Pls does anyone knw if CDHC accept swift message print-out from bank as evidence of payment of tuition fees? My sch may not b able to send an official receipt before d deadline given me by CDHC. Thanks

But my dad is ready to pay now for d one semester Shuld i pay? or its just better i tell the skool that i am waiting for CDHC to direct me to pay because i see some nairalanders saying they pay for one semester b4 applying and was directed to pay d rest b4 getting trv. any advantage with dis?....

Im asking all this questions because there is nobody to advice me on trv xcept this forum. So pls bear with me. I really wanna get it right. Thanks. All advice is welcome

Check d sch refund policy, if they will refund d full tuition fees in case TRV is denied, I will advice u pay for one semester to secure ur spot in d sch. But this dose not in any way influence VO's decision! In my case, I paid for 1 semester before I applied for TRV because my sch requested for it and wen I was called for medicals CDHC asked me to pay for anoda semester making a year tuition fees.

I just collected my package from VAC. D conditions attached with my medical instruction is to provide sponsor's payslips & salary a/c statement and also to provide receipt for balance payment of a year tuition fee( I paid for one semester before). Wil do my medical tomorrow

adexcube: i just mailed my flight school now and the admission officer replied me that CDHC is yet to contact them since i submitted in Sept 2012. Now is it that they don't verify acceptance letters and if they do, are you thinking what am thinking right now? What on earth are they doing with my application that they are yet to contact the school to confirm my acceptance letter at the sixth month These CDHC guys are just searching for unnecessary trouble, mind you i mailed them last week Friday and they refused to reply, guess they are tired reading my mail and replying with there copy and paste message. God in control.

It was on dis thread dat I discovered wat visa officers are interested in & wat they want to see! And I packaged my app accordingly! I appreciate u guys!

Who is your sponsor?

My elder bro is my sponsor (same surname). Docs submitted includ:
1) all Cic app forms.
2)original & copies of all my credentials including transcript from university, church membership cert & baptismal cert. Etc
3) copies of my siblings birth & marriage cert.
4) copies of my fiancée payslips, work ID card, court affidavit stating we hav agreed to get married upon my return from canny and pictures of us together showing her engagement ring.
5) family pictures
6)court affidavit from my mum with papers of her landed properties attached
6) letter of intention

DOCS FROM MY SPONSOR
7) letter of sponsorship, affidavit of sponsorship, introduction letter from his employer, copy of his work ID, copies of visas in his intl passport.
six months bank statement - ( naira a/c - with enormous activities In d a/c but a balance of 5M) and a domicilary a/c with a bal of abt $85,000.

These ar d ones I can remember now. In all, it was a bucky application. I included everything I tot was relevant and dat I can defend. Hope this help!

genep: I have spoken with fanshawe college about it they confirm I will get admission in one week, but my problem is I am so tired of doing post graduate diploma already I wish I could get masters admission not PGD again.

Genep, pls how long is ur PGD program in Canada? Is it possible to have a PGD program dat runs for one year? Thanks

I think u shld inform d sch of ur decision to change course. Let them kn hw far u hav gone in respect of that. If d sch is ready to offer u fresh admission u don't hav any prob.

mercylicious: When you were filling your application,did u fill 2 years visa? If u did, get the acceptance leta 4rm school and go to embassy Lagos, explain to them, retrieve it and submit d new one, its easy.
On the other hand, if what you filled on the form is one year, u might have to reapply.

@ mercylicious,thanks for ur prompt response. I filled 1yr on d form. is it not possible for me to retrieve both d letter and d form and submit fresh ones since my application has not been processed? Thanks a lot

Pls all d gurus in d House, I need ur advise. I submitted application for study permit in Dec 2012, I just discovered that my School made a mistake in d course duration stated on my final letter of acceptance. Instead of 2yrs, they stated 1yr on d letter. I hav written to d school, they acknowledged d mistake and promised to send a corrected copy to me. My question is dis: do I notify CDHC of the Error in my letter or leave my application as it were? If I notify them, will they allow me to substitute d corrected copy for d old one without asking me to submit a fresh application? Pls pls I need ur urgent reply. Thanks @ all

Congrats @ Idomaboi, what wil u do when ur passport expires? Can CDHC issue study permit beyond d validity of ones passport? Pls I want to kn becos d duration of my proposed course of study in canny exceed d validity of d passport I submitted at CDHC. Will it affect my chance? Pls @ all.
