The issue is not about subsidy. The issue is that the whole refineries in nigeria don't work so we are heavily dependent on importing fuel. Fix the refineries and the price of fuel will drastically reduce and there wouldn't be any need for subsidy. All the importers will have no choice but to adjust their prices. But no, they won't fix the refineries because they are chopping heavily from subsidy.
