I just heard that the issue of 25% of FCT was one of the issues put before the court and it was held that FCT should be treated as any other states and a candidate is not require to get 25% in FCT.

The last presidential elections of 2019, if you can recall, President mohammdu Buhari did not win the FCT, rather, Atiku won the FCT, and Buhari was declared winner.

Actually once a president is elected and swear into office by the constitution of the fed republic of Nigeria, all powers vested on him as the president takes effect, he can appoint the minister of the FCT base on the powers vested on him. Anyone he chooses.
