I'm one of the few who are not really convinced about WordPress being better than blogger.
From my experiences, WordPress are problematic on mobile screen and the tons of plugins for virtually everything makes it takes time to load.
When I needed a fast loading blog, like my recent project on my signature, blogger offered me what I wanted.
You can't customized a free WordPress like a free blogger as per html stuff so I don't understand when you say WordPress is better. (yeah better when you buy the domain name and host it - certainly not for starters )
