t2luv: Let me you in on something. The powertrain (Engine & Transmission) were never manufactured in Nigeria that I can bet you on that. You don't have any heat treat facility to grind, bored, and polish the steel. The only steel plant in Nigeria only makes Rod steels. Nigeria does not have any stamping metal plant to stamp out the metal sheets for the vehicle. I know all this because I work for General Motors. I am not saying we can't do it. we just don't have the expertise yet to do it. Too many routing, and product structure steps involve.
I worked with proforce, Yes we do it sad

t2luv: Hate to tell you this, Nigeria don't have the raw material needed to make a bicycle not to talk less of an automobile. All you can do in Nigeria is assembly the product with material flown in from other countries.
Locally manufactured 100% by proforce (a Nigerian company)

If you think it was assembled, kindly go to their factory in ogun state as see How it's done

jamolmed: What is good about the idea. Can u afford a new car?. 70% of Nigerians live below $1 a day . How many Government Official cars are made in Nigeria?. Yet another joke
if this is true, then I believe you live below a dollar daily as well, cuz the probability of you being amongst the remaining 30% is slim

Politics › Re: FG Plans To Ban Importation Of Vehicles by iterator25: 9:12pm On Sep 17, 2013
Idiots..many western car manufactures have plants in south africa, they don't import cars like we do. FG wooed Nissan and Toyota to establish a plant here but they gave flimsy reasons not to.. I think this is a good move .. empower innoson and create additional plants here, then we'll be on a path to owning our own competitive car brand ..

bloggernaija: Why clap for a mediocre president with a backward attitude /approach to problem solving

That road should be a super highway of at least 5 lanes on either side.
A dedicated high speed rail all the way to Ibadan
Light rail from mowe to Berger
Dedicated service done or what you call rest stops else.

Within 4 yrs, that road will pafuka again and mr president would have to take his begging bowl to china again
