I did a hysteroscopy and didn't have to wait for 3 months. I think I did my IVF about 4 weeks after the procedure.

Fireandice0589:
Hello mamas. I just did hysteroscopy, and a lady told me now that based on her experience, she will advice i wait for 3 months before trying to conceive, because it can result to uterineadhesion.

I want to ask pls, is there any mama here that has done hysteroscopy too but has a different view? Pls eppp!

Our doctor didn't say to wait, but i also would like to hear from someone that has been in this boat.

Doctor only said, i should come back in two months do they can check if its properly healed, then my ivf procedure can begin, but i on the other hand wanted to be trying naturally, and the lady says its a bad idea.

Thank you so much.

Capo @Patking. Sorry for my silence, I was fighting battles.

Birth announce and Birth story.

My EDD was May 10 but because I was opting for elective CS, I joined Team April.

January 31 after Eating one sweet porridge Yam, I noticed I felt wet. I entered the bathroom to check, immediately I pulled my underwear, a large pool of blood poured. I was rushed to the hospital where it was discovered I had a total placenta abruption.

Dr. Said she has to do an immediate Csection to save my life. I was only 25 weeks and 4 days (6.5 months) pregnant. My baby was brought out weighing 748grams.

As she laid in her isolette and the doctors not giving any hope, I cried to God, begging him to save her and pledging that I will share her testimony round the world. I said "please heal her and make her testimony draw souls to Christ."

God had mercy on us. He saved her. He kept her. He gave us a song and His words in John 11 VS 4 which was my prayer did not fall to the ground.

We were told the 1st 24 hours were crucial. The hospital where I gave birth has a low level NICU and so she had to be airlifted to another hospital. They were not sure how she will do on the flight but God kept her.

We had a tough start.
She went through:
1. 9 initial intubation trial
2. PDA(An open hole in the heart) which closed after ibruprofen therapy.
3. NEC Suspicion(perforation of the intestine because of its immaturity.
4. 8 blood transfusions
5. 41 days on the ventilator
6. We later moved to CPAP another breathing machine. A total of 43days on CPAP
7. She was moved to regular Oxygen. She didn't hold up well and went back to CPAP. She was tried again and it was ok. She is off all support.
8. Uncountable Xrays and ultrasounds
9. 2 MRIs.

God saved my baby. I totally depended on God and pleaded with him for mercy. My heart was in shambles but God gently put them together. I drew comfort from God's words and knew I could not give up. I said this bible verse everyday

" John 11 vs 4, When he heard this, Jesus said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it."

We had a great team at the NICU(Neonatal Intensive care unit) who God used to take good care of my daughter.

After 108 days, I got to take my daughter home.

It is time to tell the world about the Miracle call Eloghosa. We spent 108 day in the NICU. At discharge she weighed 3.7kg. Is God not good?

Her name means It is not difficult with God.

God is Awesome.

John 11 vs 4.

When he heard this, Jesus said, "This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God's glory so that God's Son may be glorified through it."

Jeremiah 32: 27

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

This will be a long post oh. Prepare.

It is ok to cry and be tired but you see that give up part? Don't try it.

I was diagnosed with PCOS like 18 years ago. My first question was "Dr, can I get pregnant at all" and he said I should come back when I was ready. I had not stepped out of the door when he told the second dr that "this lady will not be able to get pregnant at all".

I left with that sentence ringing in my head. Years later I researched into PCOs mainly from Oyibo platforms.

First step:

1. Lose weight. I lost 15kg.
2. Eliminate sugar. I dropped soft drinks, juice, sugar e.t.c
3. Reduce carbohydrate. This was hard but I did.
4. Exercise, however there is a caveat on this. I did just walking and slight jogging cos I noticed that more exercise made PCOs worse for me.

I started taking I*No*si*tol*. I also used some fertil aid products but they didn't work for me

With the above, I still didn't get pregnant.

I attacked with medical too.

I started with a gynaecologist who placed me on MET*FOR*MIN and combined later with CLO*MID so as to induce ovulation. I did that for 8 cycles and didn't get pregnant.

Next was injectables for another 6 cycles or so...no pregnancy.

I moved over to IUI and after a number of IUI, no pregnancy.

Last bus stop was IVF. I did some cycles and finally had a son.

I am pregnant again with no drama this time.

Now, you will say does that mean I Pojomojo will go through all this plenty things? And then you start crying and feeling tired all over. My answer is NO. This was how I went though Mine.

My friend with PCOS just eliminated sugar. Lost weight and immediately got pregnant. She has a beautiful baby girl.

Different success stories from different PCOS women.

Pick the positives of my story.
Keep fighting.
In a battle we have 2 outcomes: the winner and the loser.

Chose to be the winner.

I cried several times . I was angry, sad and overwhelmed but I always knew that one day, all will pass and become stories. God bless you.

Pojomojo:
Please I was diagnosed of Pcos, I have been crying since morning, I am tired and just want to give up

Please, why is there no bathing the first 5 days?

Mummy4life1:
Please don't eat complete pineapple. Only the core is required for 5days after embryo transfer.

@Siraj20: Only two embryo was transferred during my own procedure and my result came out positive. I am 4monthplus pregnant now.

Just be positive and take enough water, 30minutes walk within the house, don't bath until after 5days and don't miss your medication, no sex, eat enough vegetable, suspend all house work, and be prayerful. All the best Ma'am

HI siraj, 2 weeks wait can be so stressful and emotional.

I had OHSS too. What I did was to watch happy movies. I walked round my sitting room for 30 mins daily.

I ate healthy food with low carbohydrates because I had PCOS. I also drank lots of water. I used my cyclogest and also combined it with progesterone Injection.

Above all, I prayed and asked God for mercy.

Siraj20:
Hello all,
Very very new here, I'm not sure I'm posting this question in the appropriate place sef, pls I just had my embryo transfer yesterday, I had 2 transferred , grade of 4BC and 3BC. Please how good are these and what's the possible success for implantation ?

I had a severe OHSS situation from FSH stimulation but I have recovered now and got my frozen embryos transferred.

Any advise on what to do to aid implantation? I have been scared to leave the bed since yesterday.

Thanks sisters, God bless you all

Just a comment, "young age" and presence of womb does not mean that the person cannot adopt. Adoption is also not a 1501BC thingy.

Bluefin:

She is 31!!! adopt a baby lol. You guys are sounding like its 1501 BC and the lady has no womb! smh
@engr sarah, please PM me. I may have some useful information for you to consider. I cant type too much here before the ignorant people start quoting me.

Hi Sarah, would you be willing to come to Nigeria for the IVF? I ask because the cost of one IVF in the US(considering that you will be doing a PGD for gene) will cover your flights to Nigeria and maybe 2 IVFs cycle too. Also there sre good hospitals which can handle it.

Another consideration is that the US transfers 1 or 2 embryos as they are guided by the law however in Nigeria, some hospitals transfer 3.

Personally, I am of the opinion that the chances of getting pregnant with 3 embryos transferred is higher than 1 however I know several articles and Dr disputes this claim.

All my advice above is on the assumption that you are Nigerian.

EngrSarah:
Hello mamas/papas in the house. Great job with this thread...I have been on this thread for sometime now but I am seriously considering going for an IVF because it seems like my best option right now.

Now, we are in the US and IVF is crazy expensive here but dh and I have decided to take a loan or whatever and do it (apart from the sperm issues, we are both AS and were planning to do Amniocentesis or something along that line). However, now since we have not even been able to conceive, we think we will be killing two birds with a stone (very expensive stone though).

My questions then are:
1. Would the issue of having no normal shaped semen not also affect the success rate of the IVF
2. Has anyone on this thread (or anyone you know) done IVF in the US? Need to ask some questions
3. Any general advise for me and my issues

My testimony below.

Itissettled3:
......

It's a long post alert. Longest post ever written. I just want to use it to encourage someone here.

All praises to God who gives victory. I am forever grateful to God for his unending mercies which I am undeserving of.

My immigration journey: started with Australia immigration October 2016. Did my assessment, wrote PTE and IELTS. Didn't do well in PTE but IELTS I scored LRWS 8.5, 8, 7, 7.5.

I got the invitation to apply in May, did my medicals and submitted in June 2017.

Waited for months and there was no news from them. One day in September during the Big Sallah break, my boss called me to say he got a call from the Australian immigration officials and they were enquiring about my job start dates and duties. He said he was not so sure of the date I started and told them to call him back or do an email.

However, in October 2017, my school finally verified my WES after 2 years... Yes 2 years. I got my Wes report and since I had everything ready, I decided to enter the pool. I entered on a Tuesday with a score of 446, next day was a draw at 441 and I got ITA.

I was confused as to if I should lodge my Canadian visa bearing in mind we had spent about $10,000 for Australia visa charges and assessment ( Primary applicant is 3,800). My friends told me not to bother but I had this nagging feeling to put in for it. My husband was visibly angry, said why will we spend double and asked if I was going to live in 2 countries. Anyway woman bottom power won, we applied for Canada.

December 13, 2017 I recieved a natural justice letter from Australia, it's like Canada's procedural fairness. They said my boss gave them a wrong date of January 2010 as against December 2009(One month difference) and accused me of misrepresentation. They asked me to defend it.

I wasn't scared cos I knew there was no lie in my application. I got all documentation ready. Printed my statement of account from first day I started work till date (about 9years) all showing my monthly salary payment. I got my boss to swear an affidavit stating I started working with him 2009. He also wrote a letter to them stating he made an error.

I attached email correspondence with my boss from first day at work. We communicate office matters via email. I also sent them correspondence I had sent to banks from the office and those correspondence were time stamped by the bank. Videos and pictures of me at work, complimentary cards that showed my work progression. I outdid myself and was so impressed. Responded to their NJL December 26.

January 31st I woke up to an email, our Australia visa application was denied and I was slammed a 3 years ban for misrepresentation!

I wept. I felt pain from my chest. I was devastated. I can't put into words how I felt.

I felt great pain. I was been punished for the truth. I became depressed and angry. I channeled that anger into writing a 7 page letter to them. They responded that they had referred my case to a manager and will get back to me. I am still waiting. I also wrote to the Minister. The truth must prevail.

Remember that Canada application that looked like a waste of money? Yes, that one turned out to be my anti-depressant medication.

My application was referred to LVO. I waited everyday with pain. I struggled, I had mood swings, I had various crying bouts... Oh, to make matters worse, my husband was suddenly without a job... Outcome of the high exchange rate saga that happened.

Let me end it here:
Aor: Nov 14th
Adr: Travel history Nov 29
Mep: Nov 30
Na2: Dec
Ip2: Feb 27th
May 16:
Procedural fairness: Drama. When I saw the title of this, I broke down and wept before opening it. I was like not again. Why me? turned out It was to clarify a custody issue I have.
May 16: responded to the procedural fairness.

May 21, 10am, I was walking on the Street, I got so overwhelmed and emotional, I started pleading with God to have mercy. I kept repeating, father have mercy. Help me. Help us. Show us mercy.

Same May 21 by 12.56pm: PPR.

I saw the PPR letter and was totally confused. I couldn't assimilate what was written. I had to send it to someone to explain if that was really PPR.... LMAO.

When the Lord turned away the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream dreams.

You would think victory is here right? Yeah right!

I waited for my passport and people who submitted with me were getting their passport left and right. People who submitted after me also got their passports.

I was worried and emailed Accra to know if my passport is missing. They responded that my passport was under processing.

June 19, I got an ADR! Mogbe!! ADR after PPR! Hot poo catch me. I Automatically developed running stomach.

The ADR was to submit pcc of spouse in countries he has stayed more than 6 months in and also schedule A.

The irony was that he has only spent 6 months and more in Nigeria and we had submitted the pcc with our application. I contacted a lot of people.

We decided to prepare PCC for Nigeria and UAE which is his current country of residence though he has not stayed 6 months there and had moved after AOR.

The big question now was should I declare the Australia rejection in Schedule A being that it came after AOR. I was scared and worried.

Friends advised I come clean, what's the worst that can happen right? And also knowing that I didn't misrepresent, every detail of my application was the truth. I declared the Australia visa denial.

July 19, Passport came back with our Visa!!!!!!!

Who says God is not good? Who says he doesn't have mercy?

Thank you Jesus!!!!!!

I am overwhelmed!!!!!!

Don't complain about my long post oh. Na excitement. God bless you all and may no one have to go through the torture I went through in the hands of Australia, Amen.

It's normal with exclusively breastfed babies. Mine stayed 3 weeks without pooing. I got so scared and allowed MIL to put metholatum in his bum hole which made him poo. However when it happened again, I went to the hospital and the Dr confirmed it was normal. Said something about him absorbing/utilising all he was been fed and none to waste.

Ok then. When I was on it, I asked my Dr if there was an overdose of it or any harmful effect to the baby from using it for a long period, he said no.

I also asked Dr Google and didn't see any harmful effects. For my peace of mind, I continued till 35 weeks though I was closely monitored by the Drs.

I had bled at 6 weeks and 8 weeks and also had pre term contrations at 34, 35 and 36 weeks.

Cc @adorablewifey,

There are different dosage and length of usage of progesterone for different patients.

I was on progesterone injection upto my 35th week of pregnancy. I started with two times a week and then reduced to once a week. Kindly consult with ur Dr before stopping it. Wishing you a beautiful pregnancy.

mum2bsoon:

Progesterone injection is usually stopped at the 12th week by then placenta will have taken over hence no need for prog again. Just stopped mine this weekend @ week 12, same thing with my first.

Nigerian airlines are quite strict with pregnant ladies. None of them will allow you fly at 35weeks. Some of their policies allow up to 30 weeks. I am not so sure of the 30 weeks. I advise you hear from them before buying ticket.

We are planning to get a copy of the newspaper and portion where her name appears as the editor.

Her appointment letter doesn't contain duties.

About 50%

I was advising she reapplies but she is saying we should raise a CSE with all evidence and they might reopen her application. What do you all think?

Cc: happytbaby

dupyshoo:
1.She might need to provide other proofs/evidences as well that she actually did those duties. What about her appointment letter? Does it contain her duties? What percentage of the duties stated in the NOC was in the letter she submitted with her application?

2. This with more substantial evidences might work.

3. Are the 2 roles under the same employment? If yes, why did she not include the details in her previous application. Don't think this will work.

happytbaby:
I am so sorry about this.

In choosing the translation NOC, my first thoughts would be 'were the translation duties included on the reference letter?", If not, it might be better to beef up the reference letter and go with the editing NOC that was used initially, (she cannot be seen to be changing roles on the same job) the reference letter could state that they were aware of her initial rejection and that portions of her duties were omitted. She would also need to write a strong LOE about the initial rejection. We could look at this (LOE) together via PM when you are ready.

Good afternoon everyone, please I need your advice.

My sister's application got rejected after 7 months for NOC. They had called her for an interview and asked her to state her work duties. They asked her some duties which she confirmed she did them but the interviewer asked her why her boss didn't include it in the reference letter.

Long story short. She was rejected.

Now we want to reapply. My questions are:-

1. Can she get a new reference letter from her boss with all of the duties and resubmit her application? She actually did those duties but when her boss didn't include it in her initial reference and being that she had to travel a long distance to pick it up, she assumed what she had will go through and used it like that.

2. If she does the above, hope it will not be interpreted as Misrepresentation? She can beg her boss to do an affidavit confirming she did those jobs.

3. She worked as an editor but also did translation of news item. Both are on the NOC list, she applied as an editor in the rejected application, can she switch and apply as a translator now?

Kindly assist us with answers as we are heartbroken at the moment. After 7 months.
