olahero:Have you read or head of a Hadith below, below is example of mercy of Prophet to humanity. Anas Bin Maalik said: While we were in the masjid with the Messenger of Allaah, a Bedouin came; he then urinated in the masjid. The Companions of the Messenger of Allaah said, “Mah Mah (An expression used to severly scold someone, to indicate the graveness of a matter).” The Messenger of Allaah said, “Do not put a halt to his urinating, but instead leave him.” They left him alone until he finished urinating. The Messenger of Allaah called him over and said to him, “Any kind of urine or filth is not suitable for these masjids. Instead they are only [appropriate] for the remembrance of Allaah, the Prayer, and the recitation of the Qur’aan,” or this is near to what the Messenger of Allaah said. He (saw) then issued an order to a man from the people, who then came with a bucket of water, which he poured over the [effected] area [of the masjid]. [Related by Muslim in his Saheeh, 285] |

"It is a legal responsibility which God has given us, within the context of one Nigeria, to continue to uphold the practice of Sharia wholeheartedly , and to educate non-Muslims that they have nothing to fear," he said. The press propaganda with a lot of gullible minds, I believe a lot nairalander here just read the heading and start comments with their bias mind for Islam -''Islamphobia''. Shariah Law is for Muslims what then is your fear. |
The interview is being rescheduled for August end. |

[b]We are Often Unaware of our Indebtedness to the Islamic Civilization, says Hewlett Packard Chief Carly Fiorina, the CEO of Hewlett Packard, recently gave a speech defining the relevance of leadership in today's world. Here is the quote from the final part of her speech. "I'll end by telling a story. There was once a civilization that was the greatest in the world. It was able to create a continental super-state that stretched from ocean to ocean, and from northern climes to tropics and deserts. Within its dominion lived hundreds of millions of people, of different creeds and ethnic origins. One of its languages became the universal language of much of the world, the bridge between the peoples of a hundred lands. Its armies were made up of people of many nationalities, and its military protection allowed a degree of peace and prosperity that had never been known. The reach of this civilization's commerce extended from Latin America to China, and everywhere in between. And this civilization was driven more than anything, by invention. Its architects designed buildings that defied gravity. Its mathematicians created the algebra and algorithms that would enable the building of computers, and the creation of encryption. Its doctors examined the human body, and found new cures for disease. Its astronomers looked into the heavens, named the stars, and paved the way for space travel and exploration. Its writers created thousands of stories. Stories of courage, romance and magic. Its poets wrote of love, when others before them were too steeped in fear to think of such things. When other nations were afraid of ideas, this civilization thrived on them, and kept them alive. When censors threatened to wipe out knowledge from past civilizations, this civilization kept the knowledge alive, and passed it on to others. While modern Western civilization shares many of these traits, the civilization I'm talking about was the Islamic world from the year 800 to 1600, which included the Ottoman Empire and the courts of Baghdad, Damascus and Cairo, and enlightened rulers like Suleiman the Magnificent. Although we are often unaware of our indebtedness to this other civilization, its gifts are very much a part of our heritage. The technology industry would not exist without the contributions of Arab mathematicians. Sufi poet-philosophers like Rumi challenged our notions of self and truth. Leaders like Suleiman contributed to our notions of tolerance and civic leadership. And perhaps we can learn a lesson from his example: It was leadership based on meritocracy, not inheritance. It was leadership that harnessed the full capabilities of a very diverse population–that included Christianity, Islamic, and Jewish traditions. This kind of enlightened leadership — leadership that nurtured culture, sustainability, diversity and courage — led to 800 years of invention and prosperity. In dark and serious times like this, we must affirm our commitment to building societies and institutions that aspire to this kind of greatness. More than ever, we must focus on the importance of leadership– bold acts of leadership and decidedly personal acts of leadership."[/b] |
How to Be A Productive Neighbour Aisha (may Allāh be pleased with her) reported: “I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, say, ‘Jibreel, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, kept on recommending that I treat neighbors well until I thought that he would order me to treat them as my heirs’ “[Bukhari]. “And worship Allah and do not ascribe any partner to Him … the neighbor who is near of kin, the neighbor who is a stranger … Indeed Allah does not like anyone who is a swaggering braggart” (Quran chapter 4, verse 36). A neighbor is one who lives near or next to another. Al- Hasan was asked about the neighbor and said, ”The term ’neighbor’ includes the forty houses in front a person, the forty houses behind him, the forty houses on his right and the forty houses on his left.” Neighbors are the first people whom we can run to in case of an emergency, be it a desperate need of salt or a fire in the night – Subhanallah! How beautiful is our religion that it coaches us to be our best with our neighbors. |
It is a fool that will judge a profession by its professor, a wise does otherwise. While not take just 15 minutes to watch this if even for knowledge sake. http://www.tubeislam.com/video/11623/Innocence-of-Muhammad |

this is just a case of wrong 'leader' and blind follower. |
@wilywily, it is a fool that judge a profession by its professor while a wise judges a professor by it is profession. If you had knowledge of Quran you would not have utter all ur satanic statement about quran. Your statements even show your level of thinking, tribalism and your religion fanaticism. As we had people burnt themselves in churches and committing genocide of various form in the west world as a result of religion misconception, no doubt this is another form of religion misconception. This is just a case of wrong 'leader' and blind landownership in religion. |

Y'all should stop acting holier than thou, the problem is quite glaring, he was the first male figure she came into contact with outside the nuclear family and such a transference is only natural, i believe it's taking her this long to dissociate because she hasn't come into contact with more responsible and matured men, she needs to change her circle of friends!!! someone somewhere on this thread said that she needs to join clubs------nah, i don't believe that, she just needs mix more with the opposite sex, that is when she can stop unconsciously comparing your cousin with other males that come accross her way, also, i feel you should let byour cousin be aware that you know of the situation so that he is not tempted to take advantage of girl, even though he might be a responsible guy,!!! |
