This lady is my one and only best friend. As a matter of fact, I was nursing plans to marry her but man never make it. We never had sex.

Well, she got married and our conversation slow down. I deliberately slow it down so as to respect her marriage.

One day I decided to call, the husband picked and warned me never to call her again. Omoh I was shocked.

Days after she called and apologized and explained how the man has completely changed and is maltreating her to the extend of beating her and emotional abuse. We spoke consistently and unfortunately, she left the marriage.

She came to my city was staying with her elder brother. We spoke for some time and I went off cos I didn't want to get too close so as not to attract emotional feelings.

Well, after some months, she blocked me from reaching her. For 9 months we haven't been in touch.

Yesterday she sent me a chat with a strange phone Facebook that I should give her my number. Since Yesterday, she has been pouring her emotional trauma on me.
Her marriage is hell. Emotional abuse, insults, beating.

As I am typing, she is still talking on phone. She is done with the marriage and wants to leave but she is scared of her son that's 1 year and 2 months old.

I really feel bad for her and don't even know how to help her.
It is painful. She is my best friend.

I watched Newsline on NTA yesterday. This man has four wives and 19 children. The family is poor and the kids beg on the streets.



1. There should be a law banning poor men from marrying more than 1 wife.

2. Another law that makes it a criminal offence for a poor man to have more than 2 kids.

Several years ago, my greatest desire was to be permanently employed by New Era Hospital in Aba where I did my 6 months compulsory SIWES Industrial Training..... My then boss, Oga Uche had what I call the perfect � life - a job, one wife, and he was a pastor with a church in town..... I wanted to be like him.

Several years later, I wouldn't take 5 million Naira Per Month to work in that hospital. In fact, my Brain � can only remember computer codes, not some enzymes, pathways, and all those Biochemistry stuff.

I remember how I desired to own a certain Motorola phone codenamed "Razor" by Nigerians... Boy, I hustled but still couldn't afford it. I sent out prayer requests asking God to touch someone's heart to give me their used Motorola razor. Several years later, hehehe, my son wouldn't take that phone as a gift because his generation is only used to the screen-touch devices.

Friends, someday all the things you desire today will no longer make sense. Some of you are desiring a certain girl or guy who is not giving you the attention you deserve, when the universe gives you your perfect soul mate, you will judge your intelligence for ever desiring someone who didn't have your time.

Someday, you will get a job that will make you look stupid for ever imagining sleeping with that entrepreneur just to be his PA.

Someday, you will buy a car that will make you feel too desperate for ever trying to do something stupid just to get a ride in a range rover.

Good morning guys. I found myself in a very unpleasant situation & I'm not sure I'll be able to come out fighting. My Fiancee had an emergency cataract surgery & I wasn't really buoyant since I just renewed our rent. I got a text from a certain CASHBUS app about a loan & out of curiosity downloaded to see their rates & all. Next thing I was credited without even requesting with ridiculous rates. #13000 to pay #20000 in 7 days. Funniest thing is I didn't get the money that day so I felt it was a scam or fluke. Only to wake up to text messages the next day that I had been credited 13k twice to pay back 40k all within 7days. How?? I've been at it with them but they planned it perfectly from the start. Its the new scam in town. Now they're at going for my jugular by defaming me completely. I'm a very private person but these people have been tarnishing my image so much that my contacts are beginning to actually distance themselves from me. I feel worthless & the fact that I have no one to help just makes me feel like ending it all. The embarrassment is too much. Please I need help. How can I stand up to them?
