Culture / Re: Cats by iyawo1005(f): 9:45pm On Jun 19, 2008
I believe so too, I love cats but a couple girls in my classes say most nigerians hate them and think they are evil. Figured they were exaggerating.
Culture / Cats by iyawo1005(f): 9:29pm On Jun 19, 2008
Do you hate cats or think they are evil? If so, why do you think they are evil?

The reason I ask is that it seems a lot of people I have come across believe cats are evil but no one ever has a reason.

**Just wondering**

Kindly remove Indomie from the list. It is definitely not a Nigerian food. It is Noodles, eaten by the chinese.

@ omoge
Thanks I am very excited to go, purchased just today, a few presents grin grin

Also my boo said to not let anyone be rude to me, although he would not elaborate. I asked and he said he does not know what they would say but was just letting me know in case. Does anyone know what he would mean by this, maybe he just felt bad to tell me what he though they may say. Just want to be prepared because I am not one to confront someone if they are rude, I would just ignore it and kno my place with that person. To me confrontation is not necessary atleast in a scenario like this where it is people he knows.

I have gone to parties with him before but since this is a ladies only event
I need a little advice. Is there anything particular I would need to know about the babyshower, anything I should bring other than a present (like food). How long do I stay(so I dont overstay my welcome), etc. Please help!! ~Thanks~

Family / Boyfriends Mum Suprise Trip by iyawo1005(f): 12:01am On Feb 07, 2008
My boyfriend's mum is planning a trip here(america) to see him for his graduation from graduate school.
The catch is, she does not want him to know, she wants to suprise him.
I am all for suprises and I think it is great but my boyfriend told me from the beginning if she
were to try and come without notice and I knew about it to make sure I tell him.
I am not sure what do because who I am to ruin a suprise between mum and son but at the same
time he is my boyfriend and I would rather not lie to him.

Any thoughts?!?
Romance / Re: Who Sits In Front: Your Girlfriend Or Bestfriend? by iyawo1005(f): 10:51pm On Jan 29, 2008
How about your mum or your girlfriend (not wife)?
I would assume mum but my boyfriends mum insisted I sit in the front.
She said you are his girlfriend that is your proper place.
What are your thoughts?
Romance / Re: What Makes Him/her 'the One'? by iyawo1005(f): 4:17pm On Jan 25, 2008
@kobe
Yes I was a whole person before I came into the relationship but I had my flaws just like everyone else in this world and for the most part the flaws I have he is able to make up for, such as I am not the best at handling money and he is able to help me budget, savings etc. So if to you that is complement then I will say that we complement eachother.
Romance / Re: What Makes Him/her 'the One'? by iyawo1005(f): 8:25pm On Jan 24, 2008
What makes mine "the one" is we complete eachother, for the most part what I lack he has and vice versa. Along with this we are able to be completely honest with eachother and always try to not take eachother for granted.

I do not believe white people started wearing jeans first so that does not apply.

@OYIBO4U
I am not bored I had a question and asked it thats all but thanks for your concern and as for the Toyota reference, this model is marketed all over the world as for native it is usually worn by people within the culture.

@everyone

Thanks for your insight. I had received mixed comments on the subject and just wanted to hear others opinions.
Culture / Re: White/latino/asian Wearing Native by iyawo1005(f): 1:45am On Jan 05, 2008
Suits are worn in all countries most american/white people do not wear native usually unless they are friends or dating someone in a culture where there is native clothing.
