Southern Regional in Riverdale is 6500 womanly and 10k cs.

odtaiwo:
Morning People,

I would start by saying a big thank you to all of you that have contributed...you guys have been invaluable....please dont stop being the wonderful people you guys have been. (Just know there are people like me that have learnt a lot from you people)

It looks like Gwinnett Medical have increased their prices i got this from them last night

[i]Gwinnett Medical Center does not offer package pricing for deliveries.

Prices are based on level of care and length of stay. On average, patients who experience a normal vaginal delivery and remain in our facility for 2 days incur charges from $8,000 to $10,000.

Patients who deliver by caesarian who remain in our facility for 4 days incur charges from $15,000 to $25,000.

Please note that these are estimated charges only and as previously stated, charges are based on level of care and length of stay. These prices include well baby care only and additional charges will be added if your baby is cared for in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Receiving care in our Neonatal Unit will also result in a separate bill from Gwinnett Neonatology.

Uninsured patients will be eligible for a total discount of 40% for facility fees only providing payment is posted to your account within 30 days of your discharge date.

Anesthesia will bill separately and often offer discounts if their fee is paid up front. You may contact them directly: American Anesthesiology 866-507-5244.

Physician fees are also separate. If you do not have a physician, you may contact our referral line at 678-312-5000.

Final charges are non-negotiable beyond the 40% discount that is available 30 days post discharge. Personal checks will not be accepted as a form of payment. Payments must be made by credit card or certified funds.

Does anyone have information about Southern Regional (Emory)?

In other news, dollar is now 180 cos of this crude oil thingy that has reduced. This has nothing to do with the upcoming holidays. The chances of it coming down is unlikely. So it's best to buy now. Just tot to share.

@babababy, congrats. Please how do I contact you. Tried sending a PM but not working. I need details of how you got the passport, SSN, birth cert and nigerian passport. I intend using Wyckoff as well.

Babababy:
Good morning beautiful people, some good news from my end. My wife put to bed on Thursday 0605 eastern,it's a girl !! Mother and daughter are doing great (natural birth).
They were discharged yesterday Saturday, after two nights at the hospital. The hospital is the same one wckykoff heights medical center , we signed a contract during registration and deposited $5000 ,we were giving a total bill of $6500.

The package included, all the pregnancy test ,two scans, delivery and two days hospital stay.she had a total of 6 antenatal visits, and we paid $50 per visit cash. So technically we have a balance of $1500 to pay, but we were told the account woman wasn't on duty Saturday,so we a expect a bill Monday.

My wife was pretty much happy with the medical attention she got. Let me know if any more details is needed from me. As for me,I will join the mid November, work is just unforgiving at the moment, and I have to hold all my excitement down.

VO: Good morning
me: Good morning
VO: So why are you going to maryland?
me: to spend xmas with my cousin and his family
VO: Wat does ur cousin do?
me: XYZ
VO: Wen last did u see ur cousin?
Me: 2009
VO: Who is paying for ur trip?
me: my husband
VO: Wat does he do and where does he work?
me: XYZ
VO: How much does he earn?
Me: XYZ
VO: wat do u do and where do u work?
Me: XYZ
VO: How much do u earn?
me: XYZ
VO: Have u travelled outside nigeria b4?
Me: Yes..UK
VO: How many times?
ME: Just once.
VO: Do you have kids?
Me: No
VO: Are you expecting at this time?
Me: Yes
VO: are u going to give birth in the US?
Me: Not on this trip
VO: When are u due?
Me: May nxt yr.
VO: If you are going to give birth in the US, u need to come out strait with me. I need to explain the implication of birthing in the US to u. u will need to have a correspondence with a doc and a hospital and have a plan to pay ur bills. If i give u d visa and u travel without these, the pple at the border are not nice at all and will send you back.
Me: I understand but I have not decided. Wen I go for xmas, I will check for hospitals and see if anyone meets my budget.
VO: ok. With all u have said, I will believe you and issue ur visa.
Me: ok
VO: u can pick up ur visa at this address on Monday.
Me: Thank you.

Please I would like to know if anyone has information on Hospitals in Maryland, Dallas and Tennessee(Nashville). These are the likely places I would stay wen I travel.

Thank you.
