BlueRayDick: Itsrm Tinubu and Wale Edun are coming for those dollars una don stash away o
https://www.nairaland.com/7938974/govt-targets-dollars-nigerians-hands So dollar wey we buy at black market rate, they will bring it into the banking sector and give us naira equivalent at CBN rate. Make dem dey play 😂 Besides, how much can we ordinary citizens stash away? They know the people stashing the real money, they should start from them. |

BlueRayDick: Come to think of it, What if Wike's guys somehow impeach Fubara and Fubara no gree vacate the seat; wetin go happen ? We are slowly getting there. As it stands, both factions will continue sitting in obedience to their various court orders. When it gets to that point, I believe whoever has the Federal might wins. |

BlueRayDick: itsrm I guess this will be one of the many court judgments that will be flying up and down Rivers state in this long drawn out battle.
I am actually interested in the argument of Ehie Edison's lawyers that convinced the Judge to confirm him as authentic speaker even when he was elected by just 5 house members.
Nigerian Judiciary ehn; I'm sure the other guy too will get his own judgment from another high court soon. This current court order did not affirm Ehie Edison as speaker. Just said the other faction should not conduct any sitting and not disrupt the activity of Ehie until the judgment is given. Meanwhile, you're right. They also have their court order from an Abuja high court. Court orders are for sale. You just have to find a judge willing to sell https://leadership.ng/court-orders-rivers-assembly-to-perform-its-functions-restrains-fubara-from-withholding-funds-removing-clerk-others/ |

TemporaryHansel: The people I even used in my example don't pay house rent. To let you know how worse the situation has gotten.
I don't want to be a pessimist, I just want tinubu to prove me wrong and come good. I also had a little hope and was optimistic but not anymore If things are ever going to get better, we would have known. Besides, what of the state governors? Most of them are low key fllying under the radar doing nothing. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 2:41pm On Dec 12, 2023 |
TemporaryHansel: The country is finished. As at two years ago, people earning 500-600k monthly could be classified as okay. I know many people in this category, they were enjoying properly and keeping certain standards. Today, same folks cannot maintain the lifestyle they used to, and always complaining bitterly. If people earning 500k monthly are struggling I wonder how larride is coping.
Tinubu really needs to find a way to come good, because if things keep going this way I'm not sure Nigerians will be able to keep their much revered title of "adjusters". They will adjust to a certain point, and say no, we can no longer adjust. It's either you give us the good governance we want or we all go to the afterlife. Especially for those who live in big cities, Fueling, children's school fees and house rent will easily take more than 200k from that 600 a month. Feeding, clothing(especially for children who are still growing), car maintenance will take another 200k+ Family members, church activities, donations, can easily eat another 20-50k monthly. There goes your 600k salary. If care is not taken, all you do is live from hand to mouth on 600k. |

BlueRayDick: Church agbasa!
Na wetin una supposed talk first be this na
So all the political analysts for AriseTV, Channels TV, Nigeria info, etc just dey waste their time dey analyse rubbish for us since Make dem dey play You will see a polling unit with less than 50 people coming to vote. During collation at the LGA , they will change it to 900 And good luck getting the exact accreditation figures on BVAS from INEC to prove your case. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 9:25am On Dec 12, 2023 |
BlueRayDick: Is it that they don’t have loyal supporters on ground or their money no long again ? Because elections and votes don't matter in this state. What matters is who has the machinery to influence and write results in his favour. That machinery as of this moment belongs to Wike. Don't forget that Wikes cousin is the current INEC rec in the state. It is he who determines who the actual collation officers will be. I mean, the collation officer on paper can be Mr A. The actual person who will do the collation will be Mr B who has firm instructions to influence results a certain way. It goes beyond having loyal supporters and even money. It will be interesting to see what Fubara can pull being the governor but all the people I've seen so far coming to him are irrelevant. |

I sha hope FG will not later declare state of emergency in that state in this new year we dey enter. All these people are politically dead as far as Rivers State politics is concerned. Amaechi was still trying when he had federal might behind him. Not anymore |

izzou: Which part favours the defected 27 HOA members? The supreme court ruled that election will only be cancelled if there is no factionalisation within the party and members defect. That's the part PDP clearly avoided in their press release. If you read the other letter Rufai Oseni posted in the link by seankafor, the lawyer tried to claim that there's no factionalisation within the party. Goodluck arguing it out in court seeing how the different factions have been procuring court orders against each other |

BlueRayDick: Na this matter we go take know if Wike’s connect at the Supreme Court still strong like before . Even if the election is cancelled which is not even possible seeing as PDP is only quoting the part of the supreme court judgment that favours them, all 27 of them will win the next election. |

Theflint1: It's 2400% increase, which gives an average increase of 400%, year on year.
Let's say the seventh and eight-year percentage growth dropped as low as 50% and 30% respectively, Oasis's guy would have grown that initial capital of 2 million to 97.5m by the 8th year. It's not quite 400m, and for obvious reasons (I dropped growth rate steeply), but a pattern is emerging.
Let's say again that Oasis's guy continued to grow at the average rate from the previous 6 years (400% ), Oasis's guy would be expected to be worth 1.25 billion by the 8th year, and that my friend, is the arithmetic of compounding. Interesting |
