kingthreat: My cousin went to USA in 2015 at Age 30. When asked about her plans for marriage, she said she would marry a white man. As at 2020, she was still single. Her parents were asking her if every white man in a group picture with her is her fiance and she said "No". Last year babe came to Nigeria codedly and got married to the only of her ex-boyfriends who is unmarried. I was lucky to be there at the wedding, when asked why she no marry Oyinbo, she said "God forbid". It is obvious it is much easier for a Nigerian man to marry a white woman than for a Nigerian woman to marry a white man. Even if the latter happens, it rarely does last long. she is very wise. I won’t advise anyone to marry a white persona |

purplish: Hi everyone
Quick question please.
Has anyone ever experienced a case where applications submitted on the same day as yours have been decided by the embassy, but your application number was not included in the reports on the weekly decision page?
Submitted my study application since September and the embassy is currently treating applications received on 11th October. No news or updates on my application, and I am beginning to get worried because I need my passport back ASAP. I don't know why some decisions are made 5 weeks and less and other take longer time to make decisions. |

ICaSNg: Explanation of lump sum can be embedded in your sponsorship letter or you could have a separate letter for that- the most important thing is that all lump sum should b explained with proof -e.g Proceeds from sale of landed property or share dividends or Treasury bills etc-include all necessary proof backing sum lump sums thanks so much. mine is that my mum took a loan from her company cooperative to boost my travel. it is reflecting on her payslip. and the cooperative wrote to the embassy that she is saving with them. but am afraid a loan might look desperate to travel. I don't know if I should say she withdrew from the coporative and don't mention the loan |
