AlphaMaximus: The circumcentre of a triangle is the point in the triangle equidistant from all three vertices/the point where any two perpendicular bisectors of any two of the three sides of a triangle intersect. Therefore to find the circumcentre of a triangle, we have to obtain the midpoints of two sides, their gradients and find the equations of each of their perpendicular bisectors and equate them to solve simultaneously for the x and y coordinates of the circumcenter. To find midpoint of side AB: (X1+X2/2 , Y1+Y2/2)<====midpoint of AB The gradient ====>(y2-y1/x2-x1) Therefore the equation of the parallel bisector of AB is found using: Y-y1=m(x-x1) Y-y1=[y2-y1/x2-x1](x-x1)........eq1 Now repeating the same procedure for line BC: Midpoint====>(x2+x3/2,y2+y3/2) Gradient=====>(y3-y2/x3-x2) Equation of perpendicular bisector===> Y-y2=m(x-x2) Y-y2=[y3-y2/x3-x2](x-x2).......eq2 After both equations have been obtained , you simply solve simultaneously and obtain the values of x and y which are the x and y coordinates of the circumcentre. Yes, that's the basic. I need a compact formula. The type that you will just slot in the vertices and the answer will come out. |

benbuks: Draw lines from one vertex to a mid point. You'll do this three times. Then get equations for each line and solve the three simultaneous equations. Sir, is that not a referrence to the centroid? |

Let A(x1, y1), B(x2, y2) and C(x3, y3) be the vertices of triangle ABC. Derive the formula for the coordinates of it's circumcentre.

lawa18: The whole advice boils down to the fact that I should let them be. God knws am jst concerned about his future happiness. I promise to always remember them in prayers n let them be come ooo do not leave them alone as most people said, because if your brother don't make it in life and you made it, then people will expect you to help him out. If he ends up with her, the breeze of the psychological trauma they will bear in treating the (almost possible) sickler child of union will certainly reach your side. Remember if (God forbid anyway) your brother leaves this world anytime before you, the job of taking care of his family will rest squarely on those you and your family (especially if the girl doesnt have any ''meaningful'' work). Come on, disclose at least the fact that their genotypes doesn't match to your parents. They deserve to know! |
Family › Re: My Brother Is Stupidly In Love With The Wrong Person by jackpot(f): 5:58am On Jul 13, 2014 |
ElGuapo: @Op, Bar the genotype incompatibility, is there anyother concrete reason you have for your bruh not to get married to his fiancee?
If your answer to the above question is a capital NO then I'd advice you to let 'em be.
Listen, I once met a lady who had every feature I craved for in a woman. To me, she puts the P in perfection but dang! She was a sickler.
Friends expected me to back off at this point but man I didnt, for pete's sake she's got what I need in a lady, do I have to lose gold just b'cos of a lil scratch? She could be the last of her kind, so I couldn't allow people's views get to me - theories were propagated anyway and one was that El Guapo is serving some serious Ogoja spell
Your bro could be in such situation and I dont see your opinion or that of your parents changing anything.
I'd advice that you lot stray off his union. Instead of the incessant interferance, support him and his decision, they could become the perfect couple earth has been searching for aeons.
You dont have to push the emergency button when there aint any hazard. didn't you see where he said the brother's girlfriend takes call from other suitors in his presence? The girl in question is using the brother to wait for Mr Right, and she's probably baaaanging outside the friendship. |

Lately I've been hearing rumors of ghost roaming around in neighborhood so I'm trying not to fall asleep. There is a graveyard close nearby. OMG! Then, they started moping at me like a photographer from 1905. I looked back and what I saw trembled me the most. Their eye-sockets were hollow. Next thing they did was to start singing my name ''jackpooooooooot''. How they managed to do that, I couldn't understand because their lips were not moving. Suddenly, my dishes in the kitchen started breaking, an interval of 3 seconds inbetween. The next thing I heard from them was a hysterical laughter, still with their lips sealed. The sound couldn't have come from my 8-batteries radio or my black and white television, because there were no light since midnight the day before. It was the witches, since the sound was coming from their direction. I was shivering like a homeless rat in a winter. . . |

benbuks: i need complete solution dear . cot = cos/sin cos (x+ pi/2)=- sin x and sin(x+ pi/2)=cos x. thus, cot(x+ pi/2)= (-sin x)/(cos x)=-tan x. The rest follows by understanding that the smallest positive number P for which tan(x+P)=tan x is P=pi. |

try....asap. your function is equivalent to f(x)=-tan x, which has the period n(pi), where n is a natural number. But, the fundamental period is pi. This question looks too simple that I even feel maybe I didnt understand it well. |
