"w should be able to edge them because we have better forward and more physical " = we are better than Japan
mostob:
I said we should be able to edge them based on the quality of our forwards and the fact that we're more physical. I didn't fail to mention that the Japanese are faster and highly technical too.

I was specific - quality of our Forwards

I hate to be misquoted please.
E be like say you be journalist. cheesy

Lol cheesy after your analysis you Said we have better quality
mostob:
where did I say we are better? I hate to be misquoted.
I carefully analysed both teams's strength and weakness and you are saying something else.

Are we talking about higher pay or the quality of football? The Turkish league is low on quality talent
BascoVanVeli:
Lol now they don't want to claim Galatasaray again cheesy I guess the higher pay and better facilities don't come to play when talking about them cheesy
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 12:01pm On Oct 05, 2022
Saying we're better than Japan in my own shows you overhype the Nigeria team too much
mostob:
Japanese are fast and kind of stubborn when playing but they are not unbeatable. I believe we have the right players to match their athleticism. But I still think we have the edge going by the quality of our forwards and the fact that we're a bit more physical.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 10:49am On Oct 05, 2022
Fernerbache struggled to beat our u17 and sure they will lose to river angels
Deltamani:
Who made Galatasaray one of the best team in Turkish Women’s League? They only have that big name that’s all…

Only Fenerbahce, Besiktas and few other’s are as strong as their male counterparts
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 8:50am On Oct 05, 2022
I will be surprised if we score a goal , the Japanese are more ruthless than usa
mostob:
For once in a while, Falcons should win this friendly match.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 8:49am On Oct 05, 2022
Lol grin one of the best team in turkey lost to our u17 and sum up the Turkish league for me
BascoVanVeli:
So tell me why Glory Ogbonna plays for the best team in Turkey and folks here have been saying she is at a lowly club. They even played in the qualifiers for the UWCL group stage. The way some were sounding they should be a relegation fighter
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 6:10pm On Sep 30, 2022
Payne and Ajibade are the best attacking midfielders in the team , OKobi last stellar performance was at 2015 world cup
Deltamani:
Ngozi Okobi is still the best we have got among all the natural Attacking Midfielder excluding her past performance few years ago…. The likes of Peace Efih, Onyi Echegini and Esther Onyenezide still need more game time to prove themselves, but among the listed trios, I will go with Onyi Echegini as the next AM as she possesses more quality especially her well built Physic…
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 5:58pm On Sep 25, 2022
I don't just understand that Athletico coach
lovewins:
Ajibade with a super assist to help Athletico Madrid with the win.

Ajibade was impressive when she came in. Not sure why she started from the bench. She had the most shot on target of any player when she got ok the pitch. She headed a ball on target that should have been a penalty. Finally, she exhibited resilience and that led to the only goal of the game. She went after a ball that should have gone out, kept it in play and they wer me rewarded with a goal.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 12:29pm On Sep 25, 2022
Ajibade hit the post 5 seconds after coming in
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 8:23pm On Sep 24, 2022
Why can't they play together ? They are lot of old legs in that mildfield already
Deltamani:
Onyi Echegini Born: 22 March 2001 (age 21 years) should be the next Big player in the AM for the Superfalcons, she’s just too talented and Complete… I just hope she moves to Europe after College Soccer as NWSL Club’s will be knocking to get her drafted…

[b]Esther Onyenezide, Peace Efih have a tough task ahead…

Coaches are let go when clubs owners or federation think the coach isn't good enough anymore not when players send emails and threatened to not play if a coach is not sacked
Deltamani:
ISAN Do you actually believe coaches should only be dismissed when they commit a crime? If that is the case, then very few coaches on planet earth should have resigned/let go. Coaches are let go daily. If as a coach you're underperforming (that Spain can still not win a knockout match at senior level is criminal) or if you have lost your squad to such heights where players at the prime of their careers are willing to end their international careers, then what again are you holding on for?

From the Mourinhos to the Guardialos to the Jill Ellis to the Silvia Neids to even the Klopps, a time comes when you have to move and when it does, you move. If you are worth your salt, then you will land on your feet.

Well they can't just kick out a national team coach because their players wants the coach gone and threatened the federation not to honour future call ups , if the federation give in now who knows what the girls will demand for in the future? what message will they be sending to their remaining national teams ?

If its about sexual assault, racism or any other serious issues the coach should be sacked but if it's about football tactics the girls have gone too far by their actions
lovewins:
Na wa my guy

15 players is over half of the national team. This is no joke. It is something any federation will take seriously. What exactly is wrong with the federation "bending to the will of the girls", aren't they the one at the receiving end of the whole debacle. If there is any merit to their concerns then it is worth taking seriously.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by isan(m): 11:45pm On Sep 22, 2022
So you want a whole federation to bent to the will of the girls ? What message will they be sending to their other national teams ?
Deltamani:
Something is very fishy. I’m not sure the backstory to this but 15 women on the team want Vilda out. That should be an attention getter. I’m supporting the women.

Guess there will be a turnover on their national team. Things must be bad for so many players to have gone public. The response from the Federation is, simply put, awful. The men are circling their wagons.

There's no NFF president that beat pinnick, Age grade success doesn't mean anything
carbonado:
...Poor...Under him, the usual success at age grade competition we used to enjoy has disappeared, especially for the male teams. The male senior national team failed to qualify for the world cup and also there were times under his belt that we failed to qualify for nations cup. The female senior national team has been a shadow of itself under his watch. bye bye Amaju Pinick may we never meet again....still cant believe he did not sack Waldrum immedately after the Aishat Buhari cup...

Deltamani:
Eight years of Amaju Pinnick's tenure as the president of the Nigerian Football Federation officially ended today 2014 - 2022.

How would you rate Nigeria's football in the last 8 years?.

How is Onumonu randy favorite? at the Awcon which CF is there to play ? we need kanu and Ajibade for the wings
mostob:
Toni is too intelligent to be playing as a FB for us. Ify being Randy's favourite is not helping matters. The CF position needs to be thrown open. Going to World cup with Desire and Ify as the strikers will not be a nice decision.

Okobi can always make way for Efih.

Since God knows everything that has happened or will happen in the future then he must've know the food wouldn't reached the less privileged
malvisguy212:
The Bible says that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. That includes everything necessary to feed and provide for its inhabitants. Can anyone deny that the earth is capable of
producing more than enough food to feed the entire globe? Well then, if people are starving, whose fault is that? If God made the earth, is He also supposed to plant and distribute our crops for us? Do you remember the tons of food that were shipped to Ethiopia, but did not reach the
starving people who needed it? Whose fault was that?

Big cap
Omanambala:
I have said it before and people pretend to be shocked. Nwakali is the most talented midfielder we currently have. You can argue he plays at second division or that he has not hit top for but his skill set is still unmatched with the current crop of midfielders we parade.

People who are throwing shots at Nwakali are simply ignorant and shortsighted. He will reclaim his form soon and his talents will shine bright. This current spell of form will build confidence in him. He need to believe in himself and shikena.
