Iheanacho is 'made in Aba' and never even went to university but today as a Nigerian export playing in PL earns over 85mil naira on weekly basis. Davido, Osas, BankyW are all American citizens who left America to Nigeria bcuz they saw a better opportunity here.

An uncle who was one of d people that created awareness for sickle cell anaemia in those days but drove only that olden days 404 to show for it somehow found himself in America and today he has a lot to show for it.
What's is my point? Like someone rightly said, it's destiny which can maybe be delayed but can never be denied.

The bottom line is what will be will be. If you can afford a MJ, by all means pursue it and if u can't don't loose hope cuz maybe someday, that child might even be offered those citizenship In a platter of Gold.

Make no mistake tho, the children with dual citizenship like has been previously stated here have head start tho but it also doesn't mean that they will be more successful than others who doesn't have. It still points towards what their destinies are if you believe in destinies. But me, I am advocate of MJ if you can afford it cuz thier is this pride that comes with saying, 'my son/daughter is a/an British/American citizen because truth be told...no be beans! Yes it will take 15/20years to reap the reward. But hey, it's forever! I pray God heal Nigeria so that we all can also be proud to say 'I am Nigeria citizen' and 'I have rights'.

It's already part 5? Wow!
I greet you all. Any Mama that gave birth, congratulations! Those with successful POE stories, I hail. My story is long both before and after I had my LO but lemme summarize:
My son, the Drs could not find out what was wrong with him. We ended up as part of research where they started giving him meds for TB wen when they could prove that he didn't have TB... you can imagine prenant me sliping into desperation and depression, till God decided to heal him. His mass started reducing and right now, it's a small lump. He's thriving

I had my LO at 40 weeks plus 3 days. I was already 4 cm dilated before labour started. In fact Dr wanted to induce me since the baby was really big on scan. Well he came out 9 pounds and unresponsive... but God still had my back. As I type, he's with my mum because my boobs are screaming for Mercy. He is thriving!
I had refused hearing test and circumcision o. I did the hearing test myself (flushed toilet in hospital startled him sef) circumcision was done back home.

A few days or so after giving birth, I had something that looked like rashes. Saw a Dr in Houston and he didn't know what it was, second Dr used the words weird and strange to describe it... within 2 weeks my body was covered with itchy stuff that looked like a horror movie. I alternated between crying (I had a touch of PPD), scratching my entire body and praying. No-one knew what it was. Some told me it was something I stepped in or ate... when medicine was failing me, I went on my knees to the greatest Dr ever liveth. I threw myself at his mercy one more time and as he did my sons, he did for me. My skin is almost clear. I am thriving

All I can say is I'm grateful God has my back. I'm glad I had this group to guide me. I will return to give a blow by blow account of my experiences. I even found a $900 for vag del Dr. The hospital he uses this is not as nice as he is cash wise. I will give a full account soon. My mum is telling for me to come feed my always hungry baby. Thank you all for your encouragement and prayers

U deserved to be told NNOOO!(Welcome).thanking God for ur life and that of ur LO.

Who is "everyone" here please? You still don't get it! Even with Sugah's clarification ("with" and "like"wink? I was not for one minute in doubt as to the meaning and import of what Worry359 said at all. You are the one interpreting it out of context. You wan teach us "in-glitch"? How much do you know about movements of ILLEGALS between the US and Canada? Sorry to the applicant affected, really wish there were better ways to establish deeper ties to Naija sha, BUSINESS as in your case will hardly cut this type.

Really? Our understanding differs and what I infered from the poster could be different from urs and every other persons. Why would someone I don't know from Adam come in here and calling me trouble maker bcuz I stated my opinion from a post I felt concerned about and I have every right to call him out. Thier is no throwing stones issues there. Again it's possible what I deduced from worry's post is different from what he mearnt to say...again as Sugah stated it's English language. That was why I directed my post to him asking whether the lady pmed him about that. Anyone had the right to agree or disagree and I am stated my opinion which I am entitled without calling names but stating your opinion while calling name is not constructive criticism... it's throwing stones like u said and that not my intention here.

Really? You guys have a lot of energy.
Please folks need to learn to read statements and interpret it in context before firing shots.
I read worry's comment and what I simply understood was that the vo assumed theposter plannedto emigrate to CA via USA illegally. He did not refer to the husband or his status. So iwanawana I actually disagree with you on that point.
The fact that folks were not quick to disagree with u could be cos they are at work and not checking nl at that point. Again, you shouldn't take critiscm badly. Afterall you quoted somebody and criticised his opinion.

@Iwanawana, You seem to be a trouble maker oh, lol.. I've been waiting to see if someone else could comment to clarify what Worry359 actually means when he said cross from USA to Canada to BECOME Illegal with your husband, I think the word BECOME is a future tense, he didn't say her husband is currently illegal in Canada, please try to read to understand before commenting.. thank you #PEACE

Plz don't jump into my mention talking crap! It's not everyone who speaks and understands English can write as well. The initial poster made me and everyone who 'understands' English properly believe that the husband of the lady in question is ALREaDy ILLEGAL and the wife is planning to join him there in Canada as an illegal too. Stop confusing urself!

When I read the comment the first time, I came to your conclusion too. But I guess its just an English language problem.
To become illegal with.....
To become illegal like ......

Infact nne the thing tire me biko. I felt pity for the poor woman only for him to come and pull 'what I think the vo is thinking' on her when you are not a vo and can't possibly know what they are thinking. The vo probably had other reason I believe for the refusal. And by d way is it even possible for someone to be studying in a country like Canada illegally? Even in Nigeria, a foreigner can't study here illegally, you must show a proof that u re atleast not here illegally before any school would enrol u bar d corrupt ones.

VO looks at the idea that you will abandon your business to cross from USA to Canada to become illegal with your husband.
You must present very strong proof that you will return home.

If I may ask...How did u know that her husband is illegal in Canada? I have read her transcript over and over to see where she mentioned her husband being illegal and I can't find it. Unless she pmed u to divulge that but if not I don't think ur assumptions(bcuz that's what it was) are proper. Let's be guided in our words!

What does this mean bankers? Can I walk into any bank and get d dollar for this amount? Abeg how does this translate to me?

Also heard from one banker that cbn has stopped form A for medical. Is this true?

Most likely. Atleast that's what I heard. I am not a banker but bankers told me it's very possible now. I don't know about form A medical. I asked from access and they told me they haven't gotten any memo yet on the ban on form A. For all I care it could be a rumour. Only issue might likely be that the form A would be processed based on the current Forex for whatever day one is processing it.

Maybe goodnews to start the week with. A dollar to naira starting off at N255 on interbank FX marketing.

Yayyyy! Some good news finally.. does this morning mean to PTA is accessible now though?

I think so. That's what my account officer told me. Northerners would soon be put out of market. You can now access ur Forex from ur banks. This also mean foreign investors would return including the airlines that pulled the plug as the Forex demand normalizes.

@Blaize777, God would perfect all that concerns u in no distant time but you only need to believe and trust HIM. He's no asleep and he works at his own pace but I believe it shall be great testimony at the end. Worry not about the bills for now and focus on being strong and vibrant in anticipation for the time LO leaves the NICU. Highest highest if need be on d long run, reach out and I believe a lot of people here would be willing to help irrespective of the hard times. Some people are never tired of giving for in giving we receive. Nne be happy and declare that it's well with u and urs. We would be praying for you and urs.

I've just received the worst news of my life. A friend died in childbirth... Havana hospital!

I'm still in shock. This is 2016... baby and mum died.

Not our portion in Jesus name. I just needed to rant. I can only say if only...

This Nigeria sef

It's really sad. Accept my sympathy Nef. May God protect us all. Sometimes I just wonder why? Why? Like how much longer are we going to continue like this? The worst part is that these hospitals are just after money and can't even provide the basic facility for a successful delivery for mother and child and some people are wondering why we travel all the way to America and pay so much just for childbirth. Life has no duplicate and one must exhaust the very best available option, and if per adventure life is lost. One would atleast take solace to the fact that he/she atleast tried. May God continue to protect us all Amen. May thier souls rest in peace. #sighs

So Spanish airline Iberia have suspended all thier flights from Nigeria to wherever. Heard other foreign airlines are about to follow suit as well.
Reasons cited: The FG have refused to exclude these airlines from its ban on movement of Forex. Some of these airlines find it almost impossible to transfer their proceeds trapped in Nigerian banks to thier various countries thereby thier gradual withdrawal.

Which way Nigeriaooo which way? So what now?
