I understand. There are structural issues here. I mean, assuming these ones are incarcerated, organise another protest tomorrow in the north and there are thousands of others like them.

When the plaintiff withdraws his case, case is over. That's what I had earlier suggested here and that's what happened. Except you're saying the judge that had earlier set bail at 10m came back on his own to release them

I dont know how true this man’s claim is , but it feels kinda Awkward BUA cement in Oyo state and the VAT will be paid to Lagos state because BUA group is headquartered in Lagos .

Initially I thought the proposed tax reform bill as it concerns sharing of VAT will ensure VAT goes to the state where the goods are consumed ; but this governor’s explanation is suggesting something else

Wike instituted a lawsuit against FIRS and the FG challenging this centralised VAT collection. He won at the Federal High Court, FIRS filed a stay of execution at the court of appeal which was granted then Wike took the case to the supreme court.

Unfortunately, before the case was heard by the Supreme court, Wike had started romancing with APC and that was the last we heard about it.

Wikes influence in my opinion is exaggerated. Remember he lost his own election at the tribunal and court of appeal. More recently, the former LG chairmen loyal to him lost their case at the appeal court.
