He said the charge was the initial sacrifice consumers had to make given the huge financial investment made by the new investors in the power sector, who had yet to make adequate returns on their investments.
consumers have to make a sacrifice because investors want to make return on investment. so investors did not know ab initio that the level of power generation could not guarantee them returns.

Jarus: Smh.
Is this a political appointment?
Does being a sister to the outgoing disqualify one from being the CJ if one is the next most senior Judge?
When the sisters enrolled for Law degree more than 40 years ago and rose through the ranks, was it APC that advised them to do?
I'm a qualified accountant and member of ICAN, my elder brother is also a member. Does that mean we cannot rise to become ICAN president independently? So it he becomes in the future, and I succeed him, has ICAN turned into a family affairs?
Smh for the ignorance here. dont mind them...Hilary Clinton will soon be US president... |

lat4real: CBN is still saying the same thing but with better explanation this time. You can withdraw thrice in a day without being charged, but your subsequent withdrawal will attract N65 charges. Misinformation...they didn't say in a day. You have three oppourtunities to use remote-on-us ATM without charges. your forth and subsequent withdrawals for the rest of the month will be chared N65/withdrawal. |

deeobserver209: I used to support these doctors but when I got to learn how political their strike dived into and their superiority complex, I withdrew my support for them. The main bone of contention is the demand for the establishment of the office of the 'Surgeon General of the Federation' which they argue should be established to take care of Health care matters in the country, just like the situation in the United States. But things got crappy when they insist that only Doctors be appointed as a Surgeon General. Arguing that doctors are more qualified for the position considering the amount of time they spend on their course of study. This didn't go down well with the nurses who feel that such plan would only subjugate nurses to the background. The nurses were of the oppion that the office of the Surgeon General should be left wide open for whoever will be qualified to occupy, be it Nurse or a Doctor. They cite an example with the United States were the current Surgeon General is a Nurse. All this falsehood ure sharing..diaris god oooo!!! |

Eldavido1: Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare, Monday night, confirmed her rating as Africa’s fastest woman as she finished tops in grand style in the women’s 100m event at the ongoing 19th Edition of the African Athletic Championships in Marrakech, Morocco. Okagbare, who recently clinched the sprint double at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, set a new Championship record of 11.00secs to secure Nigeria’s first gold medal at the flagship African athletics competition. Okagbare’s Ivorian rival, Murielle Ahoure, finished in second place with a time of 11.03 secs while the other two Nigerian athletes in the finals Gloria Asunmu and Lawretta Ozoh were unable to make it to the podium finishing 4th and 7th respectively. Speaking with journalists after another record making outing, Okagbare said she had to go extra mile for the win. “I am very happy to have won the title because I just wanted to win for my fans and do my country proud,” Okagbare said. “Just coming straight from the Commonwealth Games, my body is tired, but my coach told me to just focus and execute the race, which was what I did. Of course the competition was stiffer at the Commonwealth Games, but that is not to take anything away from Murielle Ahoure. “She is a great athlete. It was good that we had three Nigerians in the final but this is Africa. I am hoping that we can have this kind of representation on a bigger platform, like the World Championships and the Olympics. Unfortunately, Nigeria was not able to repeat the winning feat in the men’s 100m event as Mark Jelks settled for second position behind, Ivorian Wilfred Koffi Hua who won in a time of 10.05secs Jelks won the silver finishing with a time of 10.07secs, while Edward Monzavous, another Nigerian, settled for bronze. Another Nigerian, Ogho-Oghene Egwero, could only manage a 5thplace finish after posting a time of 10.28secs in the thrilling finals for men.
