One year after losing his wife, Apostle Anselm Madubuko of Revival Assembly Church is getting married to a 33-year-old Kenyan gospel singer, Emmy Kosgei. But people are beginning to ask questions, if one year is not too short for him to move on with another woman. Pastor Anselm has a contrary opinion. See the reasons he give below: "It is how I have chosen to do it. I have decided to move on. I found out that even 10 years will not be enough to forget my late wife. 20 years still will not be enough to forget my late wife. The time anybody remarries has nothing to do with your former partner. And that's one thing people fail to understand. We were married for many years and suddenly I was left alone. It's about many things, companionship. "Once that person close to you goes, you can never forget the person. It is a matter of picking up one's pieces and moving on. I can't forget Connie, she was my life, it's just about moving on. I don't listen to people. If you re-marry or don't re-marry people must talk. "I thought I wasn't going to re-marry but God said that is not his plans for me. He chose Emmy Kosgei for me. I chose to trust God more than my mind. I am looking forward to having more children," he told Encomium magazine.

How to hack any Facebook account in under a minute, by sending just one SMS Graham Cluley | June 28, 2013 8:28 am | Filed under: Facebook, Mobile, Privacy, Vulnerability | 7 Facebook mobile phoneA UK-based security researcher going by the name of “fin1te” has earned himself $20,000 after uncovering a way to hack into any account on Facebook, just by sending a mobile phone text message. This should – obviously – have been impossible, but due to a weakness in Facebook’s tangled nest of millions and millions of lines in code, potentially hundreds of millions of accounts were vulnerable to hijacking through the simple technique. Fin1te (real name Jack Whitten) has documented how the hack works on his blog. The first thing to do is send the letter “F” in an SMS message to Facebook, as though you were legitimately registering your mobile phone with the social network. In the UK, the SMS shortcode for Facebook is 32665. Send an SMS to Facebook Facebook responds, via SMS, with an eight character confirmation code. The normal sequence of events would be to enter that confirmation code into a Facebook form, and go on your merry way… Facebook mobile activation form But fin1te discovered that a vulnerability existed on that form, that could be exploited to use the confirmation code he had been sent by Facebook via SMS with *anyone* else’s account. What fin1te had uncovered was that one of the elements of the mobile activation form contained, as a parameter, the user’s profile ID. That’s the unique number associated with your intended target’s account. Profile ID parameter inside form Change the profile ID that is sent by that form to Facebook, and the social network might be duped into thinking you are someone else linking a mobile phone to their account. Therefore, the first step needed to hijack someone’s account in this way requires your victim’s unique Facebook profile ID. If you don’t know what someone’s numeric profile ID is, you can always look it up using freely-available tools – they aren’t supposed to be a secret. Find a Facebook profile ID Sure enough, fin1te was able to replace the profile ID parameter sent by his browser to Facebook with the unique number of the account he wanted to access… Facebook hack data .. and within seconds his his mobile phone was sent an SMS confirming that he had successfully connected the device to the account. Facebook confirmation SMS Success. A Facebook account now has a third-party’s mobile phone number associated with it. Without any need for malware or phishing. All that was done was to send an SMS text message. The final stage of the account hijacking is straightforward. Facebook allows you to log into its system using your mobile number rather than an email address if you want, so at login you enter the mobile phone number you have associated with your victim’s account, and request a password reset via SMS. Reset code Sure enough, fin1te discovered that Facebook duly sent him the password reset code for the account – meaning he could change the account’s password, and lock out its legitimate user. This is an incredibly simple but powerful way to take over anybody’s Facebook account. The good news is that fin1te disclosed the vulnerability responsibly to Facebook, rather than exploited it for malicious intentions or sold it to other parties. Facebook has fixed the problem so others can no longer take advantage of this serious security hole. For his troubles, Facebook awarded fin1te a hefty $20,000 worth of bug bounty and fixed the vulnerability. But there’s no doubt that on the underground market, perhaps sold to cybercriminals or intelligence agencies, fin1te’s discovery could have earned him even more money. Who knows what other serious security vulnerabilities may lay inside Facebook that haven’t been responsibly reported to the company’s security team? If you are on Facebook, and want to be kept up to date on the latest privacy and security risks threatening users, be sure to Like the “Graham Cluley Security News” Facebook page

Frank-C:Mr Frank, you have said it all......Nothing left to say. |
Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ahmed Gulak, on Monday accused the five northern Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors, who recently embarked on nation- wide consultations to douse the political tension in the country, of disrespecting President Goodluck Jonathan. The state governors are Sule Lamido (Jigawa) , Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano), Aliyu Wamakko (Sokoto), Babangida Aliyu (Niger) and Murtala Nyako (Adamawa). Gulak, however, included Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State in the list of disrespectful state governors. Gulak, speaking through his Political Affairs Assistant, Godwin Akpovie, was reacting to a statement in which Gov. Lamido made reference to him as “a boy.” It would be recalled that the Jigawa governor had taken the presidential aide to the cleaners for asking that the differences between the five governors and the President be settled internally instead of embarking on national consultations. But apparently taken aback by the statement, Lamido described it as “offensive and disrespectful” coming from that “boy”, Gulak. But Gulak on Monday wondered why the governor was asking for respect when he and his other colleagues had not shown same to the President. He said, “The other day, in company with some other governors, led by Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State, they (the five northern governors) walked leisurely into a function in which President Jonathan was already seated. “Is that not an affront to the office of Mr. President? How many of them will allow their commissioners to walk into a function in which they are already seated? “As part of resolving their so-called differences with Mr. President, they are demanding the sacking of some key personnel in Mr. President’s administration, including Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, the National Chairman of the Peoples Demoratic Party. “Again, can anybody, including Mr. President, order them to appoint so and so individuals as commissioners in their respective states?” He also accused the governors of keeping quiet when the interim chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Chief Bisi Akande, called Jonathan a ‘kindergarten’ President. “If l may ask; are they still members of the PDP? If they still are, why are they more critical of the President than even the opposition? “Respect is reciprocal. Anyone who wants to propagate equity must come with clean hands. You cannot demand respect when you refuse to accord same to a higher office. “Besides, what is disrespectful in advising that it is more decent to explore and exhaust all internal mechanisms to resolve any perceived grievances?” He queried.

TRUE FEDERALISM: THE SOLUTION TO NIGERIA'S LINGERING PROBLEMS There have been ethnic and religious tensions around the world, and in some cases have resulted to devastating wars. Examples of such tensions were found in the Former Yugoslavia, which disintegrated into seven countries vis- Slovenia, Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, and Bosnia. We also have the post-Soviet states, also commonly known as the Former Soviet Union or Former Soviet Republics, are the 15 independent states that emerged from the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics in its dissolution in December 1991. The three Baltic states restored their independence on the basis of state continuity; while the remaining 12 republics are deemed to have seceded from the Soviet Union and are thus referred to as the Newly Independent States, viz Armenia; Azerbaijan; Belarus; Estonia; Georgia; Kazakhstan; Kyrgyzstan; Latvia; Lithuania; Moldova; Russia; Tajikistan; Turkmenistan; Ukraine; Uzbekistan - (Wikipedia). Sudan is another example. Since gaining independence from Britain and Egypt in 1956, Sudan has experienced more years of conflict than peace. These conflicts, fought between the Sudanese government and movements arising within Sudan, are commonly rooted in the exploitative leadership of the Government of Sudan, and the unequal distribution of power and wealth among the Sudanese population. These internal tensions drove the country's decades-long civil war, which led to South Sudan’s secession from Sudan on July 9, 2011 -(enoughproject.org). With the above examples in mind, Nigeria should strive towards resolving her lingering problems by adopting a different structure for governance. The map below could be used as the demarcations for the federating units in the entrenchment of TRUE FEDERALISM, as against the country splitting up into independent units. In all fairness, we need a very strong country, but for effectiveness and to reduce the unnecessary tensions, power should be devolved and decentralised to the federating units, which in turn will lead to accelerated socio-economic and infrastructural development. The current structure foisted on us by the selfish colonialist hasn't worked and there appears to be no meaningful headway as a result of the ethnic/tribal; religious; and regional bigotry of the selfish and greedy POLITICAL CLASS and their sycophantic followers and supporters. MAKE HAY WHILE THE SUN SHINES.
