Name one senate President that has gone to prison before,or speaker of the house of representative or president or vice president?Nigeria operate in a way that is not strange,there is a clear fact that no leader in the federal structure can be taken to prison so why do Nigerians think this rule has changed?

Same was done to GEJ after all they appointed these people.
The staff get's praised for good performance cos he could've done otherwise like many of the other are doing.
The leader gets the knocks for an appointed official's poor showing for not having noticed that chink in the person before he outsiders

I can assure you that the problem of Nigerian leaders has little to do with Age, but more to do with Character.

I agree with you that Character plays a major role in leadership,as a Christian,i have learned a lot in terms of Biblical teaching and documented history to know once a generation embraces a destructive philosophy,they can never make up for it.Buhari is of the old era,maybe the last of the Generals to hold a democratic leadership position,he might stay upright,say the right things,keep corruption low key,but he will not build anything different from his predecesors.I am not wishing him to fail,God forbid.I am just saying that i personally cannot see anyone from that generation with the ability to achieve geniune greatness except false greatness giving by those who believe that they must defend their votes(not you)regardles of facts that the leader is as good and bad as those before him.

Do not forget that the office of the PRESIDENCY is protected by all former heads of state.Council of state meetings is where all decisions concerning anything that affect that seat of power and do not forget that even the President elect Buhari also is a member of that council.So Jonathan is obligated by other fomer heads of state to take certain decisions to protect that seat.
