BlueRayDick: Yeah. Maybe if Buhari had listened to voice f reason and reverse some of the unreasonable decisions he took the Nigerian economy would’ve not have plummeted to this level .
As much as I don’t believe in Tinubu’s presidency , I always find it commendable that he takes reverse on some policies when there’s public outcry against such policies Yes, that part is commendable. And it's always funny seeing his supporters who have argued in favour of one position turn around to argue otherwise when he reverses his decision |

How do I go about the court order? Is it from an high court? I'll be willing to give it a chance as that's my last hope . I know how financially exhausting approaching the police may be, not when I don't any money.. Yes, you can approach any court for it. |

Evening to all reputable peoples here. Forgive me of this my lengthy write up but I'm here to seek advice on how to go about the ugly situation I found myself in. I've been an ardent follower of this thread since it's inception but I rarely comment as I assumed by age I'll be the youngest here and as I was brought up, when elders are talking, the young ones only listen and learn. In relation to the link I posted up, I contact the seller of the said phone in order to get the phone as the current one I was using had started malfunctioning ever since I changed the screen month ago. The seller is located at Ado-ekiti as he said while I'm based in Ibadan, after agreeing on price as he said he needed the money urgently for his children school fees, I asked of how to go about payment and delivery, he said I'll have to pay first which I didn't agree to, I suggest we make use of a reputable nairalander as an escrow which he didn't subscribe to. I didn't follow up again as that was a red flag for me, he claimed to be honest that he didn't need an escrow for his service. Just last weekend, we got back to talking when he questioned about how I won't run off with the phone without paying, I told him that it won't be the first time I'll be getting things online, he asked me for any means of identification which I told him I have none as I'm just seeking admission to UI and my workplace doesn't have one but I provided him my NIN. He later told me that (omo ìyá mi ni e -i.e I'm also his kin being a Yoruba boy). He agreed to send the phone after which I'll pay 45k outta the 60k we agreed on, I'll balance him later. We talked more on where to deliver it to when he made mention of iworoad, gate etc that he do frequent Ibadan that it's just because of his work hence he would have made the delivery himself, he asked of my details. On Tuesday , yesterday., He called me in the morning that he'll be taking the package together with him to the motor park on his way to work, and I told him I will transfer the money as soon as I get to work using a colleague phone as I had to sell my phone to add to the money since the phone is becoming more faulty. Around 10am, I called him, he said I should give him an hour that he couldn't went to the park again that he'll be in an hour time,. This is where I made the foolish mistake of sending him the 45k cos I'd believe him to be legit as per say we relate well together being of the same tribe. He called me back around midday to tell me that he'd got to the park and made the delivery that I may even get it before the day end. I called him back at to ask of the driver's number but he didn't pick up and the number had been switched off since. It went through today on way back home from work around 7pm which wasn't picked also but not going through anymore.
I know I messed up a big time sending money to an unknown person whose only number and account details I know of as he uses a zenith bank account. I've gotten items from unknown person on NL without knowing them, Jboixxx on the phone section from far Taraba is someone I've never seen, I only send him money and sleep, I'm sure I'll get the delivery, I paid 180k for a phone I got for someone from Meister without ever knowing him, the phone I was using before was gotten from saint2ace and he delivered. Please 🙏 how do I go about the situation and get the money back? It's my last fund, I don't have any phone on me to even check my admission status as it's speculated that UI will release cut off marks this week. I'm thinking of going to report to police station and file a report against the account at a zenith bank branch here. Pls, I need help, his contact info is 09159728821 The best you can do is approach zenith bank with a court order asking them to put a lien equivalent to the value on the recipients account and to initiate reversal to you. The money will be reversed in 7 days. I think the court order costs 5% of the value of the money. This is also assuming the money is still in the account. If you go the police route, they can track him for you but you will spend more than the 45k. Not worth it. Don't even waste your time with EFCC. The money is too small. |

GloriousGbola: This is the same guy who thought 200k is generous as a salary. Understand that you are engaging a sheltered person without responsibilities.
Rent and school fees constitute significant spend that you must plan ahead for. If you are a salary earner you must set aside. If you are a business owner you need a bulk payment.
I miss the days of paid employment because I had January school fees on lock back then. I set up my finances such that my leave allowance, 13th month and turkey allowance all combined in December.
Those days are gone now. You don talk am finish Mine is set up similarly. Leave allowance pays rent and 1st term school fees. January upfront pays second term school fees. 13th month goes to parents for December expenses. And before Melvin comes, all the allowances are also a part of your salary. Some companies allow you compress everything and receive alongside your monthly salary. |

PuZZyNegro: This is common in Port Harcourt. Unlike Lagos, they don't show them the price estimate.
When I went to Port Harcourt and booked Bolt, the driver asked that we do offline for 2500 while the online was 2800.
Nothing like Bonus there. Lagos drivers are enjoying. And the incident of killing riders and drivers is very prevalent there too. The driver that drove me said that about eight Bolt drivers have been killed of recent there. How can people be killing because of ordinary Corolla.
Meanwhile, do we need to create a Twitter thread to stop this thing Bolt is doing. A rider was complaining to me yesterday how a driver that's at Ogba picked her request while she's inside Unilag Estate, Magodo.
I explained to her that it's not the driver's fault but Bolt's. In an attempt to avoid blocking and balance the stats, we pick the request even when we know that it's impossible to carry out the order.
Below is the trip that came just before hers. I accepted it and the rider cancelled immediately. All lies to deceive you and swindle bolt of their commission. Port Harcourt drivers see price estimate. I also believe they get bonuses but I'm not sure. Ksmart027 can confirm |

Personally I think this os worth celebrating
The Lagos state government and the LSSTF they set up that equips RRS has been a success . Armed robbers don’t just feel convinced they can walk into any bank in the remotest part of Lagos; rob a bank and walk free .
That alone is worth celebrating cos this Lagos everybody eyes dey chook Or maybe bank robberies have just reduced nation wide. I can't remember any in Rivers State as well in the last four years. There was a time it was very common. |

What kind of growing children will require you to buy clothes monthly? The only thing you have mentioned that are given are feeding and fueling. What kind of ridiculous statement is this? If you can read Arabic or French which is the media language in Algeria you will see similar news. They didnt vote APC No be 2013 I dey see in the screenshot? You said Egypt and Algeria have a higher income per head than Nigeria. Isn't that also an indictment on the government? Because I just can’t understand why anybody in his right senses will leave normal commercial banks that are partially protected by NDIC and then keep their money with those funny banks .
Is it ignorance or they bewitched them ?
Even normal commercial banks , if u have 100m deposited with them and the bank fails ; NDIC will only pay u 500k which is the Maximum insured sum they can guarantee .
