Honestly, aside Peter Obi, voting most of the LP candidates will be disatrous on the long run because it is obvious majority are benefiting from the obidients bandwagon!
I hope people don't vote incompetence with this LP from top to bottom mentality. |

You wont perform and you will be looking for sympathy votes...
This is very funny sha...
Me, i am voting LP from top to bottom..
I cant vote thieves because i have not benefited anything from their govt..
I am voting LP in delta state..not even an Urhobo man for all i care
If they dont work to make my life better, i have no reason to vote for them..
So, dont use tribe to deceive people...Obedient family only wants the best for our country..
If in 4 years LP fails or doesn't seem to be different, then we vote them out..
Lagos will be far better if the electorate can choose who they want based on performance...not based on tribe...same with my state, delta state. Shey these politicians under LP na imported dem be and not Nigerians? The earlier you realise that most of them on jumped on the popular train of Peter Obi's popularity, the better for all of us. In 4yrs time you'll vote them out if they don't perform? Really? You think the 'obidient steam' will still have this much momentum then? I have no problem with voting LP if only they are not just sympathy votes. |

What was Sanwo-Olu pedigree before becoming governor?
Una go dey yarn dust because of party affiliation. First of all, I have no party affiliations and not bothered with who wins in Lagos. I am not from there and don't reside there. That said, leadership is not gotten in one day. I asked what his pedigree is to aspire to govern an economy like Lagos state aside being lucky to be on the ballot for a movement that is the in thing now. I saw his 2019 poster where he contested for Senate under PDP, what additional skills has he gotten between then and now to want to contest for governorship (Executive) and no longer legislative arm of goverment? |
Politics › Re: 2023 Elections: Babajide Sanwo-Olu Appeals To Lagosians. See Reactions by iyatrustee(f): 3:25pm On Mar 05, 2023 |
Sentiments aside, what is the pedigree of the LP guy? Governing a state like Lagos should not be based on emotions. If it were Jimi Agbaje on the ballot for Labour, then it is understandable. |

DashingRush: This man led the legal team that defeated Ngige and returned Peter Obi's mandate. He also led the team that returned Amaechi's mandate. He also led the team that won the case at Appeal Court for Alex Otti, the current LP Guber candidate for Abia. He lost at the Supreme Court because a filing error (regularization).
The only way APC will stand a chance against this man is if they hire Wole Olanipekun SAN. Wole Olanipekun is on a retainership with Tinubu. I trust he will be actively involved. |

Finally they honoured this policy of Reciprocity. Nigeria was been shortchanged for a long time with the 2yr validity while some other countries enjoyed a minimum of 5yrs and some even 10yrs.
Before anybody says it is linked to the outcome of the election, it has absolutely nothing to do with it. |

The other contestants too have die-hard followers. If it were another party, would you agree it may have no connection to the flagbearers? |

Met a ward chairman of PDP yesterday when I met my friend , he said they are batified but behind the camera they are obidients. He said all his executives are for obi, they all want the money.
Let's see if common sense wouldn't prevail over incompetence and corruption Using this your analogy. So you think they will collect money before election and vote for somebody that won't 'give them money' after the elections? So all the politicians have a change of heart all because of Obi? Cantonese: CBN withdrew 2.7 trillion and released 400b. That's a wide gap. The politicians do not have all. The money is shared between the thieving politicians and the citizens. Now because the politicians do not have enough, they clamour for the old notes to remain . How can they get enough new notes to go round? Party agents now cry that they have never had such experience. With no cash, who will they bribe?
The aim is not defeated. The crooked politicians and their supporters are defeated already. There is an extension to collect the old 500 and 1k notes till 10th of April. See attached screenshot Fidelity sent yesterday. Technically the aim is defeated because, politicians can share old notes to people who can go deposit in their bank account!

No indigenous person(s) should be an INEC umpire in this country, the nepotism is something else. From 1993 up until 2010, Nigerians of southern extraction were Inec chiefs. Someone took the items to their Abuja office, they weighed and gave us the price which we paid. See attached a screenshot of their office addresses and choose the one that applies. Quick one, ensure all items are packed in ziploc bags. Mine wasn't and I had to pay them to pack in transparent bags. @Khams, they only shipped my items after I got someone to buy on my behalf

koonbey: 1. I know Exeter well. It's good and beautiful and safe and I love it and highly recommend it. Just bear in mind it's not a commercial center so lateral job movement might not be so easy, depending on your industry. From city center to countryside trails by the river is like 8 minutes by bike so it's a lot of fun if you're the outdoor type. Exeter is also significantly more expensive than average when it comes to accommodation.
2. Bristol and Cardiff are commercial centres but also more expensive than average.
3. Birmingham is much less expensive being in the North but from what I hear the quality of life is not quite as good.
P.S. Take (2) and (3) with a grain of salt. I've only being to those places for short periods. Exeter is the only one I can speak authoritatively about. If you do choose Exeter or need more info, feel free to DM. Birmingham is in the West Midlands. |

ezegold4we: Good morning to everyone, pls I need More clarifications on my sister and her family skilled worker Visa application,
She already got Her COS and intends to travel with her hubby and the kid's same day becos maintainance was ticked by her sponsor, she's about applying for their Visa's,
The major question is regarding her children's birth certificate, she has all of her children's birth certificate from The hospital with accurate date of birth and the accurate date when the certificate was issued that same month becos she always collect her children's birth certificate latest two week's after delivery,
When she wanted to do her children's passport around November 2022, The Nigerian immigration services Said that NIN is now compulsory and the children's birth certificate is needed from NPC and not from the hospital they were delivered, they have to go and get The kid's birth certificate from NPC but the Major challenge is this, the NPC office wrote their dates and year of birth correctly but wrote date of issuance same Day they went there instead of the date of issuance in their original birth certificate from the hospital they were Born,
Right now,we heared that UK embassy only accepts birth certificate from NPC, that's national population commission, my question now is this,
1. I Hope the date of issuance Which bore year 2022 from NPC will not complicate things for Her and her family becos they have approached NPC office and they Said they can't back-date the date of issuance to the Year The kid's were Born, some of the kid's were Born in 2010, 2012, etc,
2. Pls can she attach her children's birth certificate from The hospital they were born with the One from NPC since the date of issuance from NPC is only showing year 2022 for all her kids but remember, everything about their date and Year of birth is correct both from the hospital and NPC, the only issue is date of issuance,
Finally pls those that has travelled with their kid's can Also shade More light on This,
I'm greatful for This platform, waiting patiently for responses. Some years back, I had the same NPC experience. What I did was attach copies of both certificates and labelled them A &B with a note explaining I had used the hospital issued certificate since the child's birth until I realised the NPC had more validity. Therefore the issue date on the NPC only reflected when his birth was officially registered. Hope this helps. |
