To GOD b the Glory! I got my TRV today!! My status changed yesterday but didn't get any email from CDHC. Behold, wen I got to VFS this morning my visa was waiting for me!! I give all d glory 2 God. Thanks to u guys.

Remember if u withdraw ur passport, they wl remove ur application from d Queue. Ur app wil start counting frm d day u resubmit ur passort!

I don't think dey go to dt extend except it has direct bearing on ur application!! But make sure all docx u ar submitting can b defended! Their heads dey skip somtimes! Frm my own pt of view, what dey ar mostly interested in ar1) u ar a genuine student,( 2) evidence of plenty money avaliable for u to spend in their country! (3) your home tie. my thot dou! Gurus in d house can throw mor lit.

kenniy: the summary is i just got my visa

the very long story is: this morning was chating with kayce when i saw this on vfs: "Your application has been assessed by the Canadian High Commission/Consulate General of Canada and is being returned to the centre where you applied".. i know that means they sending back my documents to vfs..i also know most likely its not yet at vfs, as the status will be ".... ready for collection..." when it gets there..
ordinarily,as is done before, i woulda assumed that is my visa. but cos like most people that got visa since january, they would get an email saying "Your application to study or work in Canada has been approved." ..and as at then, i haven't gotten that mail. i freaked out (ask kayce ).. cos i also know CDHC could still reject someone after medicals. i original tot i'll wait till 'morrow cos i wasnt with the slip (i stopped carrying it in my bag just last week after i was told by a nigerian cdhc official that they not gonna issue visa for me yet with more than 6 months to resume school)..i eventually got someone to bring the slip for me when i was sure i wouldnt sleep right knowin there is a schrodinger's cat right in my domain..
when i got there, my documents where still in transit, so had to wait for like 2 hr..eventually i got the package, and shakingly, i opened it and went straight to my passport..then i smiled..

sorry i bored u all, just so ecstatic at the moment..lol..yh..i also got that email too few mins ago..

She said they ar waiting for my tuition fees receipt which I hav not submitted, I told her I wil submit it ASAP. She then ask of my start date, I told her May, she said ''ok there is still time''. I believe they wil soon start issuing TRVs. IN GOD WE TRUST

U don't understand d letter, the denial letter has all d reasons a visa could b denied written on it , all d VOs do is to tick d ones applicable to an individual. Wat u consider are d ones marked wit a pen, most especially the one written in ink. May we not see that letter again IJN

Its a personalized form with ur IME number, so u can't download it elsewhere. Its normally attached to d medical instructions mail from CDHC. If u don't hav it I would suggest u mail or visit d Embassy tomorrow.

Congrats my broda, ther ar two places u can do ur medicals in Lagos. Asaju Medical clinic is at 2, Oloosa str. D road is opp Eko hotel in VI. The other one is at Ikoyi, am not sure of d address. Go with ur int'l passport, medical form print out, 4 passport photos & 28k. Best of luck ma broda

Part A of Q2 is asking u to state wat u stand to gain from ur proposed course. Tell them d impacts ur proposed course wil hav on ur career/future. 3 or 4 points are ok. Q5 is somhow related to Q2 but here u hav to proof to d VO that its better for u to study ur proposed course outside Niaja. Points like d level of acceptability, level of educational standard, d cultural impacts (Canada is known 4 its rich and diverse culture)etc . Just say good things abt education in Canada but don't bastardize niaja education oh! if u do it shows u don't lik niaja dat much & may not return to naija. In all b concise!
