It is obvious that Lagos is an elite city; the elite's vote has to go to Obi, just like it is in Abuja where Obi is expected to win with landslide. APC can expect their bulk votes elsewhere from the uninformed and the hinterlands. It is understandable. I also like to use this opportunity to thank the elite Yoruba that ignored tribalism to vote Obi. Lets put tribalism and fear of the swelling population of Igbos/South South in Lagos aside, we know that Obi is actually better to do the job. Actually, he is a simple man, in the mould of Jonathan but more financially prudent. We can also turn on him and vote him out after 4 years if he doesn't deliver. If you want Lagos to be less enticing to the Igbos and the South/South, then expand the sea ports at Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Rivers, so that large vessels can bring goods there. You don't want to build it because them leaving to South South for business will affect your IGR. Yet, you are always disenfranchising them; it is not fair to them. We are blessed as a diverse nation. The Igbos/SS are good in business, the Yorubas are good in education and the Hausas/Fulanis are good in agriculture and politics. It should be our source of strength, instead of division. This election shows Nigerians that Igbos love Nigeria but wants to be treated right in it. It also shows that Nigerians also love the Igbos, because some Northerners and Edos/SS voted Peter Obi massively. A Yoruba friend and Lagos indigene was lamenting that Kano overtook Lagos during census because a good number of the South South and the Igbos leave for their homelands during census instead of staying to swell Lagos population. Why won't they when you always make them feel unwelcomed? Nigeria is for all of us and a lot of us do not like the ways the Igbos are being marginalized. Also, why can't we forget about who owns Lagos (we know it is in the Yoruba territory) and work on making it better? Igbos/SS are stakeholders, just like other Northerners in Lagos. Nigeria is really bleeding, including its economy. My fear with Tinubu winning is that ballot box snatching and thuggery will become the order of the day throughout the whole Nigeria. You can imagine a sitting APC governor Yahaya Bello destroying tarred roads in his opponents stronghold a day to the election. These and many more is what is expected in Tinubu's presidency. It is actually VERY SCARY to imagine. NIGERIANS, WE MUST NOT MISS PETER OBI!!! |
The word FLOORS is plain insulting. You should have said Wike/Tinubu Rigged out LP (Obi) in 3 Local Government in Rivers. We all saw what happened. Wike and his thugs snatching ballot boxes and rewriting results. |
Like if you think Obi (LP) will win Share if you think Tinubu (APC) will win Quote if you think Atiku (PDP) will win |
Sucre6:Go back and defend your vote. Wait till results are announced and copy down the results. |
This is wrong in every levels. Why disenfranchise a party likely to win the election like this? |
How the poll stands (in percentages): ATIKU ABUBAKAR (PDP) = 5.1-5.2% BOLA TINUBU (APC) = 13.7 - 13.8% PETER OBI (LP) = 77.3 - 77.4% RABIU KWANKWASO (NNPP) = 3.7 - 3.8% This is a huge win for Peter Obi (LP). Vote LP for the Nigeria of our dream. I am an Anambrarian. Peter Obi was our best governor till date, and is well-loved by Anambrarians. He revolutionized our education system, made Anambra State very secure, donated a lot of equipments to the Nigerian Police and the Military, etc. He virtually touched our lives in so many positive ways. Mark it somewhere, Peter Obi (LP) will above 95% of votes cast for Presidential election in Anambra. I predict him to win the Presidential Election in Nigeria overall in the first ballot. From our Nairaland Poll and the gap between the opponents and basic knowledge of statistics, PDAPC will have to buy more than 10 million votes for Peter Obi not to win. |
The Nairaland masses have truly spoken. That's a humongous lead by Peter Obi. |

The Nation newspaper owned by Tinubu is on a mission to create and post mischievous and frivolous news from South East, in a bid to subtly create hatred between other tribes and Igbo people. So far, it has not worked.. |

AFAIK You need Student Visa to study in Malaysia and you are not allowed to work with the student visa. IELTS is not mandatory if you graduated from a Nigerian higher institution. |

GeniusHawlah:I fault the exam question on the following areas: 1. The lyrics of the music in Appendix 1 should have been in English to give non-Yoruba speakers a level playing ground with Yoruba speakers 2. Total marks obtainable was 60 marks. I thought NUC benchmark is 70 marks for Exam |
Ifesinachi22:you are so wrong. Goinv through Onitsha represents the fastest route. Even Google Map can attest.
