If u carry $10,000 & above and u nor declare & u are caught, na big wahala b dat ooh! My advise b say if u must carry big cash wit u, let it b around $9,500(u can always transfer d remaining cash from niaja wen u get to canny). Keep like $500 in ur pocket & keep d remaining $9000 in a safe place in ur carry- on( your carry-on bag should always b with u).

If u must carry $10,000 & above, declare it! You will b given a slip on d flight to canny on which u ought to declare cash in excess of $10,000.

laureek: It is a ghen ghen o.just got my trv.got to their office around 12 and filled the enquiry form.waited and waited but they eventually called my name around 4:10p.m to come in and it was handed over to me.so grateful to God.He is awesome.

Meanwhile my visa is still being processed on the site o.The tension is real guys.A guy was called and told he should go home cos they are still working on the 22nd of may (the day I submitted).I'd advice those that did their medicals btwn 22nd-27th of July to go there if you haven't received yours.A woman submitted her application online and daughter's on the 15th of july online and was called 3days after for medicals and she collected her visa today.
That's not even up to 2months.those I met there today and got theirs have been on their neck.

clow: Please I need advise on an issue,like I said b4 my dad is late,but my uncle in US who is a citizen,is my sponsor,cos my dad is late.he actually has sent his docs,nd I wud b applying on thurday but on the issue of a home tie I intend using my mum and siblings and including my dads 2 landed properties,but the Issue now is that I do not knw where his C of O is,but I do have the receipt of 1 of his lands and the land survey of both land in my dads name,do u guyz think I should include it in my application as a home tie or shudnt boda since I don't have his C of O.

Though u can include d docs u ar able to lay ur hands on (land approval, receipt, etc). Sometimes I wonder how a landed property dat is not in ones name can serve as home tie!! Will u come back to niaja becos of d land? D VOs knw dat majority of ppl don't leave canny after study (except d Saudis ) but they want it to b on record that u said or u proved that u will com back. I think (IMO ) a good SOP will do d trick - why do u want to go to Canada to study? Wat will u gain there? Why will u com back? In ur SOP, make it clear that u wil leave canny after study & let it also b stated in ur sponsors letter. If u hav a wife or kid(s) gud too.
Wit God on ur side, a good SOP & SOA ur TRV is sure

They already have an MOU with their host government. For British Airways and Airlines such as American Airlines, Delta, US airways you need a transit visa to pass through their hub as they want to pre authorise whoever is going through their country and do adequate security checks well in advance.

With respect to one way tickets, I have had to buy a return ticket from a foreign country though I was not planning to go back coz it was cheaper than a one way ticket to Nigeria. You can never tell with tickets as they change by the minute via complex intrigues employed by the airline operators dats why you may buy your ticket twice the price or half of the price of the passenger seated next to you. Competition plays an important role in the price mechanism. Funny enough, I was once given quote of over £600 to change the return leg of my BA ticket at Heathrow and the same lady at the counter gave me an option of buying a return ticket (lhr-abv-lhr) for about £500!
I called their online customer line and was able to change it for about £200 as it wasmidsummer with flighta fully booked

I think it's better to hav a return ticket as it might com handy, moreover, it's cheaper to get two-way ticket most of d time

BROS, if u can not renew ur passport, submit like that. With 11 months on ur passport, CDHC will issue u 11 months multiple entry visa, wen u get 2 canny u can renew ur passport b4 it expires & then apply to extend ur stay.

Its just an instruction to quote ur application number in ur correspondence with them (which is important for them to quickly locate ur file) and where to send ur correspondence to. Best of luck.

I think unlike the US Study Visa, you can apply for the Canadian study Permit from within Canada. What are you doing in the US? If you are studying, then you are fine.

U CAN APPLY 4 CANADIAN STUDY PERMIT WITHIN CANADA IF UR STUDY PERMIT EXPIRES when u ar already in Canada. U can't apply to study if u have a visit visa. U hav to go back to naija to apply.

U don't have any problem. Show ur visa to immigration wen u enter canny, they will enter d control number on their computer & everything abt u will pop up. Ur study permit wil b issued @ d airport there. Nobody wil question u, just b sure ur visa is genuine.

U got a TRV, not a study permit! Study permit is only issued at point of entry. CBSA (immigration) wil issue that wen u present dt letter at d airport wen u enter canny.
