How many match did he played at the Olympics?

Humility017:

you mean same dude I watched in last Olympic games....
?
we still have kayode,Paul and dessers who have not been called yet....
these three players I believe are miles ahead of ajayi....

Junior is on the list he's a nigerian

FAMILY247:
Who else notice that in Africa player of the year category -base in Africa, nobody from Nigeria is there and that really speak volume of the poor quality of the Nigeria premier league.

Call back enyeama simple

Chrismario:
Oga ,,,,,perrotti dae try post but he no dae score like that.

Forget about super eagles material. They are the best we have to offer.

mma onye nwere k'oji ana aka.

I think junior ajayi should be given a chance if nwakaeme is not up to standard afterall the Egyptian league better than the isreali league and also someone just get a call up in backwater league in norway

He was tested against cameroon away he failed woefully and cost us 2 precious point

Icon79:
So even if we take your word for it that he wasn't tested in any of those 3 games, mind you, how does that justify your assertions that he's not an Egus Material? Is it his fault that he wasn't tested??

Anyway, if he wasn't tested against Cameroun and Zambia, don't worry he would soon get tested. I am confident that he would be tested by the Argies, even without Messi, they still pack a lot of firepower on the attack.

O pari

Are u comparing ezenwa to enyeama ?

safarigirl:
and what is Super Eagles quality?

The way wey una dey talk like say na Buffon and De Gea don dey keep for us since....the Super Eagles quality goalies, were they having constant clean sheets? In fact, it was a TRADITION that we MUST collect at least one each game. Ezenwa was probably the first goalie that kept a clean sheet for us in a competitive game in years.

Enyeama was collecting from the likes of Ethiopia and Lesotho sef.

You guys should stop insulting the players who have stepped up to the plate when we most needed them. Most of them never envisioned playing for the duration of the qualifiers, we have used three different goalies and have only conceded 3 goals so far. That is something

Ezenwa wasn't really tested against Cameroon and Zambia and our defence was not under any serious preasureagainst Cameroon in uyo against Zambia we had clean sheet because the Zambia striker lack a killer instinct not because ezenwa make any point blank saves

femianski:
SMH
ezenwa that kept for Nigeria against Zambia and Cameroon and had clean sheets is not a super eagles material abi
oya if ezenwa and uzoho are not super eagles quality recommend your own keeper

W

They are not basket but they are not super eagle quality

Chrismario:
As if Ezenwa/Akpeyi/Uzoho na basket...huh?

It is your bridge[Qquote author=itspzpics post=61964821]Ohhh......london bridge has damaged[/quote]

If dem allow perroti play 3 shots den we are 3 goals down

nelszx:
Imagine Perrotti play 4 of those shots at Ezenwa / Akpeyi e don be for our net

This perroti just dey scare me ni sha a we wey we no get better keeper

Finally martins argument don't end I just dey look Una for one corner

Joseph akpala is a flop in super eagle

Joebie:
Joseph Akpala scored too

England will not do jack in Russia their press too dey make mouth they will be out in the group stage or round 16 .

The man better by a car and build a house before the end of the year or else

Who is the super eagle source? Fake news everywhere

terzurum5:
ROHR’S FEAR OF BACKLASH HOLDS BACK EJIDE’S SUPER EAGLES’ RECALL

BY BOLAJI OKUNOLA.

Super Eagles’ manager, Gernot Rohr is still having headaches over the last line of his World Cup-bound squad. The goalkeeping department is still a source of worry for him. In the five World Cup qualifying matches he guided Nigeria to, the Franco-German coach made use of three goalkeepers.

Ikechukwu Ezenwa featured lately and most prominently in three of such matches while the duo of Carl Ikeme and South Africa based Daniel Akpeyi had a match each and conceded a goal in each of the encounters.

Ezenwa in three consecutive matches conceded just a penalty kick goal, away from home in the encounter with Cameroon in Douala.

While Ezenwa is just warming himself into Rohr’s heart, the coach admits he needs strong back up for the World Cup and also for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series which resume in March.

His desire to bring back a seemingly unwilling self-retired Vincent Enyeama appears doomed as feelers indicate that the Nigeria Football Federation is not inclined to the goalkeeper’s recall.

Yet, it is almost generally agreed that the Super Eagles do not have a goalkeeper that can grace the esteem stage of the World Cup. The team must have three goalkeepers in its final 23-man squad.

A source in the Super Eagles technical crew informed Sports Village Square that Rohr was thinking of recalling World Cup’s negative record holder, Austin Ejide. But the possible backlash from pundits has held him back.

Austin Ejide has been to three World Cup finals in 2002, 2010 and 2014 without seeing a minute of action.

After almost two years of layoff, he is currently back with an Israeli club, Hapoel Hadera. He last kept the goal for Nigeria in a goalless outing with South Africa in a 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in September 2014.

The inside source told Sports Village Square that Rohr was aware of Ejide’s experience but he was also worried by the goalkeeper’s lack of action which will possibly draw a lot of criticism that may also affect Ejide’s composure.

Independent sources told Sports Village Square that Ejide’s weight and increased size are additional worries. Last January, while featuring in a Joseph Dosu organized novelty match at the Julius Berger ground in Lagos, Ejide told Sports Village Square that his not getting a national call-up was due to his not featuring for any club side since he left Hapoel Be’er Sheva of Israel in 2015.

As at January, he still nursed a possible return to the Super Eagles’ fold if he was able to secure a contract with a club which he has since done.

His contract for the Hapoel Hadera is for three years. Before, Vincent Enyeama, Ejide was the first choice goalkeeper when the 2002 squad was disbanded after the turmoil that afflicted the Super Eagles at the Mali 2002 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ejide debuted for the Super Eagles on June 16, 2001 when he came off the bench as a substitute for Sunday Rotimi in an away 0-2 win for Nigeria against Namibia in an Africa Cup of Nations Cup qualifier.

He was looking like a possible permanent holder of the number one shirt having featured in the pre World Cup friendly matches under Coach Adegboye Onigbinde.

However, Vincent Enyeama stamped his authority as a goalkeeper the moment he debuted on May 4, 2002 in a 3-0 defeat of Kenya in a friendly match in Lagos.

But in 2008, Ejide was preferred by Germany’s Coach Berti Vogts ahead of Vincent Enyeama at the Africa Cup of Nations.

But is he ready to bounce back again? In the encounter with him months ago, he told Sports Village Square: “I still wish to keep for the Super Eagles. All goalkeepers must be in top form before getting a national team call up. I am not under a contract with any club for now.

“No one knows what tomorrow or the nearest future will be. As soon as a get signed with any club then I will certainly be battle ready for the Super Eagles gloves. Nigeria is my country and I derive pleasure in staying between the sticks whenever I am called upon.”

Has the time come? The Super Eagles source said while Rohr seemed inclined towards, Ejide, the foul aroma over his inactivity may make the NFF to kick against his invitation.

Left to me desserts ,Bonaventure, onuachu, awoniyi, olayinka, nwakali, ajagun, and solanke are not super eagle materials for now u guys need to stop calling for their inclusion in the team, Joseph akpala also scored many goals in the Belgian league but flopped in the super eagles. Martins ,osaze and uche don't also have any business with super eagle.

My cf for world cup

On uche agbo...seriously u are spot on joke apart...
Dude can man Mark messi toe to toe. .since it's a friendly, i will love to see that one.. although h might collect red before and if the match

Pls the fact that Wolfsburg are struggling right now doesn't mean they will struggle in the championship they are just having a bad season

komekn:
My view just going on the performance of Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg both of these teams would struggle in the Championship definitely not on the EPL level.

Some may call it biased sentimental favouritism for all things English.

Sadiq is getting games when it matter most only the goals is missing now

Lol thanks
