That's selfishness na . Maybe the part of the state u live in has decent infrastructures built by Wike's administration , but what about other parts of the state that still need development ?

Anyways sha maybe Rivers is not like Lagos and violence doesn't really scare u guys cos I can't imagine if this kinda thing was happening in Lagos; let's say pro Wike and pro Fuabra people are fighting in places like Ikeja , Oshodi, Obalende, CMS, Iyana Ipaja...etc. its as good as the whole state is on fire and almost everybody will lose their peace.

That's where I'm coming from; even u that claim to have everything u need will be living in fear for ur properties when things like that happen

The bolded is very true. Over priced plots of land in Lagos. Infact,they are already selling the future value as current prices.. anyone with dollars should totally avoid buying land. That dollar won't appreciate if you do your conversions.

There's one selling land at the outskirts of Ibadan. That place won't develop in the next 10 years.. what's the point. ? Unless you are buying for your children still in primary school.

looks impressive until you realise MPR is 24.75% while inflation was 33% in April.

Real rate of return is significantly negative and may never be positive till the maturity of those bonds. Nigeria has had inflation above 18% since mid 2022 and it has progressively risen since then.

If you invested in those bonds with the mindset of buying an asset in Nigeria, based on the inflation data , you are likely to be out of pocket when the bonds mature two- three years later.

The high rate could tickle foreign investors though, as inflation in Nigeria does not affect them. For them the main fear is the FX rate which this administration has not demonstrated an ability to manage.

Ministry of Education takes like 7 to 12 days like larride said, but Ministry of Foreign Affairs process is within 24 to 48 hours.

If you can speak Hausa, added advantage to fast track the process.

You'll have to do legalization of your documents including your school transcript and all at the ministry of education in Abuja. The legalization process take between 7 - 12 weeks but it can be fast tracked (if you know you know). Then you have to do for your birth certificate, marriage certificate and other documents from the ministry of foreign affairs.
