In terms of waste management, Lagos is Number 1. If you score Lagos 10%, be ready to some states -300%.
Another state that tries is Enugu. Can't say for a lot sha.
The major problem is the inability to separate waste so that it can be recycled.
If we can be recycling 80% of our waste, we wouldn't need lands everywhere for disposal. |

BlueRayDick: Lagos has 5 divisions ; IBILE(Ikorodu , Badagry, Ikeja, Lagos Island and Epe). They can site dumps in all 5 divisions by choosing a location that is yet to be developed and then forbid development of residential properties in those choice locations.
At least I know this is achievable for Badagry, Epe and Ikorodu. There are places not yet developed in those areas.
As for Lagos Island, the whole division is not that big , they can use the same dump site as Epe division.
As for Ikeja Division which consists of Agege, Ifako-Ijaiye, Kosofe, Mushin, Alimosho, Oshodi-Isolo, Somolu and Ikeja LGA's , I honestly don't know of any non-residential area/undeveloped area they can site the dump sha
Maybe Lagos state government can buy acres of land from Ogun state and site the dump around all those Ota, Atan side sha The dumpsite for Lagos Island is located at the end of Third Mainland....After Adeniji Adele. It was Ambode that built it. Very standard |

Nelochukwu: My brother I'm just so weak at the level of minds that comment on this thread. See. I used to earn 3.5m per annum in Skye Bank 2014. After doing training school at Onireke Ibadan in 2013 skye Graduate Intensive Training SGIT after 6 months and confirmation I started earning and with quarterly 13thmonth etc 350k per month. Now a bag of rice then was less than 12k. At that level I should be earning like 2.5m in present day by the standard of inflation in 2014 cause then I have recall my house rent was 300k. I would usually wait for one quarterly and pay rent.
Here we are 10years later. I'm. Business owner also hustling and my mates in the same stream are either SBOs or AMs how much do they earn. None. I repeat NONE of them earn more than mein a month.
Now an Uber guy is gifted 5m plus a toks car and someone said his not smart. Lol. Can salary earners boast of 500k in their accounts? I mean a whole5m ans a toks corolla to further make money. Mehn iz like someone working in corporate world given a better job(toks corolla) I mean better than whatever he earns and also 5m. Even if u gift davido 5m he will thank u.
Truth is iz poor minds with broke inferiority complex who have nothing to their names and feel threatened by their own natural instincts to make money on d streets instead being paid all their lives to forget their own lives.
Abeg live and let live I am happy that guy got a reward swiftly. In a country like Nigeria, nothing is guaranteed. You can sue Honourable, and 5 years later, una still dey go court Honourable can afford to go to court 10 times in a day..Uber driver cannot. Honourable wey get thugs here and there, fit design your disappearance...Nothing go still happen. God be praised, for keeping the driver away from people who have cleaners that won't collect the 5 million. |

pope191: E shock you! 😂😂 you guys don’t know anything about synchronizing. There’s a way you’ll follow Dangote and you’ll start seeing yourself as him. Richness 101 🤦♂️ Anyone's financial positions is not even an issue. It is how they make judgements without substance that is quite funny. Firstly 1) The Bolt driver did not file any case in court. He recorded what happened and posted it online. It went viral and prompted the Police and NASS to start investigations. Maybe I am wrong, but no court case is acknowledged for this 2) The investigations will most likely lead to sanctions for the lawmaker, not necessarily to compensate the driver. He will most likely be suspended or any other stuff. That's where the investigation will lead to. In a country filled with injustice, and God shows you mercy to see 5 million to collect, how can someone say he could have made more? ENSSARS victims that were brutalised, how much dem collect, after waiting years? Police have shot people innocently and officers dismissed. How much dem pay the victims? Thank God that Uber guy is not on this thread. Otedolas here would have advised him to reject 5 million, and wait for 15 years later to collect 10 million. |
