc , fuel consumption drops , engine life drops , engine that is supposed to last at least till 400k will knock or start burning oil before 200k
