We got refusal letter today. I’m still trying to figure out why?
The kids and I were refused because my husband who is our sponsor was.
Their reason is we want to spend a years income on our trip.
My husband Intended to spend 4m for us all for the trip.
So in our forms we all filled 4m each, due to the fact that my hubby filled 4million as what he will spend for the trip.
Please what can be done?
Can we send a mail back telling them it’s not 4million each making a total of 20m but 4million for all of us.
Because that’s the reason for the refusal he got. Thanks.

Your mistake was to input 4mil for everybody! You should have shared the budget and input the alloted portion to everybody's form. E.g 800k for hubby, 700k for you etc. I don't thing emailing them will upturn this decision as they worked on the data you provided.

Your best bet is to reapply and correct that impression.

Aren't you the person who paid priority for 5 and giselle237 dey pray you got the visa if not the loss go too much embarassed

For Airfrance, I called their customer service to confirm and they said No.

It's already asked in the passenger locator form which you will approach them with, so they can see it.

He just asked who the person was ( I rented an apartment on AirBNB).

Pls share link to AirBNB. Can't seem to get a short stay apartment on booking.com

henryobinna:
Could you please explain how it all works because the report is very confusing and unclear.

Who is to pay businesses, individuals or both.
Also, is it compulsory? That is, what if you don't have nor listen to either radios and TVs are you also mandated to pay for a service you don't use?

How does it work really? Because the whole thing defeats logic, it's totally unreasonable in my opinion even for big businesses to pay.

It is not about using TV/ Radio per se. More about using any equipment that transmits waves. They targeted big businesses because they know we use internet and have no choice than to pay up or risk being sealed up or fined.

The first time we heard about it, I was on the team that liased with the AMAC people. We found out it had been one of the bye laws that wasnt put into use. The goverment of Bala Mohammed as FCT minister saw it as a means of generating income and a private firm was appointed to effect it. Their office used to be in UTC area 10, don't know if they are still there.

I have never heard about this type of tax anywhere in the world how can someone be taxed for living in an area where the govt established a radio and tv station? This buhari's regime have totally lost all legitimacy to still remain in power.

This has been going on in Abuja for like 8yrs. The only difference now is it is affecting small businesses. Banks were mostly targeted prior to now and I can tell you as at 2013, my branch was billed N1.2mil before it was brought down to N400k.

Not everything started with Buhari's regime.

All timeslot are available but for premuim lounge. Even the 8am and 3pm is not free service

Keep checking at regular intervals. Surprisingly at times, free dates pop up late night/midnight.

Good Evening Guys

Please help me here. Am applying for a 2 year visa for i and my wife but these are my issues.

I have made 2 huge withdrawals from my account to save in another account ( Which i ended up spending anyway) in other to block that those two withdrawals from been visible in my statement is it advisable to tender a 3 months Bank statement as against the regular 6 months?

I will so appreciate your help in answering these two questions.

Making withdrawals is not a bad thing, if anything, it shows activity on the account, also implies in a way that money is readily available to you.

Print your 6mths and explain the huge withdrawals

Good Morning everyone, I and My family plan to travel to Uk this December. My only concerns is that my daughter is just a year plus 8 month old but a friend of mine told me that i need to proof that she is in school (Creche). I tried to register her into a Creche but they told us to wait till December due to the pandemic.

Should we go ahead and apply without Creche?

I earn 499,500 monthly and spent 75k monthly
Wife 250,000 monthly and spent 25k

Any advice please?

By any standards, a 1yr 8mths old child is not up to school age! So that evidence does not add any significant value to your application Sir. Please go ahead and apply but ensure you attach her birth certificate to show fillial relationship.

Boko haram abi? Continue sir!

Still getting the same message.
Should I cancel the first appointment? It's on Tuesday.

Are you using a Naira mastercard? The limit on dollar transactions might be the reason. The first one went because it was within your monthly allowance.

Try using paga.

Do we need to write a cover/consent letter? (As their parents)

You may wish to include that if you feel it will help you. But the fact that the trip seem to be fully sponsored by the Father is consent in a subtle way.

I included a parental consent during mine because I was the one sponsoring our trip. My payslips, bank statements were used so I had to bring in something from their father to add credence to my application.

Kids visa are easy once the accompaning parent has a valid visa and funds is not an issue.

All the best ma'am smiley

Hello everyone.
I'm in the middle of filling my children's (3) application. All under age 10.
I have a valid visa.

1.How do I get their applications to be treated as one? Is it possible to link their applications? (Forms, submission, apppointment/biometrics, collection etc)
Please, note that we're using a single letter of invitation that carries all their names.

2. The cost of travelling part, is it right to fill just their flight expenses? Or do I need to include shopping, sightseeing and others?

3. Do I need to draw up an itinerary for them too?

4. Apart from their letter of invitation, host's documents, school records, birth certificates , father's payslips and bank statements, what other documents should I include please?

Thank you in anticipation of your help.

1. For form submission, Everybody has to fill a seperate form. However, link them by referring to each other wherever they ask if you are travelling with any other person. For Biometrics, Try and book appointment for same day even if it is not same time. Go at the first appointment time and let the staff at TLS know, they will merge all 3 applications into one. For collection, once they are captured together, you can be rest assured collection will be together as it is same ECO that will treat the application.

2. When i applied for my kids, all i did was put a bugdet! I didn't breakdown into expense heads. If you choose to, please go ahead and include sightseeing, transportation etc but leave out shopping(It is not a must)

3. Yes. Same itinerary would suffice for all 3kids

4. Include your current visa, expired visa's if you choose to also, marriage certificate. Their school documents will also help. You can get a letter from their educational provider addressed to UKVI to that effect.

Please , can anyone link me with tourist centres and shopping malls I can use( which are very closer to eachother) and the cheaper hotel within the area too. There website can be included. Thanks a lot.

Sorry oh bros! Nobody knows the part of Uk you choose to visit na, so the link to tourist centers, malls and cheap hotels you want help with go hard. cheesy

As for your hotel reservation, just the print out showing your reserved dates will suffice.

Hello house , I have sent reconsideration to UK , they have not responded to my message and my pp has been dispatched to tls . What do you think I should do?
A friend cancelled her Application because of ENDSARS curfew in osun state. Pls how will she get her refund, according to her , she has sent refund message to ukvi..... , But never get refund, how can she get the refund?
My cousin rebooked appointment for tomorrow after he was deny but on getting to the VFS to get his passport to be used for tomorrow appointment, his passport is not found in VFS and he has biometrics appointment tomorrow? Pls your input will be highly appreciated. Thanks

If your refusal is overturned, I believe UKVI will notify on how to go drop your passport back to TLS for the visa vignette.

As for your friend, refund for cancelled visa application takes 28 working days before it reflects back in your linked account. You might be lucky to get before 28, but that is the standard wait time.
