discusant: But that Python does not bite, and it's not carrying venoms.
In many SE Communities, it's an abomination to kill such Python.
. Very correct. It's even against nature to kill, unprovoked. That's murder. And its against the laws of Creation to kill a nursing or gestatory mother or kid. The worst mistake that man will do to himself (and by extention , his family) is to kill that gestating mother python. It will be a total reversal of the blessings he was privileged by Mercy to obtain from THE LORD of Creation, and a brutal curse will be unleashed on his family according to the number of kids he has left motherless. 7 years from now and 7 generations. Until THE LORD shows his lineage Mercy again. If he is ignorant of the consequence of his actions, the punishment will not be as severe as if he were aware of his actions. Nevertheless because ignorance is not an excuse in the affairs of Nature and Existence, he shall surely bear the brunt of punishment.
Oya time for your speech. Now you will tell me about the moral decay in the west, as if there is no lack of humanity in parts of Africa.
Or you will come with one gradiose opening and explain why i have dementia
Anyway its all outstanding speech
Well at least you are a Hollywood adherent, you don't even need to travel all the way there to witness it. It has been brought to your bedroom and to your palms through their "technology", so you won't say you are ignorant anymore
Lets look at it closely, the Light in your house was invented by the white man
The TV, LAPTOP, PHONES was invented by a white man.
The Electricity you use to power you home, abi, to run your refrigerator, Air conditioner, was invented by a white man
The cooking cylinder and pressurized gas was invented by the white man
The road network that is wide and confortable was invented by the white man
The plumbing system that manages your waste, the principles were discovered by the white man
The medicines you use was invented by the white man
The transport you use, that you enjoy that can take you from one country to another that you are boasting about was invented by the white man.
Tell me what our civilization created that is still relevant and useful not just personally but for the public.
We have challenges yet we don't use our knowledge to make life better for ourselves rather we use it to destroy ourselves
I may say it seems we dont share knowledge easily it tends to be hidden and how can it help when it is not shared or forgotten.
Or we may use our knowledge to boast and oppress.
The fact is when it comes to knowledge give it to whom it is due, I give it to the white man or Asian. When it comes to speech i will give you that, you are good in speech.
Almost everything around you that you use and interact with was due to the white mans knowledge, which was practicalized or shared.
Your level of ignorance is the reason I'll have to direct you to do some small work. I'm sure you haven't heard the name Royal Science Academy, Thebes. Egypt. This is only one of the many Educational centers littered all over Africa in the B.C era, I'm talking before Elam or even Akkadia of the Near East even became world powers. At this period even Europa (a daughter of one of the then maritime powers of the world- Phoenicia- the China of that era) who is the mother of the founding fathers & daughters of Greece and other peoples of the continent which is named after her, had not even been born. And I'm sure you don't know that it's the Greeks who civilized Europe as a result of their interactions, contact and blood ties with Asia. It was they who transferred the civilization brought by Asia unto their European kin. But that's by the way. I won't be the one to teach you about the Hellenization of Europe also known as the civilization of Europe. What you just need for now is to know your continent's contribution to the civilization of this Earth. So go and look up the Royal Science Academy, Thebes. Of Ancient Egypt. Then after your research, you can come back and we continue. Till then, enjoy yourself. After all, everyone will not be free though freedom is meant for everyone.
Kalashnikov49: The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafran, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, says he remains committed to his advocacy that the people of the Southeast Nigeria should have the right to determine whether they want to remain in Nigeria’s structure or to leave.
Kanu stated this in an address presented on his behalf at the 2026 annual convention of the American Veterans of Igbo Descent held in Duluth, Georgia, United States, from October 9 to 11.
Kanu, in the address entitled “An Address to the American Veterans of Igbo Descent,” said he would not negotiate the existence of the Igbo people or accept political arrangements that fail to provide for a referendum on the Biafran sovereignty
Quoting him, “I will not negotiate the existence of my people. I will discuss referendum and nothing else. My subject is one subject: the right of Biafrans to say, in a free vote, whether they will live as a people under their own roof. I am available for a referendum.”
Kanu distanced himself from alleged proposals based on political appointments, restructuring or another conference. According to him, such discussions would not address “the fundamental right of Biafrans to decide their future through a free vote”.
THE WHISTLER reports that Kanu is currently serving life imprisonment in Sokoto after being found guilty of treason. He has however appealed his conviction.
Kanu commended AVID for its support for his release and its efforts to draw international attention to his detention. He urged the Igbo veterans and other pro-Biafra organisations to sustain their campaign for his release and that of other Biafrans being unjustly detained.Access Services
He thanked the President of AVID, Dr Sylvester Onyia, for repeatedly travelling to Abuja to attend court proceedings during his detention. He said Onyia also visited him in hospital and continued advocating for his release when his case appeared to be losing public attention.
Kanu said, “You (Onyia) did not advocate from a safe distance. You travelled to Abuja again and again while I was held in solitary confinement.”
He also acknowledged the efforts of Rising Sun and Ambassadors for Self-Determination, noting that the group has been supporting his improved welfare.
The address added, “I expect you to continue that unflinching support for my release and for the release of every Biafran locked up unjustly. Do not grow weary. The work is not finished.”
Kanu claimed that the Nigerian government had interfered with IPOB’s internal leadership structure and attempted to create divisions within the organisation, adding that individuals he accused of betraying the movement had been removed from the organisation.
“When the Nigerian government succeeded in penetrating the Third Administration of our Directorate of State, many who once spoke loudly fell silent, or worse, became instruments of confusion,” he said, adding that, “That administration has been dissolved. Those who betrayed the family have been sacked and expelled from the IPOB worldwide family.”
He commended AVID for writing to British officials, including the Prime Minister, the Foreign Secretary and the United Kingdom High Commission in Nigeria, to raise concerns about his detention. He maintained that he was abducted in Kenya and unlawfully transferred to Nigeria.
According to him, “You put the United Kingdom on the record. History will remember who wrote and who looked away.”
Kanu also criticised the judicial for mishandling his case, describing the proceedings and the outcome as unjust. He affirmed that his prolonged detention and solitary confinement had failed to dampen his determination to pursue Biafran independence.
He said, “I have spent eight years of my life in detention in pursuit of the only goal that matters to me, and indeed to all of us: a peaceful homeland called Biafra. Not a slogan. A country. Not revenge. Safety. Not chaos. Order under our own law. I am not available for any bargain that leaves Biafra unnamed. I am available for a referendum. I am available for the work of a free people.
Sports event outcome Investors a.k.a Punters cartel are only a joke. Come see a man who staked his life on a single game. The General Extraordinaire. This man eventually wins, and the bookies are burst forever.
Stephen0mozzy: I often feel I was lucky to have experienced being in a relationship sha. I norva date girls wey dey skosko.
Anyways, I saw this quote earlier today, and mehn, it sounded sooooo reallllll.... Like, flesh and blood did not reveal this to the guy.
So here's my question to you guys, from your experience, is this really true for most women?
Share your personal experience with being in a relationship with the type of woman referenced in the quote 👇🏾
When one is damaged by default, the damage could be lying latent within their nature until it's activated by awakening actions. As it is for the woman, so it is for the man. But it's more occurrent among the female kind because women are wild by nature. Despite this, it all comes down to choice. What you choose to give in to is what becomes. For there are still beautiful women out there who, despite their awareness of the desire in them to go wild with misbehavior at the scent of the littlest show of unnecessary affection, still choose to remain on good conduct; for themselves, and for their man. Same also goes for the men.
Deeaka: I have been thinking about something that I believe many salary earners can relate to.
Sometimes, once people know that you have a good job, they automatically assume that you have money.
You become the person they call when school fees need to be paid, when someone needs urgent assistance, when there is a family problem or when an unexpected bill comes up.
And honestly, helping people you care about is not a bad thing. Most of us want to be able to support our parents, siblings and other loved ones.
But there is something people don't always consider: earning a good salary does not mean that all your money is available to spend.
You have your own bills, savings goals, responsibilities and plans for the future. Some of us are also trying to build a life that will make us less financially dependent on our salaries someday.
The tricky part is that when you start saying no, people may think you have changed, become proud or forgotten where you came from.
Meanwhile, you may simply be trying to make your own money last until your next payday.
So I want to ask:
1. Do you think earning a good salary automatically makes someone responsible for helping extended family? 2. Have you ever had to choose between helping someone and meeting your own financial goals? 3. How do you set boundaries without damaging family relationships?
I'd genuinely like to hear people's experiences, especially from those who support family members while trying to build their own financial future
Family is first and last. However a family that does not appreciate you when you don't have won't appreciate you when you have. And a family that appreciates you when you don't have, will also appreciate you when you have. Understanding and Loyalty are not bought with money. A family that respects, understands and is loyal to you does so whether you are poor or rich. What you owe your family is loyalty and duty. Loyalty is always within your power so it should not lack. Duty, on the other hand, is not always within your power because duty requires means to fulfill it. And the financial/economic means has a huge share in the ratio of means. And this is not always in your power. Now you, in fulfilling your duty, are the best person to know how huge or how small your means are for you alone are earning it. And You alone know the size of your obligation, in the family duty quota. You alone know, how many other plans you have for yourself and for your family ( if at all). In fact you alone are wearing the shoe. If your shoe size is 48 and what you have is 45, if you decide to manage the 45 and endure the pain because you are currently preparing to acquire 48 or 50 in the future. It's all good, all your toes and your heels have to do are to acclimatize to the condition, they don't have to understand your choice or decision. And if you decide to acquire the 48 now by any means maybe due to the volume of complaints (pain) coming from your feet region. It's still all good, so far you get the means and it all ends well in the end for you, the new shoe and your feet. Simply put, you hold the yam and the knife. You decide how it's cut, for the greater good (i.e both your personal good & the general good- in your case, family).
abellmanuell: There is one question that can humble even the most decisive person:
“What do you want to eat?” 😭
Suddenly, you don’t know what you want.
You’re hungry, but rice doesn’t sound appealing. You think about spaghetti, then change your mind. You consider swallow, but somehow you’re still not convinced. At this point, you’re not looking for food anymore. You’re looking for a sign from heaven. 😂
The “Anything Is Fine” Problem
Have you ever asked someone what they want to eat, and they said, “Anything”?
You start suggesting meals. Rice? “No.”
Spaghetti? “I’m not in the mood.”
Amala? “Not today.”
So what exactly does anything mean? 😭
And the funniest part? When you finally choose something, they suddenly remember what they’ve been craving all along.
Honestly this could because you’ve Eaten Everything Too Many Times
Sometimes, the problem isn’t that there’s no food. It’s that you’ve eaten the same meals so often that nothing excites you anymore.
Rice again? Beans again? The same meal you had yesterday?
You want something different, but you don’t even know what that something is.
And if you’re on a budget, the decision becomes even more complicated. You want something tasty, filling and affordable without spending money unnecessarily.
So, How Do You Make the Decision Easier?
First, think about what you’re actually craving. Do you want a proper meal, something light or just a quick snack? Next, consider your budget and how hungry you are. You don’t need to spend 30 minutes comparing every meal available.
And if you’re in Minna and don’t feel like going out to look for food, you can explore available meal options on Foodrive, place your order and have it delivered to you.
Sometimes, seeing the options in front of you makes the decision much easier.
Let’s Settle This Once and for All 😂
If someone asked you what you wanted to eat right now, would you:
A. Say rice without thinking twice. B. Say “anything” and reject every suggestion. C. Check your budget before considering anything. D. Spend 30 minutes deciding and still end up eating noodles.
Be honest. Which one are you? 😂🍽️
there are many factors that determine choice of feeding at a given time; * Level of hunger *Appetite *Health status *Availability of what to eat * Financial capacity or means *Emotional/psychological status. *Environmental conditions *Spiritual factors ...Etc
Glimpsetv: A man has reportedly discovered a large python and a clutch of eggs hidden inside his house, leaving him visibly shocked by the unexpected discovery.
In a short video shared online, a man dressed in simple traditional clothing walks into a modest room and lifts what appears to be a rug, revealing a thick, patterned python coiled around a cluster of white eggs.
Clearly startled by what he finds, the man points at the reptile and gestures in disbelief as the camera zooms in to capture the python and its eggs.
The original video, shared by @harrysone9, carries the caption: “A man was living with a huge python in his home without even knowing it. 😳🐍”
The footage has prompted reactions from viewers, with some expressing fear and disbelief at the thought of having such a large snake inside a home without knowing it.
However, the exact location of the incident and how long the python may have been inside the house remain unclear.
Watch the video and listen as the man narrates his encounter with the snake.
Don't thank me, till after it works. Even after it works, don't thank me. Thank THE LORD, THE CREATOR and GIVER of knowledge, matter and nature to heal. I'm only a messenger. I'm nothing.
Thewrath: I am confidently saying his chances are very low if he is already above the preferred age limits, and that’s a fact!
Teenagers don’t have have regrets at teenage age when life is just starting. You begin to regret when you have come to an age of realization and that is where the OP is at the moment which will make it difficult for him to adapt to the system….this is what elders see while sitting down.
You are not even confident on your reply, hence this "explanations". Reason is because you don't have experience of what you are trying to claim. You're are only presuming. I wish the OP will declare his age and indicate interest in going the Igba boi way, then let's test something.
Thewrath: You just don’t seem to understand thing about igba boi,you are basing your opinions on theory, rather practical (what works).
Yes,you can find adults who went for nwa boy (and by adults I mean not not more than 25) who went for nwa boi but I have given you reasons in my posts above why there is an unofficial age limit which the bosses follow or are you saying my reasons are invalid even when they represent current realities? The risks are too high for a boss to accept an adult nwa boi as compared to the benefits!
The percentage of bosses that will reject an adult for igba boi is significant higher which makes it a majority.
Do you even know what the “NWA” in nwa boi means? That is reflection of the age category it stands for!
Are you saying that if the OP is willing and ready to learn a trade or skill now through the Igba boi system, no one will take him in ?
Thewrath: It is not a crime or illegal to be in a hurry or to be hungry for wealth. What makes it different for people is the age brackets you fall under. The point about igba boi is that it has an unofficial age restriction which I have I have listed the reasons above.
And like I said earlier, the Igbo apprentice guild does not have any age limit or restriction . It's not an Age grade system, its a school system. Is there any age limit or restrictions on schooling? Why is this so hard to comprehend. Like I said, go and do your research and see whether you won't find adults who went through it as adults and even those who are still undergoing it currently.
SixSeven: You gave him a good prayer because when he travels, he will see the work of his ancestors in their museums. Well documented and hidden from public view.
That's the least I could do for him now, though people like him when they know the truth it fires and propels them to do extreme things for the cause. And I pray he ends up knowing the truth.
Thewrath: I didn’t say ALL adults,I said most. If as an adult, you are not making money and there is no clear pathway for you,why won’t you be in a hurry? even the igba boi is sometimes not guranteed at the end, anything could happen and you loose you 4 to 5 to 6years of igba boi….this is another reason why teenagers are preferred incase things go south, you will still have time.
The tendency of being in a hurry is higher in adults than in teenagers.
Well that is why "most" adults who are in hurry to make money, end up not getting or getting it only to lose it again through their recklessness or their children's. While most of the few adults who are not in hurry to make money end up wealthy or at least financially and economically established well enough to be able to pass on disciplined wealth creation and sustainance doctrine and legacies to their offspring who pass it on to the next generation, thus building empires and dynasties of Wealth on Earth. It's a matter of choice, you see. Not everyone will make it, for it comes with a price.
OredoPikin: God bless you but it would have been easier to settle him then than now.
THE LORD created no one to lack, for all things were sufficiently available in abundance before Man was created. But because every Man has a Purpose on Earth, it's THE MOST HIGH who determines who will be wealthy or not. It's HE who determines the path to wealth. No one is created to Lack, but not everyone is created to be Wealthy.
Thewrath: The age restriction is more of a psychological thing than a formal requirement. No matter your level of humility and readiness to learn,as an adult, many bosses find it difficult to control an adult, who already has a lot of priorities and needs. He is already in a hurry for money and success as an adult. At that age,he is already prioritizing money, women, ego, and pride and can easily mistake corrective disciplining as maltreatment because of his age.
Igbariam boi requires some level of training humility which can only or mostly be found in teenagers.
Fortunately not every adult is in a hurry to make money, or have women, neither is every adult egotistic or proud. There are adults who don't tick those boxes, those are they who go on to become successful too from the Igba boi experience. There are many of them. Look and you'll see.
When it comes to knowledge give it to who it is due, the white man has knowledge followed by the Asian.
And they use it well, black man is not interested in knowledge like that, he is interested in enjoyment.
If you say you did not gain knowledge from the white man, you are joking sir. Who built all the technology we are using today.
If you ridicule me because I'm telling you what you don't know which you are supposed to know elementarily then the joke's on you as I'm not responsible for your ignorance. You can give thanks to the White man for making you dumber than the average white man who is a dunce on a very good day. The White man came to you, took away your identity, erased the knowledge of your origin, and instead gave you his version of your origin and identity. And then manipulated you into being comfortable not asking questions or not thinking creatively, while distracting you with toys which he calls "technology"(among other things) which never end up making life easy for even them, not to talk of you. And then you, in your hypnotized/zombified state of reality you puppet in the illusion of basking in the " glory" of an "advanced" civilization brought to you by people who came only to steal, to kill and to destroy you and your kind in order to fully appropriate what is yours. Enjoy your reality. But know this, it is said in Africa that "no matter how much the chicken or the livestock is so favored and loved by the owner, it will not evade the knife to its throat on the day of slaughter." But if you really want to know, it might interest you to know that the White Man's "civilization" which you so much stand in awe of was birthed from Ancient civilizations in Africa like Egypt, Ethiopia, Sudan..etc. It might also interest you to know that although life started in Asia, but civilization started in Africa. Europe became civilized by Asians who carried their civilizations to them through trade, religion and war. Go and do your research on pre-civilized Europe and see for yourself how beastly those white cousins of ours are, that's if you'll be lucky to find non- propaganda literatures on the subject. For most of them have been banned or taken off visibility in order to hide the truth.
so advanced yet they sold their people for mirror, and the current generation can value money more than a human life.
Lets stop deceiving ourselves, when it comes to knowledge we have it, but its not advanced yet.
You know nothing about the slave trade. If you knew, you wouldn't equate "mirror" to the horror meted out on your ancestors who are turning in their graves as a result of your ignorance. Those people who you regard as the "advanced" ones, I don't know whether you have gone to their lands to actually see for yourself first hand how morally decadent, hygenically wanting, spiritually empty, nutritionally deficient and even intellectually dumb they are on the average? Well I hope you make money enough to travel around and see for yourself. But first know your roots, don't let a stranger tell you your history. Emancipate yourself from Imperialist propaganda that is packaged and tagged "education" , I'm sure that's where you got your " our ancestors sold themselves for mirror " story.
franchasng: It is late for him to do boi boi for any Igbo business man now because he has passed the age for that.
The igba boi apprenticeship system is like company trainee program, both of them come with an age range/restriction. Once you are above 19yrs, it will be difficult and in fact impossible for you to find any Igbo businessman ready/willing to take you as his nwa boi. The next option for him is "igba oso ahia/ofia" which have no age restriction but requires total humility, smartness, being friendly and jovial too.
And to the original topic, going to higher institution now requires wisdom. You don't just enrol because other of your mates are doing so or because you want to answer graduate. You must be very cautious in selecting course to study. Many courses being studied in Nigerian higher institutions today have become obsolete and needs to be removed from the curriculum and replaced with courses relevant to today's global needs.
For science students, they should consider the below courses:
1.) Nursing science 2.) Radiography 3.) Physiotherapy 4.) Laboratory science is not too bad 5.) Pharmacy is not too bad 6.) Civil Engineering 7.) Welding Technology as a course 8.) Carpentry as a course 9.) Mechatronics & Robotics Engineering 10.) Information Technology with specialization in Cyber Security
Arts students can go for:
1.) English language 2.) Accounting is not too bad 3.) Supply Chain Management & Logistics 4.) Digital Marketing and Artificial Intelligence
igba boi has no age restriction. The pre requisite to it is simply, humility and readiness to learn and concentration. This is what the Master is looking for, not your age. The reason why they tend to harbor more youngsters is because they are still pliable and less experienced in the ways of the world so it's easier for the master to control and mould them. But an adult who is humble, sharp minded and ready to learn is like gold. For the master soon delegates authority and responsibilities to that adult in no distant time. And this is a goldmine of resource that needs to be explored by our educated Igbo students and ex-students. Especially the vast unemployed among them. They can bring various levels of understanding acquired from their education, combine it with the igba boi experience, then create a refined and more sophisticated skill set or knowledge or system from there which complements and further enhances positively the role of the igba boi system among our people as well as expand and multiply its benefit
Sirchiboy: The years I wasted in school. If I used those years to learn skill or go for boi boi. My life would have changed forever.
it's not too late. You can still learn a skill or do the boi-boi. All you need is to decide, wear humility like a cloth, throw away shame, take action, then marry patience, tolerance and forbearance. Give yourself 7 years, serve wealth, and your end will be glorious. Your children won't grow up hungry, destitute and frustrated, and your woman/women won't have to endure hardship and harassment of all kinds in order to put food on your table.
I've been battling these boils for the past 2weeks,I've taken several drugs and even been to the hospital but it seems nothing is working rather it's getting worse..
It all started like a normal boil,bt right now it's has developed to wat I don't know.. I'm tired of everything especially the pains,I can't walk normal talk more of sleeping....I'm dying..
Please.....I don't know if anyone hv any remedy or solution to these boils, plz help a brother because I believe a problem shared is a problem half solved....
get original palm oil. Get salt that has teeth ( coarse salt). Get plantain leaf ( the young green one). Heat the plantain leaf over fire from charcoal or firewood or Stone, NOT gas or stove. Mix the palm oil with the salt , 60:40 ratio in favour of the salt. Rub it on all affected area, then take the heated plantain leaf and cover the areas till it gets cold. Then you re-heat and then you re-cover the area. Continue like that for 30 minutes. Then you discard the plantain leaf. Mix another potion of oil and salt ( this time 60:40 in favour of oil) and then apply it in the affected area. You will do this once a day, for 7 days, every evening between 4 pm and 6pm. After 7 days the pain should be reducing and the boils should be bursting pusses with reduced pain . If this happens, you stop using the plantain leaves and focus on the palm oil and salt. This time with 70:30 ratio in favor of palm oil. And you'll be doing it 2 times a day - morning and evening ( before sunrise, and after sunset). Let not the sun meet you before you do it in the morning, and let not the day go dark before you do it in the evening. And you must bathe before treatment.! In the first week you bathe once a day, before treatment. In the second week you bathe twice a day before treatment. By the third week you should be feeling alright. But never stop treating until, every pain is gone. For the pain is the mother of the boil. Once you stop feeling pain, the boil is gone. And keep your environment neat, don't let any issue from the boil touch anyone or any other part of your body, especially in the first week of treatment. Get cotton wool, enough. For you will wipe and clean out an awful lot of pus. And quarantine yourself during these periods. Stay away from sugar these periods until it's over, feast on citrus and acid -containing fruits if you have the means. And drink less water until 3 days to the end of the second week.
slavery and Islam go together, like rice and stew. To the moslem it is instilled in them that slavery is a religious sine qua non. Basically the Moslem is made to understand that he/she is a slave to Allah. Hence names like "Abd'llah" and co. Therefore, the Islamic logic is if they ( worshippers of Allah) are slaves to Allah then the infidel and unfaithful Muslim is by right a slave to them. Hence the eternal slave trade and the silence by slave and master alike, with maximum cooperation from the enslaved as it is Allah's wish for them to be slaves for even the infidel that is enslaved is also indoctrinated in the slave tenets of Islam by the master so he religiously resigns to his/her fate. Unlike the European slave trade which was obviously for business and economic purpose although in some cases it had to be linked to religion (Christianity) in order to boost success in acquisition, retention and control of the slave trade and the slave horde. This is why nothing is being said about the Trans Saharan slave trade which is still ongoing even now. Just like the Trans Atlantic slave trade is still ongoing, even now
In 2026, you still believe education is a "white man's" thing? How did your ancestors learn all of the things they used to keep their own society running? I would have given a lot of readers who are willing to learn some lessons on how the world worked and will continue to work, but I have lost motivation to type.
your ancestors were living in a society where no one was homeless, no one was poor, family was healthy and functional. Your ancestors possessed accurate knowledge of the secrets and codes of nature (science) and implemented those knowledge ( technology). Your ancestors operated a highly civilized society; economically, politically, spiritually and morally sound... amid other achievements. All these before the White man came, and things fell apart... Now you tell me the truth! With your 'education' what have you achieved so far as a man? Have you built a house of your own? Have you even fed yourself enough to be able to fed a woman and raise a family? Have you been established economically enough to be able to function and contribute to your community? Are you even knowledgeable enough about your community and people to be able to take on responsibilities among your people? Can you protect yourself if need be? Can you protect your family or your people? What do you know about your roots, about your people about your identity? What do you know about your people's knowledge of the secrets and codes of life, nature, and other spheres of existence? What did the White man's knowledge bring to you that you don't already have? What has the White man's knowledge taken from you, and what has it given you? Compare and contrast then see who is losing and who is gaining. That's if you will accept to tell yourself the Truth.
Glimpsetv: A Nigerian man has gone viral after posting a video of himself angrily tearing up his university degree certificate, NYSC discharge certificate, and WAEC result. In the clip, he sits in a black tank top, looking visibly frustrated as he holds up the documents one by one and rips them apart. He makes it clear he regrets going to university, saying it did not help him despite graduating with a second-class upper degree in Psychology.
Tearing the certificates one by one, he said, “I want to become an illiterate,” suggesting that since his certificates had not helped him achieve the success he expected, he would rather tear them and be known as an illiterate.
The video, shared widely on X, captures a raw moment of disappointment that many young Nigerians can relate to. After years of study, national service, and the usual paper chase, he feels the certificates have brought him little practical value in the job market. His actions and words have sparked a flood of reactions online. Some people express sympathy, pointing to the tough economic reality and limited opportunities facing graduates. Others respond with dark humour, joking about their own degrees or noting that some of the papers he tore looked like photocopies. A few simply watch in disbelief at the dramatic display of frustration.
It taps into a broader conversation about the gap between education and employment in Nigeria, where many young people finish school only to struggle with underemployment or unemployment. Whether the man’s decision to destroy the documents was purely emotional or a calculated statement, the video has struck a nerve. It leaves viewers with a simple,
uncomfortable question: what is the real worth of those hard-earned certificates if they do not translate into a better life?
The White man's understanding of knowledge is not for everyone. It is only for those who will communicate with the White man. Everyone will not communicate with the White man, everyone must not! Sadly, everyone is even desperate to become the White man. Thus, the confusion and the frustration....left, right and center.
