swezenberg: The answer is just 30 degree. The Polygon was only used to confuse many. Even if you use a polygon. It is a regular polygon with interior angle = 150 degree each. Since the triangle is Isosceles you have base angles s 75 degree each and and the last angle x =180-2(75) deg =30 deg. Besides the sum of the angle in a circle will remain to be 360. So 360/12 =30 deg
From an Engineer's perspective Lol... Pls can you solve from a carpenter's perspective? Sebi it is different answers for different professions? |

Ndeewonu: There is a little confusion here concerning what they mean by "X".
However, if "X" is the angle between the two polygons, then...
Simply use INTERIOR (or EXTERIOR) ANGLES OF A REGULAR POLYGON formula.
Sum of Interior Angles = (n-2) × 180°
Each Angle (of a Regular Polygon) = (n-2) × 180° / n
Then, we have a polygon with 12 sides...
Each INTERIOR angle = (12-2) x 180/12
INT angle = 10 x 180/12
= 1800/12 = 150'
Each of the two adjoining INT angles of the 12-sided polygons = 150'
Therefore, the total angles = 150' x 2 = 300'
A circle = 360'
Therefore to find the inclined angle X,
360' - 300' = 60'
Ans = 60' You jus had to get 60 degrees.... Ya like me... We both want to win, so we copy answers from the back of the text book. |

Teempakguy: what's baffling here is that i don't know what to solve for. there clearly are two black lines along one coin. implying we have to solve for the angle subtended by the chord which is the side, and then there's that big, red X right in the middle of the coins, implying that we need to solve for the angle between the coins. and both answers are in the options.
anyway, to solve for the angle between two black lines, that is, if x is referring to that angle,
total angle in a circle, divided by twelve possible chords. 360/12 = 30.
to solve for the angle between the coins, angle in a straight line, minus interior angle between lines. 180 - 150 = 30. this will give us half the angle of that point. because we had to draw a straight line, dividing that angle in two. then simply multiply by two and the angle you need is 60 degrees.
but which one are we supposed to find?!
I'm going for the one within the two black lines. seems legit. so, the answer is 30 degrees. This one is Obviously a politician |

babseg: What's the answer Half of a polygon is equal to the regular size of the circle. The angle marked x is equivalently attached to the total degrees in a circle which is equal to 360. When you check the obtuse angle created when the two fifty cents meet ( although I think there is just one fifty cent). X is equals to 60 degrees if you look at it head on.. But turn it to the side and x could be 30 degrees. *deep sigh* Honestly, I do not know the answer. I just copied that guy that said 60 degrees |

Romance › Re: I Am Ashamed Of Myself Right Now... by iyke2ken(m): 4:02pm On Nov 03, 2015 |
SSpeter: Helo Dudes am so ashamed of myself right now. I always hated weekends and often do overtime at work even when my boss screams "No payment for Overtime"...
I don't take off days even when I had to be on site late at night. I don't see myself as a workaholic because an average black man doesn't like work. Not because of the money either (though I will love to quit if a better offer springs up and am not relenting in the search)...but just to erase my mind off temptations. I spend my Sundays at my sister's house so that the kids will keep me preoccupied.
I am a strong advocate of #NOsexB4Marriage...Although during my University days I had smitten more kity kats than most guys will ever dream of. I had a re-orientation during my service year and took up the tag #Abstinence...I try to limit my discussions and interactions with the opposite sex, I don't approve of excessive touching and I preoccupy my thoughts with work..
Sundays are the worst days "no work"...so I am always extra careful and often stay glued to my routines....the firm I worked with just handed over a secondary school to her clients on the 23rd of last month and those of us who were immersed in the project and saw it to fruition were given 2 weeks break and a paltry sum as bonus.
2 weeks! That was where my problem started. First I travelled to stay with my parents spent three days wasn't comfortable because that was the neighbourhood I grew up, the ladies there may still think a leopard doesn't change its spot...I left when I saw so many temptations and green lights...I went to my sister's house and it's just the same thing because I have also tested some of the kity kats from the flats below...then my cousin persuaded me to come to portharcourt I haven't seen him in a decade.
When I got to PH I told my cousin of my new stand and he said "whatever rocks your boat"... The next two days, we had fun bought some item until ****** showed up ...she was my cousin's friend. She was not a threat and she doesn't even dress hot. So I let down my guard whenever she visits. She cooked, we ate and I thought perhaps she was one of my cousin's numerous GFS.
Two days ago, my cousin told me they are going to watch Nigeria match in a bar. I am not a football fan,Tennis rocks my boat. So I preoccupied my self with a movie. About an hour later she came back and told me my cousin and his crew are cracking too many stuffs and she is no longer comfortable (My cousin is a Med doc. But he smokes at least a packet of B&H everyday + or minus other additives). I said okay. She went to lie on the bed and later I joined her. The apartment is a mini flat and the sitting room is tiled. Just a mattress no duvet so we slept on the same mattress. Truth be told I could not remember anything until I saw myself shooting fluid in a latex material. Everything vanished from my eyes I was filled with hate. The next morning I had my bath, called my cousin and was shocked when he told me he was already @ work I carried my bag and the lady quickly took her shower and left. I went straight to the hospital gave him the key to his apartment. I had already told him my boss asked me to rush down......I left PH....sad....this morning I woke up feeling sad. The memory with the lady that night keeps occupying my mind and she even sent a text that "she loves me because I am cool headed, polite and handsome"....I was further peeved by her subsequent messages. Now I am just ashamed of Myself...and am still asking; how did it happen why was I not reasonable enough?...well I have learnt my lesson..."Emotions are stronger than Knowledge" And you had to have the latex material handy..... Smh for you |

blueto: Whoops!
I concess that the Nigerian team is not deviod of age cheating, buy I can affirm that virtually every team in this competition are also guilty of it.
Besides, This current set of our u-17 lads appears to be juveniles. thus, age cheating have immensely reduced to an infinitesimal level in Nigeria.
I still think that the problem goes beyond the 'age cheating' because we should be winning the U-20 world cup trophy, because the duration that seperates the two competitions(u17 & u-20) is just two years interval. they are supposed to maintain thesame or more level of vibrancy in u-20 competitions, because you don't expect mere two years to have a negative influence on them due to their ages. Applaudise for you...... I like how you say 'infinitesimal'. |
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Mexico: FIFA U-17 Semi Final 4 - 2 Full Time! by iyke2ken(m): 3:17pm On Nov 03, 2015 |
blueto: I presume that one of the reasons for the impermanence and indubitable failure to implicitly transits the sublime performance to the senior world cup is because of lack of steadfastness by homogeneous set of players.
we were hoping and maintaing a resolute fidelity on the previous U-17 lads to evovle to the U-20 world cup and win it, since they did absolutely well in the U-17. but they ended up being one of the commiserated teams in the tornament.
this is because they are now virtually deviod of thesame level of dedication and passsion of which they formally possessed during the U-17 world cup. they played the U-17 world cup with great commitment because they know that it was an unprecedented vantage of displaying their phenomenal talents to the world, and most especially to secure the attention and the induction into some prestigious clubs, to play and earn in the top league and clubs! At this stage, they are ready to do anything just to record an impressive performance.
But onces they have succesfully achieved this objective, they begin to exprience a frivolous and a declining enthusiasm for the national team. they no longer put in their best, because of they have gotten want they wanted.
And aslo because of the saying that 'Nigeria is not worth dieing for' If any detrimental situation betide them during national football matches, they will be forgotten without any indemnification for them and their families. Nigerias praise and consider you when you are active and yeilding great results, but they desert you in the time of adversity. And I predicate that such pedestrian mindset by Nigerians is one of the major deterrents to them. Na wa ooo.... Person no day follow you play again? You take things too personal. |
