Investment / Re: Why Do People Go Broke After Winning Huge Amount Of Money by IWillRiseAgain(f): 8:08pm On May 09, 2022
Money you didn't "sweat" for always comes with this false hope that you can always get it again and again using the same tricks that got you the first one.

The moment you buy into that lie, you will become reckless and start living extravagantly. Your new name will not only be "Father Christmas" but also "Oga Free Spender". grin

It will take only sapa to restore your sanity. This is why it's always good to work for your money.

Speaking of working for your money, have you heard that there are some international jobs you can do right from here in Nigeria?

With the number of persons declaring for the Presidency, it seems the primaries will be more interesting than the main election itself.
Who else feels this way?

Celebrities / Re: Genevieve Nnaji Celebrates 43rd Birthday Today by IWillRiseAgain(f): 9:03am On May 03, 2022
What can we say about Genevieve Nnaji?

First she's super intelligent, a great actor, dresses modestly and knows how to comport herself very well.

She is not an attention seeker nor a lover of power. You'll never find her among the corrupt Nigerian political class in order to "belong", nor would you see her criticizing and talking down on other actors so she and her movies will be seen as the best.

Genny is so beautiful you'd wonder if she's aging backwards. Thanks to her efforts, she has maintained that beauty for many years now. She's everything a real African woman should be, a queen and more!

Happy birthday to a living legend and the real queen of Nollywood. Long may you live and may your enemies keep falling before you.

Age got nothing on you dear. If a course should exist on How To Mind Your Business, you should be it's first professor. No caps!

So they should still use his old form to determine his present worth? All those form from liverpool and early man city days are gone. He is partially living on past glory. He still has contribution but not anything close to his pay.

His contribution is not topnotch again.
Gabriel is Somehow declining maybe because Pep is not really using him very well. He only feature once in a while

Like you said, he is supposed to be the main striker now, but maybe Pep does not want any singular point man.

Yeah, I believe he can still deliver far more than he's given the opportunity to do

Which Sterling?
He does not deserve at all.
He is even getting more than mahrez, Bernardo Silva and others.

Being an English player is what is helping him including excessive playtime he has compared to contribution.

Foden should be given more opportunity to improve.

Sterling doesn't deserve the pay? Looks like it's not long you started watching his games.

What do you have to say about Gabriel Jesus?

You listed only Igbo actors, omitting Yorubas where the light of entertainment first shine.

Useless list sectional list.

This is not an Igbo vs Yoruba stuff. I can't possibly remember every name. That's why I asked that you mention anyone that comes to mind.

Well Said. Nigeria will Rise Again.
Modified.
Atiku/Saraki would be a better vote getter for PDP than a Southwest vice in my opinion.
Although Southerners would fight for their own.
Saraki is good choice, but not good enough to match Tinubu's influence in the South. At least the his performance in the last PDP presidential primary and main election is a proof of that.

Atiku needs someone like the current Edo governor, whose impact in the last election is still fresh in people's hearts. He can easily draw emotions with the war against godfatherism playcard.

He can also choose Governor Woke of Rivers State to deal them the biggest blow. That's actually his best option. Not Saraki or Peter Obi. Though in terms of economic and infrastructural development Peter Obi seems a better option to those other guys, but in terms of the Nigerian political game of numbers, he'd have upper hands with Wike

Sentiments aside, which Nollywood actor or actress would you say qualifies to be called the Greatest Of All Times (GOAT)

Growing up, these guys made our childhood memorable. From Pete Edochie to Clems Ohameze, Hank Anuku, Emeka Ike, RMD, Stella Damasus, Genevieve Nnaji, Patience Ozokwor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Emeka Enyiocha, Osuofia, Mr. Ibu, Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki), Osita Iheme (Pawpaw), Omotola (Omosexy), Ini Edo, Tony Umez, Saint Obi, Gentle Jack, Jim Iyke, Ramsey Noah, Sam Loco Efe, Victor Osuagwu, Papa Ajasco, Jide Kosoko, Justice Esiri and many more.

Pick your GOAT in terms of the ability to interpret multiple roles, number of movies and consistency over the years.

Let's appreciate the efforts of our movie stars with a vote.

. You really know the permutations. PDP can only win presidential election if they field a northerner. I'm an Igbo living in the north and I will bet you that if a crippled come out from that zone they will still support the one. A new trend here is to allow them complete there 4years of yaradua. Moreover, only bond that holds APC is buhari. Since he is about to finish, the bond gonna break
I grew up in the North too before moving to South so I know first hand how their politics work.

Your permutations are wrong, no one in the South South would vote for Tinubu; because Lagos no be South South, and yes you are leaving North central out of the calculation, where their population is more than that of the South East; a region on a good day have never pitched tent with the South West, and you thought it would all change now, and you know many still carry the grievance of the 1967-1970 civil war, and the role Awo played. So with this Tinubu stands no chance against any Northern candidate, that's just the truth, but most times we ignore this fact on ground and think things can change all of a sudden

No one in the South South would vote for Tinubu. I agree. But not when he is up against a Northerner. You talk like you know very little about Nigerian politics. The north central will not go 100% with the north. It will be split between the north and the south. Read my first comment well with an unbiased mind.

So far, no serious candidate has emerged from the South South and South East. So it's going to be Tinubu vs Atiku in 2023, and from all indications, these two regions I just mentioned will decide the winner and that is Tinubu

2023 is going to be a very interesting year. The Southwest will definitely stand behind Tinubu regardless of the tensions in the party right now.

The big blow will then come if Atiku ends up selecting another Southwestern Yoruba as running mate.

Y'all know there's no way the North will leave her own to vote for a Westerner. They will queue behind Atiku. That's why PDP is banking on Atiku to return back to power.

Now, the real winner of the 2023 presidential election will be decided by the South East and South South who though few in numbers will rally behind Tinubu, not because they love him, but because they will do anything for power not to return to the North.

So at the end of it all, Tinubu will emerge the president of this nation come 2023. Regardless of where he picks his running mate from.

I don't like the man, but that is what it is.

Mark this comment and remember I said so when it happens. The winner of 2023 presidential election will be decided by the South East and South South. Between the West and the North, it will be a draw game.
