Is Obi the only one in court? Why only Obi out of four political parties in court? I am happy you guys know Obi is the true winner of February 25 presidential election. There's hope for your dead conscience.

What gains are you talking about? Don't try to use that type of thinking to deceive us we shall wait we don't care how long it takes.
The gain he is talking about is in his bank accounts - ill-gotten wealth. Nigeria has a lot of useless and wicked elder statesmen.

The bad losers behind the plot are simply evil. It shall never be well with all those trying to truncate our democracy. Exactly on 29th May, 2023, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be sworn in as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nothing will derail the peaceful transfer of power.
Interim government is already staring at you in the face grin. Druggie can never become our president.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Should Stop Insulting Tinubu by iSense247: 10:17pm On Mar 29, 2023
nikky5:
I have been wondering what are the offences of the president elect that has made all kinds of human beings in Nigeria to hurl abuses at him. Currently, he is the most abused person in Nigeria today.

No nation abuses their presidents and public office holders in the world like Nigerians do.

Recently, Tinubu confessed that he no longer read the social media because of the way Nigerians abuses him. What has he done to warrant those derogatory insults like a thief, druggie etc. What did he steal and which court convicted him of stealing?

Some of these folks who abuse Tinubu come from regions where they have no respect for their elders. Many of them have never seen Tinubu nor had any interaction with him yet, they hurl abuses on someone's husband and father. Can they allow their fathers to be insulted this way?

Some go to the extent of accusing of stealing a mandate that belongs to another political gladiator without prove.

I strongly believe that someday Providence will vindicate Asiwaju. I have a good upbringing just like any omoluabi not to insult elders or accuse them falsely.

I believe that God will use Tinubu to change our narrative in this country. Then those abuses will have boomeranged effects.
Two questions for you:

Is Tinubu not a Thief?
Is Tinubu not a Druggie?

Tinubu will never be president. Go and write down today's date.

25% of FCT votes is constitutionally compulsory. Section 134(2)(b) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended) is clear and unambiguous, direct and simple.

To be declared Presidential winner, a candidate must secure at least 1/4th (25%) of votes cast in 2/3rd of the entire 36 States of Nigeria (that is in 24 states). Also, the candidate must also secure not less than 25% of the votes cast at the FCT.

The literal interpretation of this section is that a candidate must secure 1/4th (25%) of votes cast in 2/3rd of the entire 36 States of Nigeria and 1/4th (25%) of votes cast in FCT. This provision is so clear, direct and unambiguous, that you don’t need a Professor of Constitutional Law to comprehend. The use of the word “and” had been held by the Supreme Court to be conjunctive, which implies that the conditions in Section 134(2)(b) are conjunctive and mandatory.

Resort to Section 299 (which states that the FCT is to be treated as a State in Nigeria), is a general provision that has no bearing on Section 134. A general provision cannot override a specific provision. Section 134(2)(b) is a specific provision on the conditions for declaration of a candidate and the presidential winner at the polls.

In conclusion, with the result of the general elections as published by INEC, the contest is still open, as none of the candidates has satisfied the legal threshold in Section 134.
