seankafor: but ehh, what's so special in this ayu that atiku is holding him so dear?
Why not this ayu resign for peace to reign
It's actually beyond Atiku. When Atiku held a meeting with the governors in London, it was agreed that Ayu will have to step down but when Atiku got back and informed his loyalists, no deal was the answer. Some of these loyalists are sworn enemies of Wike so it wasn't a surprise
Secondly, there are certain Governors like Obaseki who are threatening to leave the PDP if Ayu should resign.
Lastly, Ayu supported Atiku to emerge as the presidential candidate. It is not so easy for him to now turn his back on Ayu
larride: Atiku is not really invested in this election and i dont know why. There are rumors that he is broke and the heavyweight campaign donors are not dropping this time around.
Atiku went too hard in 2019 and that's what hurting him now.
Maybe no one wants to waste money on a lost cause.
The party used to be financed by governors.
Obaseki is a known Aka gum. I hear Udom is refusing to fund anything outside Akwaibom. I don't think nothern PDP governors have that much money to throw around. The ones who would have supported him are demanding for Ayus head.
Okowa needs to take more loans, he will need lots of it.
raumdeuter: In a 3 way race, If Buhari got those 2011 numbers in a 3 way race, he would win. If Obi got the entire SE and part of SS I think Atiku winning the North makes him winner.
Atiku still knows he will win some states in the SS
Unfortunately for him, he can't even get Buharis numbers with 14 APC governors and Kwakwanso on the side
raumdeuter: Atikus confidence is in the North that he will sweep the North. Which is very likely but what will it take him to reconcile the agrieved governors
They are not even speaking in coded language anymore, they are openly blasting Atiku now. Ortom Wike Makinde. I am sure Ikpeazu is also in bed with Obi
Sounds exactly like Buhari in 2003, 2007 and 2011. We all know how that turned out
I was watching an interview of Galadima the other day. You should see how confident he was that Kwakwanso will win. I think Atiku surrounds himself with people like Galadima who lie to him all day that he'll win.
If not, he should be begging PO and the G5 governors all day to support him.
Maybe he's just so used to losing that another loss means nothing to him.
BlueRayDick: That's the problem, if he's already not in good terms with his own party members within the state they may work against him while he's busy jumping length and breadth of the country with their G-5 gang.
We also have them in abundance here in Rivers state. Austin Opara dem. People with no relevance on the streets.
They only know how to grant interviews and make videos.
enigma0: You're right tho,buy Oyo state isn't Lagos. Ibadan is the deciding factor (Ibadan North LGA if I'm not mistaken).. Ogbomosho may go to APC, but oke-ogun, seyi has it, his deputy is from there ,
BlueRayDick: I hope u know Ibadan is just one part of Oyo State (Just like let's say how Ikeja is to Lagos)... You have other parts of Oyo State like dem Ogbomosho, Oke-Ogun, Iseyin, igboora, etc. Until u sample the opinions of people in those aforementioned places, u shouldn't be too sure o.
I understand the limitations of my small poll but I found it odd that not a single person I asked said he was voting against him. Let's even leave that. There's also another angle I'm considering . You know Makinde will most likely throw his weight behind Tinubu for the presidential election. Tinubu has to scratch his back. I even believe some deals are being struck right now.
I am. I sampled lots and lots of opinions. One told me the road to his village which is over an hour drive was tarred by Seyi Makinde. Another trader told me the previous government stopped them from selling by the roadside and seyi gave them that freedom again and that they can't gamble with other candidates.
Those who are Civil servants told me he pays them on time before the month ends.
BlueRayDick: Who I pity most in all this is Seyi Makinde, he's taking a big risk with this their G-5 thing by aligning with governors that are done with their second term like Wike, Ikpeazu, Ortom and Ugwuanyi. Those guys don't have anything to lose if their misadventure doesn't end well dem Amaechi that year.
Seyi Makinde is not sure of re-election yet; I saw a video of one of his supporters lamenting how Seyi has abandoned them. The guy was talking in his parlor and expressing his anger with Seyi Makinde to his friends. Then there's APC with Teslim Folarin breathing down his neck in his state. I just hope he's not being overconfident jumping up and down with Wike when he should be mending fences in his own state.
I was in Ibadan two months ago. Seyi has that state on lockdown. It is almost impossible for him not to win
Puli has a specific skillset of dribbling on the run which we needed to break out of the Arsenal pressure. It's not about whether you like players, its about their specific skillet
He will only end up falling like a chicken and handing the ball over to them. We have seen it happen over and over
BlueRayDick: I learnt the first series of presidential elections will be held today. Hoping all the 2023 candidates of the most popular parties will attand and tell us what and how they plan to do to salvage the country from the pit Buhari has dumped us.
We need a president that will speak to us, not buhari we have to beg to at least grant media chat once in a while
walex2: But some people can believe anything, a senior lecturer on grade level 14 on IPPIS earns between #750,000 to 850,000 depending on his or her step. So half of #750,000 is 29k ookay oo.
In your dreams. Even professors earn less than 500k
Trevor012: You have not won any top team in England this season. This arrogance has no foundation. You will be the one begging for a draw tomorrow cause that's the only result you can get.
Look at the irony. Just a couple of weeks back, your useless club was begging for a draw.
BlueRayDick: I saw on front page how EFCC has secured an interim forfeiture of Ike Ekweremadu's assets which includes 10 properties in Enugu, three in the United States of America (USA), two in the United Kingdom (UK), one in Lagos, nine in Dubai, and 15 located in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
This got me curious to know what actually Ike Ekweremadu did that made him wealthy enough to be able to acquire those properties and all I could see was a Lawyer that was called to the bar in 1987, became a LGA chairman in 1997 later became SSG till 2002 and won senatorial seat in 2003. Like this guy has spent 25 years as a politician and that's how he's been able to amass that much wealth from being a regular lawyer.
So when next u see Keyamo on TV sounding stupiiid just to please his pay masters, don't be offended. Man's just out there trying to secure a bigger bag.
I was shocked!!! How much is his total salary in all the positions he has held.
To think these are the ones they know. I bet there are more hidden across the nation and beyond.
I can only imagine how much wealth those who have governed states would have amassed.
