OK..Just to be sure, their course ends in June 2025. Do you mean we can do the medicover one of 160 Euros for courses under one academic year? No need for the one of 600 Euros for above one academic year? Really sorry to bother. We are just trying to get things right. You know the whole story. Thanks. ICaSNg: |

Hi house, I will please appreciate your inputs! I plan to pay full tuition fee before applying for Visa. Total sum is 16500 euro which is more than the 15000 dollars approved government intervention fund via form A, with most Nigerian banks. I would like to ask if I can make tuition payment using two different channels (form A and Transfermate) without having issues with Visa processing. I will likewise appreciate any other means of pulling this through at a good rate. Thanks everyone! |
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Chibzee2: 7:06pm On Jun 01, 2021 |
bspyce:you can make the payment in two parts from the same bank all form A, say you pay 10k first, get a reciept for part payment, then you pay 6k5 and get a recipt from the school confirming full tuition depost. |
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by bspyce(m): 8:31pm On Jun 01, 2021 |
Chibzee2: Thank You. I was told by Zenith and Stanbic IBTC that I can only access cash through form A once in 3 months. School resumes in 3 months time and that will defeat the purpose. That's my challenge really. |
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by Chibzee2: 1:46am On Jun 02, 2021 |
bspyce:I tried to pay all at once, ut the bank didn't have enough fx, so just about half went through..February i think, then right away, I reinitiated for the balance. coincidentally it was the first week of March....so I did twice in two months, maybe it's because it's below 15k, I'm not sure. I would advise you to visit Eco bank and inquire. |

Please what is the format for writing a motivation letter? 17 Oladapo Oke Street, Alagbado, Lagos, Nigeria. Tel: +2347033330932. The Consulate General, Ireland Embassy. 22A Lugard Avenue, Ikoyi 13th June, 2021. Dear Sir/Ma, LETTER OF MOTIVATION I am writing this letter to apply for a long-term student visa for Ireland to complete my master's program in Cloud Technologies and Research at Letterkenny Institute of Technology. Ireland is steadily and increasingly exerting her dominance in the world of research and academics and I believe in the future ahead. I choose Ireland because it has one of the best and quality education system which combine the theoretical knowledge and practical training to produce a graduate who is well prepared for the work environment and research field. Ireland now boasts a significant presence of most major tech companies in the world, such as Microsoft, Dell, Intel, IBM, SAP, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, HubSpot and PayPal. It will be a great opportunity for me to learn the Irish language which is becoming more important in the global market every day. My interest in Cloud Technologies and Research developed during my degree program, and I presently work with Tek Experts Nigeria, has influenced my desire to advance my knowledge in such field. This influence is due to my role as a Microsoft 365 Exchange Online Engineer which entails me to provide worldwide technical support for Microsoft online services. I have been exposed to courses like Virtual server administration, Private Cloud Technologies, Enterprise, and Data Center Network which have installed in me a strong aspiration and passion for cloud technologies and research. From the understanding of the concept from these courses, I have been able to expertly connect with the computer technologies we use. I am much eager to enrich my knowledge about the complex features of new and future Cloud technologies and Research and, therefore, adapt such knowledge in order to advance society. I choose the Letterkenny Institute of Technology because it provides quality education that combines theoretical knowledge and practical training to the student and it is one of the best universities of applied science in Ireland. It has an excellent learning environment with modern infrastructure and well-equipped laboratories with the latest technology to provide technical expertise with the right skills, whereby it creates a high level of success within a short period of time. Becoming a part of the Letterkenny Institute of Technology, I will be able to create and bring lots of innovative ideas. Letterkenny Institute of Technology will allow me to develop my professional experiences by interacting with students, lecturers, and others, discovering new cultures and traditions. Nigeria is my home country; it is an independent and promising country. It is developing but has some challenges in terms of information technology. Our society needs people that are adequately trained for the right skills to help give society more innovative, empirical, and sustainable solutions. Nigeria has one of the largest Information Technology sectors in Africa with millions of subscribers, making the Telecommunication sector a very profitable sector after the oil and gas sector. My plan after graduation is to come back to my home country and use the knowledge and technical skills I have acquired to venture into the telecommunication sector and also provide technical advice to the advancement and implementation of information technology advancement in different fields in my country. Thank you for considering my visa application and I look forward to being given the opportunity to make career dream true. Yours Sincerely, xxxxxxxxxxxx. 9 Likes |

Hello house, for someone with monthly income of over 1m, whats the appropriate amount to start explanations for as bulk sum. Also, do I need to present the statement from which the school fees was paid? Thirdly, a bank statement that is 3weeks old, is it too stale for submission? Bank statement is stamped 31st May but appointment is booked for 21st June. Do we need to get a new statement before 21st June? Thank you all. |

Chikirim: Hello, Congratulations. I live in Cork. Just opposite UCC. Its a great institution. You appear to be quite in a rush. I understand. But i’ll urge you to take things calmly. Talking from experience.... making a move with your family requires significant planning especially given their age. I hope you have done your research very well. If you and the children will be living in a foreign country for the first time, its going to be a huge transition and its wont happen in a snap. Getting the visa is the least of the problem. You’ll get it promptly. I hope you coming with enough funds. Even though you are on scholarship, your stipends wont cover you and your family’s living cost especially given the age of your children. You’ll need accommodation of around 1,200 euros per month, that alone takes almost all of your annual stipend. At Stamp 2, you are really restricted to work and the phd program is rigorous. If you are over 40, its gets more difficult to devote longer hours to study and research. You are exempt form access public funds and so you’ll have to pay for everything from your pocket. Bottomline. You got to research your move by yourself and make proper planning. You are coming for a Phd and you have to be a strong self starter otherwise my best advice is for you to come to Cork first, learn the ropes, make adequate preparation for your family to join you in the next six to eight months , especially because of their age. The Phd program is a marathon not a sprint, so don't rush please I wish you the very best. 5 Likes |
