All the corruption and looting and foolishness of Goodluck - OK I know you liked GEJ before sha and you said he was a nice man and maybe even voted for him in 2011. Anyway, daddy really doesn't like Buhari and I wanted to get more into it with him but didn't have the time. He was just [i]po she[/i]ing about the man. He said he's a fundamentalist and he curtailed civilian rule and our independence in the past and he cannot now say he's for democracy. But I suspect maybe it's due to him being allied with Tinubu's party. I know he doesn't like crooked Tinubu but Buhari isn't Tinubu now. He's his own man. What's daddy's problem with him?

I received a precious gift of some time ago, but due to my life being a roller-coaster ride for many many months, I didn't have the time to really enjoy the gifts. I don't want to give too much away yet.

I figure we can separate the wheat from the chaff and see if any of these know-alls around here know what these pictures represent.

I know two people that will definitely know what they are. . .when they were made . . .how much they sold for . . .what their true meanings are to Naija culture etc etc.

What she is referring to happened over 2 years ago on a charity thread, the only ONE post I made to Perx stated she was not a suitable candidate for surgery because she has Fibromyalgia that no reputable hospital would operate on her, etc...people jumped on me telling me to shut up, get out of the thread, etc...never mind the fact that Perx's response to me included "thanks busybody"...PERX DIED...people now later came to post that I should have been allowed to talk...(see below)


Now I try to talk about the hospital in DJ's case but got antagonised and was told to shut up by same oam4j people who said I should have been allowed to talk in Perx' case...I don't understand human beings anymore and would have given up on them if not for God...

Well, Nigerians love anything the White man likes, since the time of the lying missionaries and the 90s wave of American Evangelical movement till now, Naijas have taken to the born-again movement like club soda to coca-cola syrup. So, you will not get too many open minds on this topic; mostly invectives and mud-flinging.

My take: I'm not sure the person known as Jesus was invented however. He may have lived, but the legend created around him undoubtedly was almost all myth.

BTW, speaking of myth. . .these people will stone you if you dare to tell them to consider the creation myth of their own ancestors for a change.

Despite the fact that int he past you did have African-Americans displaying some level of interest in African cluture and designs, the first thing that came to my mind was "I wonder if that's a Naija artist. . ."
