21. In June 2004 aged 85, Mandela officially retired from public life. 33. During his time in prison, Mandela was restricted to a 2m x 2.5m cell, with nothing but a bedroll on the floor and a bucket for sanitation in it. He was consigned to hard labour in a lime quarry for much of that time and was, at first, only allowed one visitor and one letter every six months.

34. The apartheid government offered to release Mandela on no less than six occasions but he rejected them each time. On one such occasion Mandela released a statement saying: ‘I cherish my own freedom dearly, but I care even more for your freedom … What freedom am I being offered while the organisation of the people [the ANC] remains banned?‘

35. Mandela wrote a memoir during the 70s, copies of which were wrapped in plastic containers and buried in a vegetable garden which he kept at prison. Culture / Re: How Do People Actually 'Hold' The Rain? by itsik(m): 5:04pm On Aug 20, 2013
I think rain making and rain control is more of a scientific exercise than the so called "JUJU" okijajuju good evening.
I will first start with moving the rain to another part or chasing it away. I remember sometime around 2002 when I was in secondary school. Julius bedger construction company wanted to construct an new road beside my school at UTURU abia state, it wanted to rain heavily that day and they've mixed their cement for the slabs to cover one big water drainage they made. The next thing we heard was a shot and there was red smoke in the sky. Do u know that that heavy rain didn't drop one bit till the next day. But all the neighboring villages experienced rain that day.
Its just like sending dry air to go and disperce or scatter the wet cloud that's gathering. If u know the water circle well. After evaporation, comes condensation but when u have enough dry air substance to scatter or disperse this moisture containing cloud and air, the moisture will go and gather some other place it finds ok and fall there. This is done traditionally. If u notice they always burn a leaf or something which sends smoke up to the sky.

Then bringing the rain. There a lot of chemical substances that are know to attract moisture some are in gaseous form and also exist in nature is some of these shrubs and tree we see everyday. When one is able to send up into the clouds this kind of substance, they will attract moisture and cos rain. This is how rain is made artificially. Cos when air carrying water "humid air" gather and presumably the area gets saturated, the next thing we have is condensation. That's it

PLS note: this doesn't mean that there might not be diabolic ways or bringing and shifting rain. All I did was to scientifically back some of the practices. Example, like the one I said JULIUS BEDGER did.
Thanks

Religion / Re: Pope To Priests - Buy Humble Cars by itsik(m): 12:43pm On Jul 07, 2013
U people aren't even mentioning the major point he raised. Its not about humble cars or jets. He said, "when u want to buy this kinda expensive, flashy of cars remember that there are some out there hungry. Who can't even see a meal in two days" that's just it.

They shld help poor and hungry people not enriching themselves. Even the scripture said it, JESUS refused to send the crowd away hungry. He made them sit down. And fed them, his flock. He didn't multiply the fish and the bread for himself and his deciples, he gave it to the hungry and starving.
That's the message.

Re: Benedict XVI To Be Known As 'Pope Emeritus' by HugeMac: 8:49pm
Mr Ben Sun:

Please ooo dont be deceived , peter is not the first pope , there was nothing like division between the early christains , nothing like all these roman tradition , catholics are observing.
Catholic church was started by emperor constatine, at first the people of rome refused to abandon their pagan tradition for christainity thats why constatine had to introduce all these statues and cermonies to make them accept it and preserve their tradition. The romans worshiped the sun , so they changed sabath day from saturday to Sun-day. If u re a catholic during benediction just look at the type of cross the preist holds up, the cross and the rays of the sun fused together.
Paganism and christainity fused together. Why !? Am not telling u to beleive me. Do your research , MY PEOPLE PERISH FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE.

Pls gentle man above will u quietly shut up and go to bed. What's all this nonsense u people come here to write cos u have the opportunity to have interenet services and a phone or a laptop.
If u really want the list of all the popes from Peter down ask for it. He was the first fisherman and the first pope of the catholic church cos the church u know today started from there b4 it seperated. Go to proper websites or read the proper books on the history of the church b4 u come here to lay causes on urself. Don't go to a hungry blog that doesn't confirm what they upload, and cram or read up rubbish and come here to spit rubbish.
If ur church isn't organized as the catholic church and allow all manner of things in it. Know that there is one church that has been sticking to their rules and principle and isn't a respecter of any person. One person can't be bigger than the church. And has been increasing in size and number no matter how many that derails. Ok watch ur mouth and stop misleading people. Ok the history of popes took off from Peter him self. Ok
Religion / Re: Benedict XVI To Be Known As 'Pope Emeritus' by itsik(m): 5:38pm On Feb 26, 2013
For those wondering what
a fisherman's ring
means. It takes its origin from PETER the apostle. He is believed to be the first fisher of men. Which was what CHRIST addressed him as and told him to do. Its a seal which is passed on from one pope to another. And cos they are all fishers of men, so that ring is like the same ring of power the queen of england wears. But this one is the ring of power for the church and him being the head of the fishers of men (all Clergy), he alone wears the ring of authority or power.

Politics / Re: What Is Imo State Best Known For? by itsik(m): 10:02am On Jan 19, 2013
Imo is know for the high number of hotels. On average I think it should be 4 hotels per street. And also 5 tertiary institutions in just owerri town.
And the best part, since they have a lot of hotels and many tertiary institutions, the number of gurls and ladies in the town is much. I think owerri has the highest or should be the second highest in the number of love peddlerd in a city. That in owerri I can sleep with a fine young student love peddler for as low as N1k or even N1.5k. And they are happy and grateful. Some are cheaper than that. Some u won't pay, cos the just want u to come with ur flashy car and pick them from their hostel, to show their friends the type of men that wants them and the car that came to take them off or drop them. That's the in thing in owerri.
And they are also know for flexing, enjoyment or partying. That's the typical owerri person.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Pep Guardiola Appointed Next Coach Of Bayern Munich. by itsik(m): 5:30pm On Jan 16, 2013
BREAKING NEW:
Pep Guardiola will take over from Jupp Heynckes as Bayern Munich coach at the end of the season.

The 41-year-old former Barca boss left Camp Nou in 2012 having won 14 trophies with the Liga side during his four seasons in charge and has signed a deal with the Bundesliga club until 2016.

Guardiola, who has signed a three-year deal with the German side, had been linked with a hot of top-flight clubs across Europe, but Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said in a statement he was delighted to have captured the Spaniard.

"We are very happy that we managed to land the expert Pep Guardiola for our club. He was contacted by lots of big clubs," Rummenigge said.

"Pep is one of the most succesful coaches in the world and we are convoinced, that he will not only shine for Bayern but for the whole of German football. We look forward to our common work from July 2013 on.“

Heynckes, who has been in charge of the German side since 2011, told De Roten officials that he would not be continuing in his role before Christmas.

And Rummenigge praised the outgoing Bayern boss, adding that securing the Bundesliga title would be a fitting send off for Heynckes.

"As a club and as Jupp Heynckes' friends we have to show understanding for this decision. We have to accept it and we have to respect it," he said.

"During personal talks with Jupp Heynckes we assured each other that we will do anything we can, and now even more, to have a successful second half of the season 2012/13 where we want to get the title to Munich.“

Bayern currently lie top of the Bundesliga, nine points clear of second-placed Bayer Leverkusen.

Romance / Re: Types Of Men Women Should Date by itsik(m): 8:06pm On Oct 18, 2012
3. The Real Man -
No, I am not talking about machismo behavior (all the shoulders back, chest out, fist curling gestures and such)… Real men don’t need all of that. That’s what grown-boys do to get a woman’s attention. Real men “pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace” (2. Timothy 2:22). Real men regard women as a gift that is not to be taken advantage of; they see her as priceless and desire to cling to her (Matthew 19:5). A real man’s character shows his high regard for a woman long before the dating stage.

Bla bla bla, blab artist. See people its always what men can do, what a real man should do for his woman, what this man, what that man and how this man should see his woman. What's all these rubbish? What of these men? How do you women see them or are they just your pay bags or ATM machines, which is meant to vomit money once its needed otherwise he doesn't love his woman. Am just so vexed, what have most women who date men today done for their men? Or is it only sex and do his (even if they do) domestic chores?
because of the way the world made it look women come up with a whole lot of trash. A gurl will just be behaiving silly and with high expectation to land in one man's house as wife and if any misunderstanding there comes a court case of share of property that was there before you came and it almost always goes in favor of the women.

See stop all this. Its annoying, you people should some times teach our ladies, our girls, our future wives morales, its not only what a man can do for you? Be independent. Not always on the recieving end. What can u do for youe man apart from sex and domestic chores?
And see these young men as just helpers and not your fathers and pay bag.
Appreciate men too. They are trying, what's this world turning into?
Our ladies now depend on men for everything and when they don't get it it means the man doesn't love them and u see them off the go for an alternative means. Lemme just stop. But this is getting too much. Ladies ask yourselves, what can I do for my man to help him in life?

Religion / Re: Fertility Expert: 'I Can Clone A Human Being' by itsik(m): 2:37pm On Oct 15, 2012
See my own view on this cloning thing is. As far as one succeeds in creating a clone, yes it a human being. Its GOD that has the sole right to give life and once its alive and breathing meaning GOD has given it life and also a spirit and a soul. Its not possible that the clone will carry its former body's spirit, soul, flesh etc.
What the scientists succeeded in creating or replicating was the body. Even if u transfer everything in the brain of the old to the new. Its still a different soul, cos u can't make GOD start waiting or u canr delay judgement or whatever because of our scientific practices. Just, he was only able to replicate a new body (I will call it a cloise resemblance or duplicate) only for the flesh. The soul and spirit of this new one will be different and will be judged by his maker GOD differently from the old one. That's my view. I don't think any scientist has the ability to delay judgement, creat a soul or spirit or even bring back the soul of a dead people or even a living one in the name. Of cloning. Once u clone GOD gives a new soul and spirit to this person. The only thing man did was to alter his look and make him or her look like someone who is gone or dead. Even if u did it with cells that are from the former person. Its still a new soul and spirit simple.

For those that were invited. Just practice quantitative reasoning, then in verbal reasoning learn how to read short but confusing passages and be able to answer their following questions. Then be able to do abstract reasoning, that's like singling out the odd amongst a group of shapes or drawings. That's what the test is all about. The quantitative reason has some serious minded questions. Please don't waste ur time there. Just run to the easy sections or questions. U are battling time. Its 50 questions in 60mins.

Wish u all success.
