TheSuperNerd: Jude Nworuh is at Chennaiyin FC in the Indian Super League. Played for Midtjlland as far back as 2011.
And you are so right about bad agents palava. Really killing lots and lots of potentially great careers.
I am sorry to hear of what happened to a guy from your area. Life contracts are reality even till date... they make the players slaves and most times these players don't even understand the contracts to which they append their signatures. Really sad. But it is well... our players and young talents must be protected. A database of our footballers and rising talents cut across the breadth and length of the country must be created to at least monitor the movements of various talents.... and the database must be updated regularly with new players and also with players transfers and more... it can be done but mediocrity and laziness is the bane of the Nigerian nation and African continent. We all wish for Greatness but most do not even strive for it... they just talk it but don't walk it. Pathetic.
Let's move on shaa... it is well. I concur... It seems Jude Nworuh form has declined. Jude was very young wen he left for Europe, he was someone I see regularly( At Rocky Fc) here at okota playground along Ibeh road( the same field Emenike started his futbal career). that guy is a rare talent I swear. That their team was a complete team which comprises one Ifeanyi( Baggio) a former Enyimba, heartland and the Home based Se team Dat came 3rd at d wafu cup( I tink) and Oke who played for d guinea national team. I cant remember his full name, but he took all d pk for d home based eagles then, and I don't know which club he plays for now. |

TheSuperNerd: Definitely was one of the top 5 players at that World cup... I rate him more highly than Iheanacho and Success when it comes to Individual Technical abilities as a player based on that U-17 performance and I hope he can come big in the end.
And yeah his "drop-of-the-shoulder" feint move and iniesta-like turns are always mouth watering and orgasmic to view....
Well... he has been at Portimonense on loan from Porto last season and gave a fine account of himself in their colors. Now he is with Porto B and getting games too. Five appearances made so far clocking 215 mins in all but no goals and no assists. That's good to know...he's very skillful too. In d Op I saw something like Rwb, he has been converted to a defender I guess? |

TheSuperNerd: Onuachu Fires Midtjylland To Top Of Danish Super League By James Agberebi
https://i1.wp.com/www.completesportsnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/onuachu-paul-scores-for-.jpg
Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu was the hero for his team Midtjylland as he scored the only goal in their 1-0 away win against Soenderjyske in the Danish top flight on Friday. Onuachu struck in the 73rd minute to secure the win and took Midtjylland to five straight wins.
Also in action for Midtjylland was his teammate Rilwan Hassan who was on from the start before going off on 20 minutes with what looked like an injury.
Midtjylland now top the league table on 25 points, two above second-placed FC Nordsjaelland who will host bottom team Randers on Saturday.
Onuachu has now scored seven goals in eight league appearances this season.
Also, his goal against Soenderjyske was his third in his last four games for Midtjylland.
Source: https://www.completesportsnigeria.com/onuachu-fires-midtjylland-top-league/ This is a great feat... where is Jude Nworuh a former player of midtjylland? That guy was a gud player then, but had a bad agent... I dont know most of dis agents like killing young talents future for their selfish interest. That was how they took one promising football from my area to Uruguay nd signed a life contract for him without his consent. |

TheSuperNerd: Fit Again Musa Yahaya Joins FC Porto First Team In Training Ahead Cup Game

Highly rated Nigerian forward Musa Yahaya was among the players of the B team of Portuguese giants FC Porto called up to the training of the first team ahead of this weekend Cup game against Lusitano FC.
Yahaya has grown into a very influential member of the B team, where he is distinguishing himself as a right wing-back as opposed to his well known position from the left or right of attack.
He got injured after 35 minutes in a second division game for the B team against CD Nacional which they won 2-1, although he played for 85 minutes in their next league game , a 2-1 win against Cova Piedade , he suffered a relapse and missed the 4-1 win against Academico Viseu.
Now back to full fitness, he is heavily tipped to play for the first team tomorrow when they take on Lusitano in a Portuguese Cup game as Porto are expected to rest some of their regulars.

TheSuperNerd: Yeah.... exactly... Just as we had in 2015, 2013 and then 2011 too.... in the pre-MRI era we still had players like KANU, Babayaro, Sammy Osei Kuffour (played U-20 too), and more who has long soccer careers meaning they were really young also at the age a grade comps like U-17 and U-20. So the MRI era is doing great things for cadet football worldwide and I pray it is sustained.
Nigeria have been one of the greatest Beneficiaries of this MRI Era even... and I hope we keep tapping into its positives for our football from the grassroots. I expect to see a better and stronger Nigeria U-17 side ahead of the start of the qualifiers for the 2019 CAF and FIFA tournaments especially with Finidi George likely to be officially confirmed as the new head coach of the team. I hope he builds on and goes even further than what the likes of Many Garba, Nduka Ugbade and Emmanuel Amuneke achieved at U-17 level for Nigeria... unearthing an enviable great number of super young talents many of which didn't even make the U-17 Worlds and some of which made the U-17 Worlds....
Preps for the U-17 CAF qualifiers should start by either late this year or early next year under Finidi's wings and I trust he will do a great job. I admired your passion for Nigeria nd Africa's talents. |

TheSuperNerd: Ike Uche Delighted With Brace In Gimnastic Win By Johnny Edward
https://i2.wp.com/www.completesportsnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Ike-Uche.jpg
Former Super Eagles striker Ikechukwu Uche is pleased to have scored a brace for Gimnàstic Tarragona in Wednesday’s 2-0 home win over his former team Granada in the Spanish second division at the Nou Estadi de Tarragona Stadium, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

TheSuperNerd: Well such may be the case for some but not all... I cannot vouch much for the authenticity of the ages of those young stars during the Pre-MRI era (MRI era began 2011 in full but was test run randomly in 2009)..... but I also know that a young player can lose his way if not properly managed and nurtured. African Kids face a lot of challenges adapting to and growing up in a foreign land when not under proper guidance and that can adversely affect their football growth and stunt their talents devt. It happened even to Europeans and South Americans. Read about Leandro Depertris and you will see and understand something extra...
Some of Brazil's and Spain's talents and even Europeans from the U-17s didn't also match expectations... so it is not limited to Africans.
All continents are guilty of same. Daz true sha... check d current India u17 at d ongoing tournament, they too young. |

TheSuperNerd: Dominic Adiyiah played at the 2009 U-20 World cup winning the Golden boot with 8goals and Golden ball also as the best player. He went on to play for Ghana at the 2010 Fifa WC. But after that, he also went downhill from there... Ghana still see the impact of The likes of Emmanuel Badu and Andre Ayew from that class but Adiyiah is long forgotten now.
But Ishmael Addo is different, he played at the 1999 U-17 Fifa World cup.... he is different from Adiyiah and the article was restricted to U-17 alone. And he too shone by winning the Golden boot back then at U-17. I get it now, d 1999 was referring to Addo not Dominic Adiyiah. but serious, it seems like those guys our u17/u20s who flopped after d jnr tournament were only doing well at those tournament, because they played against their younger brothers. Just my opinion... |

TheSuperNerd: African U-17 World Cup wonderkids who never realised their potential By Ed Dove, KweséESPN
Unfortunately, Africa's starlets of the U-17 World Cup haven't always realised their potential at senior level.
Too often, a star turn at the biennial youth tournament has represented a premature career highlight for precocious talents who never managed to translate their qualities to senior level.
Unlike those African superstars who introduced themselves to a global audience at the World Cup before going onto build stellar careers in Europe, this quartet will forever be remembered as child prodigies whose trajectories stuttered.
Souleymane Coulibaly: Once upon a time, Coulibaly was hailed as the 'New Didier Drogba' after an outstanding showing at the U-17 World Cup in 2011. He scored nine goals in four games - including an outstanding against Brazil - as the Ivorians reached the Round of 16. The forward picked up the Golden Shoe at the competition for his contributions in front of goal, and subsequently earned a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
However, while the likes of Gareth Bale and Harry Kane established themselves as top-tier talents after arriving at Spurs as youngsters, Coulibaly's progress more closely mirrored the fortunes of Tomas Pekhart or Mbulelo Mabizela, neither of whom realised their potential.
It's not all over for Coulibaly, now 22, as he attempts to revive his career at Al-Ahly after stints with Kilmarnock, Peterborough United, and Newport County among others.
However, after fleeing Egypt for England earlier in the year - complaining of ill treatment in Cairo - the striker's current standing is a world away from what was once anticipated for him.
Macauley Chrisantus had the world at his feet back in 2007, when he top-scored at the U-17 World Cup as Nigeria picked up their third title.
His showings during the tournament in South Korea - notably scoring five in three group-stage matches - reportedly attracted interest from teams of the calibre of Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, and duly, some eyebrows were raised when he opted for Hamburg.
Perhaps, one could reason, that the German club would offer him a quicker route to the first team than some of his other more heavyweight suitors.
Chrisantus himself was optimistic, and later blamed the club's significant turnover of managers - 10 in six years - as the key reason for his stagnation. He netted 20 goals in 67 appearances with Las Palmas, and recently joined up with compatriot Suleiman Omo at Greek side PAS Lamia 1964 following a trial at Wisla Krakow.
Ishmael Addo looked set to become Ghana's next attacking sensation - following in the footsteps of Abedi Pele and Tony Yeboah - when he won the Golden Shoe at the 1999 U-17 World Cup, becoming the fourth African player to clinch the award.
Alongside the likes of Michael Essien and Razak Pimpong, he struck seven as Ghana finished third, and turned on the style during the latter stages of the competition as he netted four in three knockout games.
The fleet-footed Addo won a quintet of Ghanaian titles at Hearts of Oak, and retains the record for the most single goals in a Ghanaian top flight season after scoring 22 in the 2000-01 campaign.
His achievements on home soil and at the U-17 World Cup in Argentina were never replicated during the rest of his club career, as things petered out in Israel after a promising start to life with Maccabi Netanya.
His meteoric rise and subsequent toil were replicated - a decade later - by another Ghanaian wonderkid, Dominic Adiyiah, who's still to truly demonstrate the class he showed at the U-20 World Cup in 1999 on a consistent basis.
Nii Lamptey memorably dazzled spectators at the 1991 event in Italy as Ghana clinched the title, and was once tipped by Pele as his successor.
During the youth-team showpiece, he outshone the likes of Alessandro Del Piero and Juan Sebastian Veron and appeared set for a long and glittering career at the pinnacle of the game. Indeed, for the Black Stars, the prospect of Lamptey lining up alongside Abedi Pele was a mouth-watering prospect. However, after being smuggled to Europe after being passed off as the son of Nigeria legend Stephen Keshi, Lamptey's career declined.
He struggled to adapt to life in England after starring in Belgium, and later explained how a combination of exploitative agents, the loss of his support network and unrealistic expectations prompted his downfall.

TheSuperNerd: William Agada sparks interest from top Israeli clubs after goal-scoring debut by ScoreNigeria Admin
Ex-Mighty Jets striker William Agada is already the target of top Israeli clubs Maccabi Tel Aviv and Kiryat Shmona after he scored twice on his official debut for KATAMON Jerusalem at the weekend.
His agent, Dudi Ouziel of Medav Sport Scouting Agency, told SCORENigeria top striker Agada shone on his official debut soon after he clocked 18.
“He scored two goals on his official debut, was the best player on the pitch and now every game at least two scouts from different top clubs are watching him,” said Ouziel.
“He scored six goals in four friendly matches before he turned 18.
“Many top clubs like Maccabi Tel Aviv and Kiryat Shmona are talking about him.
“I do not see him staying at his club for long.”
The agent added: “The boy is a super player and I expect him to soon play for Nigeria U20 team.
“He’s very strong and has great ball control.”
Agada was leading scorer at Mighty Jets this past NNL season with seven goals.
He was scouted by Manna Abba Nasir ‘Sergio’, who is based in Bauchi.

A Polytechnic graduate took to Facebook to celebrate after writing her final exams but she made a blunder that has given her post attention.
Sharing a photo of herself and coursemates, she wrote: "I come I came and I concer".
Obviously, she meant "I came, I saw, I conquered". She will not be the first to make such a mistake. Just a month ago, a university graduate while rejoicing after writing his final exams also made a similar blunder. Is this a sign that something is seriously wrong with the education system in Nigeria?

Before I could speak or act, I was completely judged as dull and not intelligent to their standard. it was hard to admit me into ss3 if not for my report card shown in the ministry of education of the state. i proved every single one of them wrong because I beat their "asses" off. that actually gave me my respect and they never looked at me the same again! what I am trying to say here is that we need to dust ourselves up. we need to enlighten and educate our people. most of us and the ones they interact with are the illiterates. Few that are educated feel like gods in the north( you all dare not deny that) just knowing how to speak a little English we tend to mock our mates that can't. we stay in the majalis and out of our ten sentences, eight are mixed with English words to prove we know it. ( all for what please?) how many of you here have stood to make sure that children in your areas are educated? what effort have you made to enlighten your parents? how many immediate family member's life have you changed to make them adapt to the fast moving world? They( southerners) have to mock us because we don't actually learn but show off. I have cousins that are in school but trust me they are worst than illiterates; why because they behave in a funny way. ----to them being educated means wearing jeans and shirt and taking pictures to post on Facebook with terrible spellings as status ----it means having pipe beside you with smoke oozing out. ---- it means carrying your parents cars to hang around in schools while lectures are going on ---- it means mocking others that ain't like you( to them " ba su waye ba" etc. we need education more than any fight online with anybody. because if you improve your community, others will follow suit to respect. Forgive me i have offended anyone. I didn't mean to. This is a killer by @dinak1 One girl even asked me to defined " English." |

Shortyy: Kip kwayet! You're the one that needs help. Don't compare the massacre of innocent civilians by the army with a killing of an individual. Besides every state in naija dey kill themselves. I'm not condoning that, but the matter we're discussing here is different. Yorubas wey dey use themselves for rituals nko? Abeg na different matter be this. I'm not of invading a state and massacring their people for no reason. See u-turn From denying it totally to; "Don't compare the massacre of innocent civilians by the army with a killing of an individual. " |
