All I wish is for Alex to get admission into a higher institution which would take him away from that compound. Just like Anita told him, his naivety is so glaring. He will eventually & definitely get himself into trouble & shame, if he doesn't leave the compound soon. You can't be too careful playing that game.
Well done OP. Thanks for the lengthy update. Looking forward to more
LiteratureRe: Choices: Another Perspective by iykeany: 10:40pm On Apr 10, 2020
It's unfortunate that Alex's naivety about women will be his undoing. He thinks he knows one or two things about women but obviously they're not showing in his actions. Telling Anita about the age difference btw them & the way he did it isn't smart. Then, the deed has been done already the very 1st time he gave Debby cunnilingus, she practically went to heaven & back. The feeling is too good not to want a repeat. He should start looking for another accommodation cause she won't stop demanding for it again & again until it comes to the open & they both will be shamed & disgraced.

Nice one Solo. Keep up the good work.

This update is massive, like it wasn't going to end. Well done OP. You've always gone out of your way to satisfy your fans. Thumbs up.

Alex is very smart but how long will it last in a face me & face you compound? Knowing his neighbors & the in fighting between them causing bad belle. He should put a stop to the unholy sexual escapade with a married neighbor. Though he has shown some level of restraint & discipline due to past experiences in the face of temptation in the past, but he is losing his resolve & giving in to his fantasies. For a young man that has a whole future before him, he should think of himself more & what the future holds for him than pleasing the lustful desires of a woman he shouldn't have anything to do with in the 1st place. He can never be too careful

No bro. Your business was thriving on corruption then. That's why you are feeling it now.

Now listen. There is no free money again so go and do honest work.
Escapist mindset
To you the millions of jobs lost in the country in the past three years are jobs that thrived on corruption.
FYI the so called free money & dishonest work is far more in this present government than all the governments before it since the country's return to democracy in 1999, I'm telling you this for free as someone privy with information you can never know or get to know. Also, I don't get patronage from government in any form whatsoever, directly or indirectly, in the past or presently. Moreover, I say it the way it is, no vilification intended. If you like you take it or don't take it, please yourself.

This is why I always refer people like you as lazy youths. So for your mind all this mess PDP collectively created was caused by Buhari. ...hmmmm Lazy
Absolute delusion
If we didn't feel the mess created by PDP within the 16years they were in government as we are doing now in this APC government, definitely, they were doing something commendable.

LoveToRead:
I would quickly avert my look and shift my eyes to something else. After the meal, we had some wine. It was well after nine p.m by the time I stood up to go.

'Thank you, madam, for the privilege of knowing and mixing with your wonderful daughters,' I said. 'I must say this is a wonderful family. Steph, once again, welcome to your wonderful home. We'll be seeing again.'

'Thanks for your time, Alex,' Madam B said. 'See you tomorrow.'

I left the place. I was so full that I decided not to take any thing else that evening. The following morning, I dressed up for work a brown jacket on a cream colour shirt - no tie. I could have driven my new car to office since I already knew how to drive. However, I needed to renew my expired driving licence.

The Saturday of that week, I got a surprise call from Steph. Her sister must have given her my number. Talking about Sophia, the English lessons I was taking her had been suspended due to my busy schedule. It was not easy combining my work with the lessons.

Now, Steph was the one on the line.

'Alex, will you be chanced to accompany me out? I want to do some shopping.'

My mind raced. Me? Why should I be the one to accompany her?

'I've told mum, and she says no problem,' she went on.

I felt relieved. 'That will be no problem, Steph. It will be a pleasure.'

'Alright. We'll be in your house to pick you.'

'No problem. I'll be waiting.'

I got myself ready. I decided to wear a Chinos trouses and a designer t-shirt made by Armani. I also applied Christian Dior perfume. I must look good.

Mr. Taju drove the Lexus jeep inside the compound after eleven. I locked my apartment and went to the car.

'Hello, uncle Alex,' Sophia greeted.

'Morning, Sophia. How're you?'

'Cool.'

She and her sister were at the back seat. I opened the right front door and entered the car.
Thumbs up to this story for finally bringing me out from my ghost mode. I normally don't follow a story like I'm doing with this.
LoveToRead well done. But I feel you should make each update longer

CelebritiesRe: 5 Artistes Who Started Their Careers With OJB Jezreel by iykeany: 8:06pm On Jun 15, 2016
Life is indeed ephemeral, we are here today and tomorrow we are no more. People always ask why the good ones die early? Whereas the bad or wicked ones live to a ripe old age. I think the Bible actually answered that, God is taking them way so they won't experience the perilous times, but they've made their mark and have stamped their feet in the sands of time. So it is left for the living to sow seeds that will outlive them.

Eternity is real. Where you choose to spend yours is a function of how you lived your life here(on earth).

RIP OJB Jezreel!!!

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Is The Reason Some States Cannot Pay Salaries – Oshiomole by iykeany: 9:39am On Jun 02, 2016
It was the late musical icon, the legendary Bob Marley that sang in one of his songs that "you can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time". This is so true with the way the APC is going about casting down the last administration and trying to blame it for the present calamitous situation of the country and pushing it down our throat to swallow by constantly bringing it up, i must commend them cause they have in actual fact being able to do just that as evident with some responses we see.
What is pathetic is the evident polarization of citizens based on political affiliation, tribal and religious leanings. It is so appalling that at this age and time when most countries are forging ahead economically, proffering solutions to different challenges besetting them the government of our country lead by APC is fanning amber of discord among it's citizens by it's actions and utterances. These men and women claim to be progressives but have succeeded in retrogressing the state of the economy in the last one year. Maybe someone should point out any economic blueprint this government is working on, remember that if you fail to plan you have actually planned to fail. Little wonder we are where we are now and things may not likely change in the nearest future because obviously they haven't learnt anything in the last one year to show they are really ready to govern and turn things around with unfortunate utterances like this from one of them. No man is an island, some of the people on the supposedly 'other divide' may have solutions that is required to turn things around for good.

Please i beckon on our leaders, time they say waits for no man.
We just need to start doing, not just doing but doing the needful now.

God bless Nigeria!
PoliticsRe: Fulani Herdsmen Destroy Ortom’s Rice Farm; Kill 50 by iykeany: 3:04pm On May 27, 2016
This Buhari Libyans may be boko haram given a new task by buhari haven perfectly finished their first assignment of making the previous government look incompetent.

Hmmm could this be true? PMB earlier told us killer herdsmen are from Libya, recently COAS Burutai told us they are likely Boko haram members. if you cast your mind back early in the life of this administration the first order given by PMB was that military check points should be removed, an order which he later denied. If one put two and two together your the earlier assertion could be true.
PoliticsRe: El-rufai Is Nothing But A Coward And An Alcoholic- Shehu Sani by iykeany: 6:19pm On May 20, 2016
“The use of APC Kaduna to fight Shehu Sani by El-Rufai is a testimony to how timid and mischievous the governor is. El-Rufai is a man who had abused PMB and only aligned himself with him when Yar’adua and GEJ denied him juicy ministerial positions and recognition he craved.
“El-Rufai is a bad and rotten egg in the APC. He knelt down for Atiku to become BPE chair and later betrayed him. He knelt down for Obj to become a minister and later betrayed him. He knelt down for Buhari to be governor of which later he will betray him. Fear El-Rufai whenever he kneels down before you.

By their fruits we shall know them, kneeling down to get something from a superior is El-Rufai's strategy of gaining their trust which he thereafter throws to the trash can as soon as he gets what he wants. Yar'adua and GEJ saw through his sycophancy and hypocrisy which explains why he was vehemently critical of their government. We know all of them that engage in such but it is left for the people to discern when they come with their stupid sermon to get their trust.
PoliticsRe: NLC Strike: Apc Is Setting A Dangerous Precedence. by iykeany: 3:52pm On May 18, 2016
If the pendulum swings tomorrow and the Ajero faction suddenly becomes antagonistic, where will the govt run to? It's a dangerous game.

This makes it the second time, ever wondered why much wasn't achieved by labour in protest to the hike in electricity tarriff by government earlier in the year?
This government is adopting the divide and rule mechanism to water down the powers of NLC. I won't be surprised if much aren't achieved too now in this protest against fuel price hike. Though, it all started with the Obasanjo regime by recognising the TUC and polarizing workers based on cadre. It high time labour device other means to make govt assent to their demands other than strike action.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Goes From Powerhouse To Pariah As 'hurricane' Hits Economy by iykeany: 3:04pm On May 09, 2016
Nigeria will be great again only if we go back to the regional system of government we once practiced. This humongous central system of government foisted on us by the military has done nothing but to create in us laziness in mind by encouraging feeding bottle federating States that can't sustain itself.

We cannot continue to delude ourselves into thinking if corruption is defeated most of our problems will be solved, yes corruption is endemic to every system of government and is injurious to the growth of any state, but corruption thrives because we practice a system of government that encourages stealing, to say the truth corruption will still be perpetrated no matter what, but a workable system whereby every possible loophole that allows for such is blocked i.e prevention rather than curative approach is the best bet to eliminating corruption.

The earlier we come to terms with the reality on ground and the need to find a lasting solution devoid of sentiment and bias(political affiliation and tribal) the better for us.
PoliticsRe: How Do You Put Atiku, Buhari And Tinubu In One Political Pot? – Lamido by iykeany: 1:38pm On Apr 24, 2016
Obere4u:
“In the build-up to the last general election, PDP was vilified, intimidated with religion, falsehoods and propaganda through Facebook postings.

Was APC not branded as a Muslim party in SE and SS? Didn't PDP claim that PMB main agenda is to Islamise Nigeria? Was PMB no branded as the chief sponsor of BH? Didn't PDP claim that APC is a Muslim party? what did APC do in the north that PDP didn't do in the east? PDP lost out due to miscalculation and APC capitalized on that. When FFK and Mama Peace were busy attacking PMB personality even aired it on a TV station, didn't they know? PDPings are sore loser and will lose again because APC have come to stay and WILL put things in order.....
APC hasn't shown that they've come to stay or that they can put things in order if we go by the events of the last eleven (11)months as regards it's ability to find lasting solution to the challenges we face as a country. So, the former governor of Jigawa, Sule Lamido saying " We want to force them (APC) out in 2019
because they have no agenda and manifesto to
govern.” is saying it as it is and as it will be come 2019 by God's grace. Change don't just happen, you just don't sit and do nothing and expect change to come, PMB don't have an economic blueprint, for him & his cohorts what they have proposed is at best a trial and error plan which is utopian & unrealisable.
Time they say will tell. Mark my words

Change is not easy. It goes through a painful process. If you want change,be ready to suffer a bit. Nigeria is undergoing the right process and at some point, her citizens will realize it.
If things were that bad after 16yrs of PDP's reign as APC made us believe and are still saying by blaming the PDP for the rot, do we still have to go through a painful process like you want us to realize?

Nigerians are the pawn that must be sacrificed to achieve what in particular?
PoliticsRe: Fani Kayode Blasts Emir Sanusi by iykeany: 8:33pm On Apr 11, 2016

PoliticsRe: Judiciary Has Crumbled Under Buhari’s Threats – Adegboruwa by iykeany: 9:32am On Mar 27, 2016
We need true federalism in this country, the unitary system of government we practice now is too unwieldy to administer & to achieve any meaningful development. The earlier we revisit some of the recommendations of the last national conference the better for us.

Some might say the man is wailing, but he has every right to, if wailing means seeing that things be done the right way so be it, lest we keep assuming that the body language or is it 'body odour' now of the sitting President is at play.
PoliticsRe: Heartmelting Open Letter To Ekiti State Governor Dr Ayo Fayose by iykeany: 8:33am On Mar 01, 2016
Fayose is on point. Whether his criticism of the FG & the President is based on hate or devoid of substance you will agree with me it is hitting target and producing the needed result as seen by the President's order to probe the killings of farmers by herdsmen and the budget debacle.
I don't think there is any prerequisite qualification to becoming an opposition. We all need to work together to make this democracy thrive and grow.
PoliticsRe: How Abubakar Audu's Sons Serially Raped A Young Girl Years Back. by iykeany: 8:37pm On Nov 27, 2015
Sugabelly may be perceived to be vilifying the Audus, but this alleged crime throws up many faults in our attitude to cases of rape especially the discouragement from close relatives & friends to the victim not to press charges against the rapist if known or reporting a rape case to the appropriate authorities in the course of armed robbery or armed rapist because of the negative light at which rape victims are treated. Also our criminal justice system needs to be overhauled, a situation where evidence is a prerequisite for favorable judgment doesn't encourage victims of rape to come out and when they do, they hardly get justice. The period of validity within which it is expected for a case of rape to be filed should also be looked into.

Whether justice is seen to be served or not in this case, the one thing we can be sure of is that the evil that men do don't only lives after them but catches up with them the time of committing the crime notwithstanding.
