Registration is on Mondays. The fee is about 12k to 15k. She should go very early. As early as 7am so that once she is done with the reg she will be able to do her blood work( they stop taking blood samples by 12 and she has to come back the next day) the lab test is about 2,800.

I remember a time there was strike in my first pregnancy, the midwives still conducted ANC, infact I enjoyed them more than the Drs sef and when we asked questions about what will happen in case of emergency CS, we were told that at all times the Drs are available. They just dont accept new patients but take care of their regular patients. A lot of women gave birth in that hospital during the strike.
I dont have any idea of other private hospitals coz even when I went around to search for myself none satisfied me like Gbaja did.

Please my sister Inlaw needs a not expensive hospital around Surulere, Ojuelegba or Aguda. She is 5 months plus gone and yet to register cos of some issues. I suggested Gbaja general hospital which we will try but scared cos she is more than 4 months gone and don't know if she will be accepted.

My dear, as soon as I left my Director's huse, I started having a retink on saving 2 go 2 Diff cos as it is now, d money I spent so far on 2 trials is equal to 1 high success rate trial wit DIFf. Most clinics are only intrested in retriving eggs & transfering embryos which I see as trial & error. No blood test, mock transfer etc. I gathered dat deir success rate in Diff is about 80%(according 2 my madam sha). U ve ur team designated specially 4u which comprise of a gynae, embryologist, nurse, I tink a councellor or so. Ds are d pipu u see frm begining 2 end while d MD monitors each team. Ur treatment is not tailored 2 fall wit others so as 2 do combined ER or group ET. U re allowed 2 respond gradually.... Etc.
Their cost is N1.8M covering medication, procedure and support medication afterwards.
Dey also offer a special package wer u deposit N5m & u keep having proceedures et al until pregnancy is achieved but if u get it at 1st trial, no change o. But d truth of d matter is those I know personally who achieve BFP didn't go more dan 2xs & 2 my surprise, 7 embryos was transfered 4 anoda colleague of mine.......
My sis, if u can afford it, I advise u 2 try dem.
In all sha, I rely most on God's Factor but atleast let man(doc) play his role well.

She used Diff and was encouraging me to try them but their price is not for the faint hearted though from their website I could see they know what they r doing. They do the day 2 and 3 FSH and LH test unlike most clinics in Nigeria who don't.

@oleayo22, for a donor cycle it is d donor that takes the bulk of the injections. You are only given injections to prepare you lining and uterus to receive your babies. Some clinics use pro*gnova while some will use your natural cycle and allow ur lining get thick enough.

Maybe I can help with the Georges explanation. Their IVF procedure price is actually estimated to 1.1M. 600k for the IVF procedure and 500k for drugs.

Any discount or promo done is usually on the IVF procedure price of 600k.

@candilite100, I think she went for her procedure during the mother's month promo. During that promo the IVF cost was reduced to 450k and d drugs remained 500k.

For this promo Now, it is 25% off 600K( procedure cost). So IVF cost is 450k drugs is 500k.

Now, most people don't use up to 500k for drugs and the balance is usually returned to d person or channeled to antenantal if u want.

Worry less dear. You are not infertile, first thing is to go to a laboratory and do an hvs test, transvaginal scan and a hormonal test.

The hvs will show if you have any infection, transvsginal will show the state of d uterus and ovaries while the hormonal test will show if ur hormones are ok cos the spotting points to hormonal imbalance.

Or better still look for a good gynae and submit urself to him.

They r matured enough. Drs usually advice we trigger from 1.8cm (18mm)
